We love all the Lawton family restaurants in town, including this one. They have caring and knowledgable staff, nice ambiance, and outstanding food. My husband and I usually don't go out on Valentine's Day, but we decided last minute to stop by. Fortunately, it was early evening, so we found empty seats at the bar. Our bartender immediately greeted us and asked what we wanted to drink. We started with a blackberry bramble and top shelf margarita. For our entrees we had the veggie burger and house salad w/chicken. The veggie burger is my favorite in town because it is a homemade patty and the buns are buttery and perfectly toasted. The veggies and salad are always fresh and colorful. Our second round of drinks included the blueberry 75 and old fashioned. We were too full for dessert, but the chocolate cake is my favorite. read more

A great experience in this gem of a restaurant! It has bar and cozy seating that's great for a relaxing dinner. The service was smooth and friendly while the food was delicious and presented nicely. We sat in a small intimate booth that fit 2 people perfectly. The salmon burger was excellent and on a soft, fresh bread. The salmon was flavorful and juicy while the salad was refreshing. Prices listed are May, 2024 This is a good place for a weekday brunch or lunch. We stopped by and had the Chicken Salad Sandwich and the Turkey Cobb Sandwich - both were solid choices at $15 each. The food overall is really good. They have sandwiches, burgers, and salads. Plenty of options, but the menu stays simple, which I appreciate. They also have a nice selection of regional draft beers, heads up though: they're only 14 oz, not pints, and they cost $8 each. Service was decent, nothing over the top but no complaints either. We love Cappyccino's. While the atmosphere is underwhelming, the cocktails and food selections are spot on. We stop in not for a fancy meal. Along with the generous tasty portion of chicken salad (chicken, onions, pineapple or mango?, celery, salt and pepper), there is a bunch of large grapes, raw broccoli served with a honey lemon vinaigrette, strawberry slices, cherry tomato slices and a mango gelatin mold. It is quite a lot of food. Check out the picture. The one drawback about the restaurant is that they insist on keeping the place so cold. It feels so good when the A/C cycles off for a minute. The perfect location for your next date night! We came here without a reservation on a Saturday night, which was not our best decision, but it worked out! We were able to sit at the bar immediately and it truly made this experience all the better. We were able to look at all the food as it was being made which made decision making challenging, because everything looked SO GOOD! The ambiance was chill, the service was good and the food was amazing. We ordered the nachos to start and a couple drinks. I'm a ginger fan, so I ordered the ginger drink. It was a 10/10 in my eyes, but I know not everyone will agree. My boyfriend ordered a mule and a margarita. I would order all of these again! As for the food, we started with the nachos. They were served on a huge platter, fresh out the pizza oven. Easily the best nachos I've ever had! I am forever ruined on nachos from all other restaurants. The final bake in the oven is the smartest thing I've ever seen done with nachos. At this point, we were pretty full, again these nachos were quite the generous serving, so we split the antelope burger. It had a wonderful bacon jam on top and came with crisp home potatoe chips. Overall, a wonderful experience! My boyfriend has brought up cappuccinos every week since this date night, so will absolutely be working this in to o ur regular rotation. I have had this restaurant on my suggested places to go for a while and finally went. Man, am I glad I did. To start we had the soft pretzel. Absolute perfection. I had the chicken larb salad and my friend had the SW Chicken Cobb. I am a larb aficionado, so I was worried I would hate it. I didn't. However, it was very salty - something I love but some may not. They may want to use a little less fish sauce. Coleman and Tiffany were most present during our meal. It is obvious that all of the staff are fine dining trained as the service was impeccable. I cannot wait to go back to experience more of the menu. One of the servers told us that their hamburgers are made with Texas Wagyu beef. Something I am looking forward to. Well done! read more

