The flowers were made with a decorating tip that may have been wet because the flowers were runny. Also flowers made with icing which melts and not butter creme which holds up better. The chocolate cake half is uneven and frosting thick. The yellow cake side much thicker with thin frosting in parts. The cake wasn't leveled. The plus was the cake taste wasn't bad, but my daughter who bakes cakes felt it may have been a boxed cake. We don't know because we didn't further eat the cake. It ruined my daughters birthday. Good future stories though. The cake was 103.00 and the effort was there, but not worth the money. D-

The latte was little on the sweet side for me, but the flavor was decent. The breakfast sandwich I got on an asiago bagel, and it was pure deliciousness. The chicken sausage was seasoned nicely, and the asiago bagel was so soft and pillowy. I thoroughly enjoyed this sandwich. And the muffin was quite tasty too. With so many items to try on Joanna's menu and their good customer service, I'll definitely be back to try some other things when I'm in the area.

The pastries don't have signs with the names of items or the price but I was relieved to find it very affordable (true to what many of the other reviews say). For context, this loaf (which served at least 10 people) + a custard pastry was $9.50, which I think is a great deal. A neighborhood bakery full of great looking breads, pastries, cakes and loyal customers, contributing to an overall great ambience and experience. A great way to start my morning and I look forward to visiting again!
