First, I'll start by saying I had mine delivered by Uber Eats. The failed operations of this place is astounding. First, the wrong order was provided to the driver. The bag had nothing on the outside to determine which order it is. The driver was kind enough to return and swap out the orders even though they have no responsibility to do so. Upon return, the order was missing an item. Total incompetence at this place. The dressing for the Caesar salad was awful. Tasted like it was made with mostly mayonnaise. The ratio of bread crumbs to lettuce was overwhelming. Luckily, those are easy to pick out. The mac&cheese wasn't very cheesy. And the only option is fake noodles. Ridiculous. Terrible texture obviously with fake noodles. I also added roasted cauliflower. The chunks of cauliflower were too big and required the use of a knife to cut into edible portions. Seemed like lazy knife work in the kitchen. The Wagyu burger was pretty good and cooked to the doneness I requested. The jalapeños I added were diced into really small pieces. No pith. Therefore, no spice. And jalapeno with pith fully removed also has almost no flavor. I'm also not a fan of cheddar cheese on a burger but they don't allow for American or Monterrey Jack. The "fire roasetd tomato basil" soup was decent but still problematic. The cheese included is mozzarela. Never I have had a tomato soup that didn't use parmigian. And the mozzarela was a single gooey lump not sliced at advertised. Also, it was supposed to be "fire roasted" tomato soup. This is a lie. There was zero evidence of roasted tomatoes by sight or taste. I also could not detect by sight or flavor any hint of basil. read more

I had never heard of Bellagreen until my friend mentioned it and invited me for lunch. It was such a lovely overall experience! We arrived with our toddlers right when they opened and we looked over the menu before going up to the ordering counter. I learned from my friend that it is a chain restaurant and that it is a farm to table concept, which I'm always very appreciative of! We ordered a few appetizers; (Wagyu meatballs, empanadas, and cauliflower "wings") we also ordered a chicken wrap, and for our toddlers, we ordered pasta with marinara and sweet potato fries. We shared everything! The cauliflower "wings" stole the show for me, and my friend agreed. Sadly, the empanadas tasted like they were overcooked and were hard (to bite)... overall though, everything was very delicious! I will definitely be returning to try other items on their menu! The ambiance is welcoming with modern details and decor. Service was fantastic! Parking is in the garage of the building so you'll have to walk either around the building or through the bank hallway and lobby and then out and around to the door. By the sound, I initially thought Bellagreen was another salad bar, BUT NO! They have salads but they also have pizza, salmon, soups, sandwiches, gluten-free options and other chef-prepared meals. And my highlight was the concept for the "fountain drinks" which offers drinks from sodas to herbal teas. I placed my order to-go and took some time to look around while waiting, which wasn't long. This place is very nice but in a casual way. I loved how clean and shiny everything was from the floors to the tables. I ordered the pecan-crusted salmon which was delicious. As I waited I couldn't help but notice how friendly the staff was. They were extremely attentive and welcoming. I decided to try a drink so I ended up with a mixture of raspberry and passion fruit tea for a little over $3. My food was ready and as I decided to open the lid to see what it looked and smelled like when I got to my car, I noticed a hand-written note . We ordered 4 appetizers & dessert at lunch. The turkey lettuce wraps (3), the wagyu meatballs (5) and the honey garlic cauliflower (6-7 pieces) were really great, especially the cauliflower. I'd definitely order them & the meatballs again. The meatballs had lotsa marinara sauce & mozzarella, and the cauliflower was really garlicky w moderate heat. Yum! The fourth app were the hempanadas, and imho, they were pretty awful. They looked overbaked/fried, very dark brown, which maybe would have been ok, if that's what they're supposed to look like. But the edge of the crust was so tough& thick, you literally could not cut it even w a knife! The filling wasn't very good, either. I've made vegetarian empanadas w a regular crust, baked them, & they came out great. Not sure if it's the hemp or the spices, or the golden raisins, but these need deep sixing! On a brighter note, the carrot cake was superb! Nice ambiance, super clean, and really nice staff. After reading many positive reviews we decided to try this new restaurant. First thing that caught our eyes was the beautifully designed building where it was located. Opened the door and stepped into a modern, innovative designed restaurant. Immediately warmly greeted by the manager, Ryan, who instructed us about the ordering. Order at the counter, and they bring the food to your table. The menu is diverse and well balanced, something for everyone, even the pickiest child. We tried 2 of their signature dishes the roasted chicken and the wagyu meatball pasta. The food was incredible! Sliced into the juiciest chicken seasoned to perfection with fresh herbs. The wagyu meatball pasta tasted like it was homemade from grandma. The amazing service extended beyond the manger to the waitstaff and cooks. All standing by to make sure they exceeded our expectations. After having food therapy, we thanked everyone for a memorable experience. Ryan then proceeded to offer a free dessert on the house. Wow! We were looking for a food with fresh healthy food and decided to give Bellagreen a try, and I'm so glad we did! The food was delicious and filling and the staff was so kind and attentive. We tried the white chicken parm, goat cheese salad, and the seasonal roasted butternut squash and Brussels sprouts bowl (and my son had the kids chicken tenders). I would order it all again - it was so good! My favorites were the goat cheese salad and the chicken parm. Don't let the scaffolding around the building deter you from stopping in. We were concerned it wasn't open because it's hard to see from the street, but they are open and have excellent hours. We can't wait to come back to try the brunch too! Oh and while we didn't partake of any wine or beer on this visit, they do have wine by the glass and bottles of beer and have happy hour specials. First off parking is rough but i went on a weekday and around the building they have street parking or pay for a parking garage. the service was so so attentive. Wanted to try a few things so we got a kale Caesar salad ( it was bigger than two babies...) cauliflower wings (also HUGE LIKE THEY GAVE US THE WHOLE Cauliflower head!!!!! ) also my stand out dish so so so good for a hot wing alt! lastly we got the salmon pesto pasta.... didn't give this a chance bc i was so full from the other two things but was not my fav this time. We could eat here every day! I previously posted a glowing review of this literally hidden gem on Broadway. Behind the scaffolding at 1900 Broadway Bellagreen continues to serve up the freshest, most inventive and delicious fare we can find in the city. We are healthy eaters, but this is healthy food with taste and variety! After a dozen visits we are still trying new and delicious items. This week was veggie tacos and shrimp salad. Both were outstanding. Our granddaughter loved the fresh fruit and even created her own nouvelle cuisine - strawberries dipped in ketchup. I used to frequent the Bellagreen in Dallas for brunch and dinner and I would always get the same brunch plate or the Fig and Pig pizza. Here, I got the same things, but they were noticibly different. We waited roughly 25 minutes from ordering to get our food at the table. Then our food was warm but not even warm enough for the pancakes to melt the butter. For the breakfast plate, the Dallas location always had two pancakes, very small O'Brian potatoes, and fruit on the pancakes. This location had one slightly burnt pancake, large potatoes, and no fruit. The fig and pig pizza was good, but the one in Dallas isn't spicy, whereas this one was. It just didn't live up to my expectations of the other location I came to love, but waiting for a long time aside, it was decent. read more

We decided to give this place a try on our way to a Spurs game. Overall, an excellent experience! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The menu has something for everybody, including expansive gluten-free options. The food was superb, we primarily focused on pizza. The fig and pig is not to be missed and the original OG was terrific. The soda fountain is something to behold. Overall, we will absolutely be back. Don't forget to try the gluten-free carrot cake! Party of six women, and they were super super helpful. Hadn't realized it was going to be counter service, but they had no problem with us, taking our menus to the table.
