They have a variety of meats to choose from - I got the $12 2 meat sampler sandwich (you can get no bun as a platter) with ham & pit beef. Both were moist and fresh. Was expecting a little more flavor from the pit beef, but it was still good. My husband got their $12 Thanksgiving turkey special. For the price, this place is an awesome value. We've been going there for over 10 years and at least once a week or more. Today we ordered 2 Pitbeefs to go. When we arrived home the Pitbeef was full of fat and very thick pieces. I placed a catering order 6 weeks in advance. Paid in full (nearly $400). Arrived the day to pick it up. Order was completely missed. Instead of apologizing and making it right for the customer the staff was very rude and said they would make it but there are people in front of me so I would need to wait. NO REFUNDS. Stopped by this place for the first time and thought I try the ribs so I ordered a half rack. I had no idea that I would have to wait for them. They seemed more concerned about filling the sandwich order than the rib orders. After about a 20-minute wait I asked for my money back since I would not have had time to enjoy the food onsite. I live an hour and a half away and had a meeting scheduled later that evening so I had to get going.
