    This ain't bbq sauce

I never do this but the chicken I just got was an insult to bbq And chicken. This bird didn't get anywhere near smoke. It didn't see any flames either. So not bbq, and not grilled. Oven roasted, day old, and microwaved (or way over cooked). When it got to me the skin was parboiled soggy and smothered some kind of watery excuse for bbq sauce (see pic). The sauce is like ketchup and honey mixed with water, almost like the Pilgrims made it (not that they had ketcup, but you get the idea). No body or soul and definitely no respect for bbq. Fries were decent, thus the one star. Not sure where these peeps learned bbq'ing, but it wasn't anywhere proper. MD may have sided with the North but were below the Mason-Dixon line. Owners--call yourself a pit beef joint that sells chicken and ribs but don't call your place a bbq joint. Awful.

    Wimpy wings

PLEASE NOTE THIS REVIEW IS ONLY FOR THE CHICKEN WINGS. I still highly recommend the Pit Beef with 5 Stars! Got the wings for my wife and they had very little flavor and majorly undercooked, I got my usual 2 large pit beef sandwich's and they were great! 2 weeks later I begged her to go again and told them to "please make them crispy because last time they were not cooked enough ", he said no problem. I got my usual 2 large pit beef sandwiches and as usual it was great! Got home and exact same thing with the chicken wings-no flavor and even more undercooked! I tried to find an email but couldn't so I'm hoping this reaches the owner. One last thing in regards to the wings, they advertise "Jumbo Wings" and as can be seen in my video they are average size at best. They should be jumbo wings especially since we're paying 6/$9!

Pit Beef and St Louis Rib sandwich (April 2023)

April 2023 My hubby loves the pit beef sandwich here. I went here years ago and thought it was all right. His buddy came up to visit so we went here for lunch on a Sunday. I decided to try something other than the pit beef and got the St. Louis Ribs sandwich. It came with three bone in so could have been messy, but I was able to use a knife and fork to pull it apart. Unfortunately, the ribs didn't impress me much. Sauce was average and the meat wasn't as tender as I typically like. My hubby's friend liked his Turkey sandwich. Hubby and I ordered a regular side of fries to share. That is probably my favorite item that I have eaten here. There are a few parking spaces in front of the restaurant and more spaces in the back. There are also two picnic tables in the back. Most patrons appear to get carryout. They offer a 10% discount for veterans and first responders, which is cool.

Meh, I've definitely experienced better. + friendly service + mozzarella sticks + tiger sauce - pit beef was dry as hell - sides were kinda weak - order / pick up area is confusing - no seating, grab and go Overall, I much prefer Chaps, Bullhead, Expressway, etc.

The beef tips were delicious! I was sad they didn't have wings when we ordered since they said there was a wing shortage. We also had the brisket and the pulled pork. Everything was very delicious. They charged me twice by accident on my credit card but I called and it was quickly rectified.

"My daughter, S A M," Shaw signs back, "playing guitar," as he makes hand motions. "Being able to hear that." "You don't need to. Every spring, I go to the Boston Pops." "Why?" Frank asks disconsolately. "To watch...the feeling...the musicians...to see their joy. It's enough. To see that, to share it." Watching Ava recapture physically not just the performance in her retelling but the appreciation from both musicians and concert-goers alike, Frank starts to rediscover hope, even as he and Ava try to stay alive from the killers hunting them. The appetizers, entrees, and desserts from Eataliano Market & Deli, located at 5325 Phelps Luck Drive in Columbia, Maryland, prompt similarly unexpected overflows of culinary memories and joy. Upon our first visit of what we hope will be many, my wife and I placed the following takeout order: 1 order of Baked Meatballs 2 orders of Garlic Bread 1 ten-inch Empire Pie (I requested no ricotta or extra virgin olive oil) 1 order of Rigatoni Meatballs alla Vodka 1 order of Spaghetti with Homemade Meat Sauce 1 slice of Limoncello Mascarpone Cake 1 slice of Pistachio Cheesecake The garlic bread and pistachio cheesecake alone conjured spectacular reminisces. The pizza is the best we've had in Maryland, although my wife regretted my choice of no ricotta; and we would gladly reorder our pasta dishes if we didn't have many more entrees that we want to try.

HIDDEN GEM!!!! I…read morestumbled across this place while visiting Columbia, MD. I was craving a good cheesesteak, so I did what any responsible foodie would do--I consulted Google. This place kept popping up, so I figured the internet couldn't be wrong... at least not this time. The restaurant is tucked away in what feels like a residential area, making it a true hidden gem. The parking situation, however, deserves its own reality show. Spaces are limited, and getting in and out of the parking lot felt like I was participating in an advanced driving course. The establishment offers nice seating, but don't expect a formal dining experience. You place your order at the counter and then find your own seat. When we arrived, the place was packed with people ordering and eating. That's usually a good sign, and at that point I knew we had either found the jackpot or everyone in Columbia had the exact same cheesesteak craving. Because of the crowd, ordering took a little while. The dining area was also in need of some attention--we ended up cleaning our own table before sitting down. The food took longer than expected to arrive, but as soon as I took the first bite, all was forgiven. We ordered two cheesesteaks and a personal pepperoni pizza. The cheesesteaks were absolutely loaded with perfectly grilled meat, topped with grilled onions and peppers, all served on a warm, soft hoagie roll. Every bite was packed with flavor and required at least a few extra napkins. The personal pepperoni pizza was also excellent. I'd describe it as a traditional thin-crust pizza with the perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. No ingredient was trying to steal the spotlight--it was a well-rehearsed pizza ensemble. As I said from the beginning, this place is a hidden gem. The food alone is worth the trip. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5 is because of the challenging parking situation and the dining area's cleanliness and service. Fix those two issues, and this place might just become my new definition of a cheesesteak pilgrimage destination

It's a smallish space and indoor seating was really full at 11 AM on a weekday. Because of rain, the outdoor benches were not in use, and I saw closed-up patio-umbrellas too. I ordered from a kiosk or you could order online or in person. I got the bacon egg and cheese croissant and it was made quickly by welcoming staff. It was a regular size croissant with very light cheese and a layer of crispy bacon pieces in a well toasted croissant. The flavor was good. This café also sells a number of beverages, including fresh ground espresso, and various teas And they sell some bakery goods, candies, and quite a variety of dry-packaged teas and coffee. The parking right in front Café Jun can get pretty full, but there's plenty parking in the rest of the shopping center. You can enter the shopping area from eastbound US-40 Baltimore National Pike, or from westbound Frederick Road. It's just east of Centennial Lane/Bethany Lane and about a mile West of US 29. The larger shopping area has a diner 3-strip mall sections, one of which is called Princess Shopping Center, so I'm a little confused which mall-name covers which shops. They have a summer concert planned! That should be fun!

People do seem to respect the 90MIN seating window though so you should be able to find a seat. You order and pay at the counter first and then they give you a table number card. This is how they find you to serve your food. I ordered a regular matcha latte, a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on croissant bread and their famous croffle. I loved their matcha latte. It's pre-sweetened so no need to add extra vanilla syrup or anything. This does not taste like a traditional matcha, which in my opinion tastes like dirt. This is a sweeter, dessert like matcha. I didn't care for the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. It was kind of dry and it tasted like something was missing. The croffle was amazing. It has a nutty, pecan like taste to it and it was topped with vanilla gelato and blueberries. I couldn't really taste the maple syrup but it was delicious nonetheless.
