Cruisin Cafe was at the 2nd Annual Wine Festival at Canton, Baltimore..

I was introduced to Cruisin café at the second annual wine festival in Baltimore.. The food was served from their food truck.. They were very professional, friendly and accommodating.. The food was very creative and so delicious.. The next time I'm in the Baltimore area i'm definitely eating at Crusin café..

I realized that I have eaten at the food stand a few times. Once at Rash field in a battle of the cities, once at the food truck meet up in Hampden and finally by accident close to my house in Canton. The truck was parked close by, so we walked over and checked it out. They were actually catering an event, but they hooked us up with a free crab cake sandwich. It was delicious. I have only tried the signature "crabby fries" the previous two times. I highly recommend them as well. (crab dip on french fries). I won't forget Cruisin Cafe again.

Went again and this time got the crab cake sandwich with fries. Delicious again. The crab cake was a little soft and got smushed every time I took a bite, but it was still very good. Tip: I'd make sure to ask for utensils and napkins even if you think you might not need them because this yummy meal can get messy!

I don't leave reviews often, but I felt inclined after trying this fabulous food truck. Found it parked nearby UMD medical center and was awed by the crabby frenchfries - which is what it sounds like - but better. Also be sure to ask the super chill dude working there for a sample or two; he is the man. Thanks for a great meal guys.

I chose a hot carrot cake latte with oatmilk, a blueberry breadpudding muffin topped with almonds and a corned beef on house made sode bread. I enjoyed absolutely everything. Definitely a mountain of mouth watering flavor. The staff are so warming and gentle all that match the environment for a complete relaxed vibe. I had a mocha latte and this Iranian Chocolate Pop-Tart thing that was awesome.... I really need to start taking pictures of my food and these places. The ambiance is that of a coffee house but this coffee house is an old historic building with natural wood floors and big windows. The layout is convenient for having a mix of seating and the volume was such that we could hear our party but not feel like we were screaming. The coffee was good. the people friendly, the snacks (ok not a meal but too much to ignore from the experience) the snacks were delightful. My wife almost ate half of my Pop-tart it was so good. Ok, this one gets a definite try, the locals seemed to like it, it was close-ish to Columbia, and worth checking out.

Interesting K cups for sale!! Eggnog, strawberry rhubarb, and other flavors you won't see elsewhere. Gone is the cherry coffee. And breakfast was 24 dollars for a coffee and flat croissant. I wanted the fluffy one with chocolate and pistachio but they got the order wrong and I got the flat, moist bottomed, sugar topped with artificial crusties that they call knaifev and I suspect is a phyllo dough crunchy. No bagels now (there is a bagel place in the complex). Coffee was ok. Took a while for the serve and sit for a regular coffee. Still lots of potential. They are trying. There's plenty of indoor seating, very cozy, as well as outdoor tables & seats. I was helped right away and ordered a latte and 2 spinach pastries! I sat in at a little table by the window, and ate my first pastry and it was so fresh and delicious, it reminded me of Greece. Unfortunately, the main reason I went there, the coffee...it had burnt taste. I ended up only drinking a little bit and poured the rest out. I'm sure they probably have great coffee, but it was 4:30pm and I'm thinking I got an old batch. I would definitely go back again for the pastry and try the coffee again, earlier in the day. The service was great, very friendly staff!

Located in Stevenson Village, my partner and I tried a little bit of everything--you name it, we probably had it lol. The ham and cheese croissant was to die for--crispy cheese and buttery perfection. We also got the sweet glaze croissant (not heavy at all) and the famous chocolate chip cookie. I've truly heard this was the best cookie in Baltimore, and I think it holds true! Buttery, crunchy edges with a soft middle--so decadent. We got two (one there and one to go!). Not pictured: the amazing carrot cake we brought home. If I'd known how good it was going to be, I would've grabbed more. So soft, and the cheesecake frosting was A1. The banana bread was super soft too--fluffy and delicious. We also got lattes--almond milk vanilla latte for me. It's not sweet (just a heads up if you like sugary coffee), but they had Splenda and sugar upstairs. The loft had a good amount of seating, and service was friendly and informative. It's about 25 minutes from me, which is probably a good thing because I'd spend way too much money here otherwise But I'm so happy I stopped by. Definitely had a cheat day, and I'll absolutely be back when I'm not watching what I eat. Vibes are laid back, they're known for their Argentinian flair and we never felt rushed. Also had wifi! VISIT ASAP. Even though the latte wasn't my fave item, I'd still 100% recommend coming here for every amazing pastry.

Both of the ladies working were friendly and helpful answering any questions I have and giving their recommendationsZ The croissant alone will ensure that I return to Cafe Luli. It was not overly sweet but was so delicious and soft. I wasn't the biggest fan of the cookie, but I am not typically a thin and crispy cookie girl. The Alfajores were also a sweet treat, melting in your mouth. The ambiance is very cute. It feels homey and smells so good when you walk in. The prices are comparable to other coffee shops in my opinion. There appears to be an upstairs area but I didn't not explore that area today as I was running around doing errands.

I ordered the Middle Eastern Combination Platter ($12.95) which came with 3 pieces of falafel, 2 small grape leaves, an incredibly small portion of hummus, babaganoush, foul (fava bean stew), tahini sauce, pita bread and a "Mediterranean salad". The falafel was too hard on the outside that I could not pierce my fork through it. It was almost as if they deep fried it multiple times. In addition, there was wayyyy too many cumin seeds in the falafel. The grape leaves were just ok and filled with a rice mixture. The foul was also full of cumin. The menu states that feta cheese is included, but I received none. The "Mediterranean salad" was not a Mediterranean salad at all. It was more like a cheap garden salad with cucumbers, tomato, lettuce, and carrots. I also ordered the mixed lamb & chicken kabob ($15.95) which only came with rice, onions, roasted green peppers and tomato, and a bland tahini sauce. There were no mushrooms as the menu stated there would be. Both the lamb and chicken were dry and had no flavor to them. I was pretty disappointed with this place. They lack serving components of what their menu states and the food quality is not fresh and flavorful.

So let me tell you what we DIDN'T get. I'm a huge fan of feta cheese so I was sorely put out when the feta cheese cubes were missing, and the grape leaves were about the width of your ring finger and didn't have much taste. The fool was chunky and lacking in flavor and the tahini sauce and salad dressing were watery. We also got a Four Seasons pizza but my BF said that the crust had a vague cinnamon flavor to it that he found odd. We spent $50+ and I just thought, "Meh." I would not be so harsh if I hadn't gone to Habib Meditteranean in Glen Burnie the week before and had some food that I thought was pretty darn terrific.

I ordered the Chicken and waffles, a side of eggs and fruit on top of my waffles and an espresso martini. Unfortunately the eggs were the only thing I ordered that came out ok. The check came out and it had chicken tenders and fries and eggs price was $4 which was $2 on the menu.