I was recently found out about Cappyccino's by some family and was able to go last week, and I am so happy that I did! I had two Espresso Martinis, a steak melt with a Caesar salad and a sticky toffee pudding and everything was amazing! I sat at the bar and the service was phenomenal throughout my experience there. I remembered food being consistently delicious and an excellent coffee variety. I have to say they didn't disappoint on this last visit. I ordered their veggie burger with grilled mushrooms, poblano, onion and Swiss ($12) and an Elderflower Tea ($8). Loved both. The hamburger was perfect with that smoky poblano taste and it came with a small side salad. I did feel the salad needed a bit more dressing, but nonetheless, it was very good. The cocktail definitely hit the spot. It wasn't too sweet and it was very refreshing. Correspondingly, the atmosphere of Cappyccino's is very warm and welcoming. The waitstaff is friendly, and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. Cappyccino's is the scaled-down sister of the fancier and pricier Cappy's and the casual dining restaurant Mama's. It's not a bistro per se. As the picture shows it's rather spacious. I don't make it to this section of Broadway often, but a postcard I received in the mail offering a birthday discount in any of the three restaurants lured me here. I thought "Why not?" since I have never dined in Cappyccino's or Cappy's before. Being the adventurous sort I am, I tried the Broken Arrow Antelope Burger and the Sticky Toffee Pudding (vanilla). I decided to try this place on a recommendation from a friend. I was a little skeptical when I pulled up since the outside looks a little run down. I went on St Patty's day and they had a corned beef sandwich on special. The waitress really knew her stuff. She said they make their Russian dressing from scratch. It made the sandwich. So flavorful and juicy. It was fantastic. They make their chips as well. I believe she said they were lemon pepper flavored. They were good too. I was not a fan of the potato salad. They put peas in it. In my opinion, peas don't belong in anything. They should die a fiery death. So...I may be a fatty, but I was originally going there to get the recommended burger, and I didn't want to miss out, so I got both. Yeah, I know. I could have gone back, or gotten it to go. My first time at Cappyccino's. My beautiful wife and I chose this restaurant as our monthly meeting place with our amazing friends, Robert and Brandy. This is a cozy spot with a well stocked bar and limited menu. I prefer this over the three beers on tap and twelve page booklet with faded photos of French fries done fifteen ways. Service was attentive and friendly without being overly aggressive as if you need to hurry up and order, hurry up and eat and hurry up and pay. I've never been a fan of those types of establishments. This was a great place to meet up, catch up and fill up on great drinks and well prepared meals and appetizers. Everyone's meals were delicious and satisfying. This was a perfect place to eat and linger with conversation without feeling like we were being rushed out. I would definitely recommend Cappyccino's for a small gathering of great friends or a quiet night out with that very special someone. read more

A classic with great service. You'll feel like you've stepped back into the 80s in Santa Fe and the cuisine resembles that vibe. You're getting the same top quality of food that she would get a Cappys but done in more of a café style. Flatbreads and salads are highlights. Chicken quesadilla was tasty but a little bit sloppy. I'm still feeling uneasy about my experience at Cappyccino's yesterday. This is after going there many many times over the years and loving it and never having a single. I entered the back door at lunch time and walked through the restaurant to the main entry at the front. The restaurant was semi-busy but not crazy. There was an empty four top in the back and almost all of the bar seating was empty. There were no people standing around inside or out waiting for a table. I waited at the front entry area to be seated and could not get the attention of any of the staff milling around. I then noticed the chalk board said to seat yourself. No problem... I walked to the back of the restaurant and sat down to wait at the four top, which was still empty, for my wife and daughter who were parking the car. After a minute or so, a waiter came up to tell me I couldn't sit there as the table was reserved for the next person on the list. I asked... how is there a list? The chalk board says to seat yourself? These two things are contradictory... He tried to explain that they have a list when they get busy but wasn't making much make sense and was dismissive of my questioning... There was no one waiting for a table inside or out, there was no host to put you on a "list", and the four top had been empty for at least five minutes by then. I still don't understand this interaction or who the table could have been reserved for and it all just felt rude and dismissive. I left with my family to eat elsewhere. read more

This is a great spot for a tasty bite, and they were helpful with my food sensitivities, which is always appreciated. I had the combo, with 1/2 Turkey Cranberry Sandwich and a Cup of White Chili, and hubby had the Fun Guy Burger with a House Salad as a side.
