Best BBQ I've had outside of Texas. I take pride in my BBQ so for a restaurant to serve quality BBQ is hard to come by. I've traveled across the US trying a plethora of BBQ restaurants in all the different styles. This place no matter where you come from is worth the trip. Again it was outstanding.

I had visited the snowball place across the parking lot recently and saw this great barbecue place. I wasn't hungry for barbecue that day so I figured I would come back on another day. That happened to be just yesterday and we started off with snowballs and then moved over to this barbecue place to get a two meat platter. I opted to get the pulled pork and the pit beef. For my sides I decided to try the macaroni and cheese with chopped brisket and the apple sauce. It came with a choice of cornbread or a roll and I opted for the cornbread and made sure that they heard it because I love cornbread. What I didn't realize was that it automatically came with cornbread and my specifying. I ordered a separate order of it which came with this unbelievably delicious sweet honey butter that was already melted. Starting with the cornbread it was fantastic. It had almost like a honey butter crust to it which just made it amazing. It was flavorful and didn't even need any melted butter. The meat itself was good, but it definitely needed some type of sauce. The pit beef especially was very bland by itself and needed a kick to it. I had ordered the original barbecue sauce and it came in a small cup which was barely enough for half of the meat. Having not been here before I would have gotten multiple cups of sauce but since we took the barbecue to go I didn't realize it until we got home. The mac and cheese with chopped brisket was on point. The mac and cheese was just right. The brisket in the mac and cheese was flavorful. It wasn't too salty and it just made for a delicious side. The applesauce was homemade from Baughers, which is a local restaurant nearby. It was quite delicious and I would have loved to have had more of it. Others in my party had similar experiences with the meat. They would have loved to have had more sauce because it was bland to them as well. The only thing that differed in terms of their sides is that they got beans and they really didn't like them. They weren't sure what type of beans were used and it wasn't your standard type of big themes. As they were in more of a vinegar type sauce. They also had coleslaw which I don't care for but they said that was very good and a good addition as a side to their meal. So for those of you reading this review, I would highly recommend to get a couple one more containers of sauce. All in all this was a good find right next to an amazing snowball and ice cream stand. Make sure to check out the bus stop when you go to get barbecue. Feel free to check out my review for the bus stop as well.

We love Char'd a LOT. So we drove out here twice in a week. No shame. My Husband is obsessed with the Pit Turkey sandwiches and always does a side of mac n cheese. We've had a lot of meat, if you scroll through my other reviews, and he says hands down Char'd wins. My ideal meal from here is: 2 meat platter (double pit ham) w/ 2 sides (collard greens and coleslaw) I add on cheesy potatoes and beans. They're quick, the food is always spot on, the sauces are delicious! I added Char'd to my "Country Weekend" guide on Instagram.

This barbecue place is surprisingly good. The brisket was nice and tender. Very enjoyable to eat. The pit turkey was good as well. For my sides I had Mac and cheese mix with brisket and cheesy potato. Both were excellent. The cornbread was great. I haven't had a good tasty cornbread in a very long time. It was moist and sweet. I will definitely be back to this barbecue joint.

This place is a little bit of a drive for me but definitely worth it! I'm not a big bbq sauce gal so going in blindly and just hoping the meat is a 10/10 without any sauce is a toss up but this place did not disappoint. I ordered a brisket slider and pit turkey slider. Brisket was fall apart in your mouth moist (sorry for those who hate the word). I wish I had ordered one to go. The pit turkey was sliced perfectly and had great flavor. I was pleasantly surprised at the sizes of these sliders. I would consider them larger than half of the sandwiches offered at other bbq places. The workers were friendly and service was quick. Overall great experience and worth the drive.

We made the drive to visit Char'd on a whim while experiencing serious bbq cravings. While weather is pleasant, it's a wonderful outdoor setup with lots of space between tables (covid-friendly and dog-friendly). The menu covers your basic bbq offerings as well as sides; prices were fairly standard as were portion sizes. The brisket was juicy and flavorful but the collard greens were a tad bitter. We were a little disappointed when we ordered iced sweet tea to be given bottled store brand (not homemade) but our faults for assuming. All in all, definitely worth the trip for a fun, outdoor dining experience. A guarantee that you will leave satiated (with leftovers to enjoy at home).

We got the brisket tacos, cheesy potatoes, and collard greens. Such a satisfying meal. The only thing I'd change is I would add some vinegar to the collards. Make the trip to this place and then enjoy some ice cream at the bus stop!

Rich's pulled pork and brisket is easily the best tasting and the best price in the area. Double up on the Mac+cheese+brisket when u order.

Amazing mac n cheese brisket. Cornbread is better than my grammas (sorry gramma)! Quick, friendly service.

We ordered a Paneer Kathi roll and a Mutton Keema Pav. Both were good the Kathi roll reminded me of a tortilla wrap with blocked cheese, green peppers, onions, and sauce in it; mine had a bit of spice and it was great. It's also served with a handful of potato chips. The Mutton Keema Pav reminded me of a Sloppy Joe's sandwich, but with more spice and warm flavors. Food was great. Service was also nice. Depending on the type of food I was looking for, they made recommendations for me. They also finished making the food in about 12 minutes and brought our food to our table as the location wasn't too crowded when we went in the morning. They even checked in on us while we were there just to make sure we were satisfied!

I've had other menu items from here before - the koti rolls and some of the small plates and they've been pretty good, but the sandwich set it back a few stars for me personally. Details: Namaste Foodie is located within Clarksville Common, which is set up to feel kind of like street vendors fused with an element of suburbia. You order your food and then can take it to sit in one of the shared indoor/outdoor spaces. After you order your food, most of the experience is self-service (e.g. drinks). Namaste Foodie has a lot of good things going on, but I was pretty confused when I got the sandwich. It felt very plain and lackluster, contrary to some of their other menu items. None of the ingredients really "popped" in terms of quality or flavor and the sum of the parts fell kind of short. I would eat here again, but I would stick with something else next time.
