They have a variety of meats to choose from - I got the $12 2 meat sampler sandwich (you can get no bun as a platter) with ham & pit beef. Both were moist and fresh. NO REFUNDS. Stopped by this place for the first time and thought I try the ribs so I ordered a half rack. I had no idea that I would have to wait for them. They seemed more concerned about filling the sandwich order than the rib orders. After about a 20-minute wait I asked for my money back since I would not have had time to enjoy the food onsite. I live an hour and a half away and had a meeting scheduled later that evening so I had to get going. They asked me why I wanted my money back I replied that I didn't have time to eat it and presented by card to them for processing. They in turn gave me my order which I did not accept and explained again that I did not have to time to eat it and had to get going. We've been going there for over 10 years and at least once a week or more. Today we ordered 2 Pitbeefs to go. When we arrived home the Pitbeef was full of fat and very thick pieces. I placed a catering order 6 weeks in advance. Paid in full (nearly $400). Arrived the day to pick it up. Order was completely missed. Instead of apologizing and making it right for the customer the staff was very rude and said they would make it but there are people in front of me so I would need to wait. Went around lunchtime in the Fall and it was quite packed. It wasn't clear where to get in line, so people had the front area crowed with people and kids in "line". It took about 20-25 minutes to get our order. At that time I had to go to a table behind all the people to get condiments. No onions or mustard was out so I had to work my way to the front area and tell them they needed to refill containers. Took 10 minutes for the refills and by then my roast beef sandwich and fries were cold. They have picnic tables out doors but they had remnants of other people's lunches on them.
