i have only tried this place on doordash. got the long bean and gizzard on dry noods - pretty good and flavorful! which made me try the duck and chicken! def also not bad and planning to try more dishes there!

First off, this place has one of the better roast duck. And it's only $15.99 as promotion. The rice noodle was legit. I have the beef tropes one and it was good. The tendon was tender, tripes were good as well. I will come back to try the beef stew noodle soup. It looks good too but haven't tasted it yet.

(Jade Tea Garden) The food and service were great! There are two sides to this restaurant. The main entrance is behind Ranch 99, and around the right corner is the other side that is a more relaxed and casual atmosphere. The quality of food and flavor is outstanding, from the region of Changsha. The drinks selection is limited, they don't offer hot tea so we went with water. We ordered the Beef Soup and Chicken Skewers (which were next level delicious). Service was attentive!

Be aware!!! The signage outside says "Jade Tea Garden" for this restaurant. Just a heads up since I had a hard time finding "Changsha" outside the store front. Overall, I'd give it more of a 4.5 stars. This is a really casual restaurant with friendly staff and lots of seating! Casual Southern Chinese food. I'd recommend their Chicken Skin Skewers, Braised Beef Noodle Soup, Guanzhou Roast Duck, and Liangpi. (The cold noodles with chili oil and cucumbers)

Sooo good. Almost every dish I had here hit. As their name says, they are known for their rice noodles, and I can definitely see why. So slippery and chewy in texture; perfect vesicle for picking up their flavorful broths and: or dry options. Gotta get the spicy braised beef, mala beef (if you like spicier), and chicken zha jiang (umami flavor bomb). The toasted duck here is very juicy and flavorful as well (wouldn't recommend the sauce on the side that it comes with. Everything else was good, aside from the handmade layered pancake:/ The place is very brightly lit and seems to be connected by hallway with. another Chinese restaurant. Everything was clean and the people were so nice and accommodating too!

Met up with some old coworkers in Sunnyvale at this pretty authentic hunan restaurant. There are 2 in this plaza, this location is next to to fantasia tea or it says fantasia around it. For a Sunday evening parking was pretty busy but there's a parking garage right across from it. We got a table for 5. We ordered 2 bowls of their beef and rice noddle soup (so good), beef and lamb skewers (I loved the seasoning, quite spicy), roasted duck (very crispy), and dumplings. We still had leftovers for 5 people and it was very affordable like less than $30 a person. I would def come back and even order out skewers. Service was quick and efficient. We ordered via QR code on the phone.

Braised beef rice noodle. Not very spicy, beef was soft and tasty, rice noodle was very smooth.

This restaurant used to be 「醉香小舘」, now「長沙米粉」。I read some good review and decided to give it a try today. We ordered Braised Beef Rice Noodle and half a roasted duck. The duck was SO juicy, skin was very crispy. The beef rice noodle which has one 'chili' sign but was only mildly spicy and left a tingling sensation on the lips due to the spicy peppercorn oil. The rice noodle was very smooth. The restaurant was remodeled and now it is very spacey. Service was timely and attentive although we had to order using QR code. I am glad we rediscovered this place and will visit again for sure.

Must order: Roast Duck (crispy skin) yum! Noodles were ok nothing special Handmade dumplings were tasty and great portion. Grill chicken skewers were not grill and more like deep fried.

The food here was better than I imagined! I loved the style of their rice noodles with a little spicy kick. I eat a lot of roast duck and this place was by far the best! I'll definitely be back in the future.

I've been looking for a skewer spot ever since our favorite one closed but this place has soooo much more than just skewers, I was amazed!! The duck here was actually so good & their portions are huge. Everything was super hot and fresh which made it so much better- the only note is they don't put a warning on the spice level so we were dying lolol (and we can get eat pretty spicey) I will probably ask them to lower the heat next time but the bun was my absolute fav!!

Very delicious! The service is very good, and the store is very clean. Specially recommended: grilled oysters and roast duck. I will order it every time I come!

Maybe it's still really new, everything feels very hectic. The food is good, large portions though so order accordingly.

I liked how they have a sign posted on window saying that gratuity is at free will and you don't pay for the wrong dish they send to you. It showed accountability. There was no line for us to be seated. I was able to flag down a server to seat us since they seem to be extremely busy cleaning tables and servicing others. The hotpots are full of ingredients and the broth has always been tasty. Unfortunately, the meats seem to be overcooked. Prices have been going up over the years where only the monthly special is enticing for the value. Servers were friendly and checked in on us, but it took 25 minutes for our food to show up at our table after we ordered. The only consistent experience I've had are the oranges at the end of the meal. They are always amazingly sweet, juicy, and comes off the peel easily. I don't usually enjoy oranges, but I love the ones HomeEat offers! Will be back if in the area, but hope kitchen service will be quicker in the future.

The yellow braised chicken over rice is a traditional northern Chinese dish originated in Shandong province. Who would've thought the combination of garlic, ginger and soya sauce produces such a beautiful yellow glossy color while it trumps the aromatic and rich taste. The chicken pot can be had either boneless or with bone. We ordered the boneless. It was very tender. The pig's trotter pot was braised slightly differently, but equally delicious. I wasn't impressed with the watered-down soup that had barely anything in there and tasted bland. Veggie side dish ok. It's a comfort food with a swagger. Surprisingly, the normal Dan Dan noodles ("special sesame dry noodle") were quite bad. The beef and tendon noodle soup is not bad, decent for when I was sick. There is a "beef and tendon noodle soup" as well as a "beef only noodle soup" on the menu - you might think the beef only one would be better value and have more meat, I ordered both to see the difference - even though the meat only one does have more meat, the meat is more tough and very hard to chew. So the beef with tendons soup has way better texture and more tender meat pieces

After placing our order, the food came out relatively quick. We ordered 2 beef noodle soups, the works, and 2 beef rolls. Starting off with the beef rolls, these came out cold. I heard that this is what this place was known for. The meat in our rolls wasn't even lukewarm and the pancakes came out super soggy almost like they didn't even try. Please tell me how the pancake look brown and crispy on the outside and still comes out cold and not crispy at all. My nephew even said they weren't crispy and he's 3. The lady told us that the sauce on the inside was salty and that's why they don't give extra and man was she right. 1/5* The beef noodles soup itself flavor wise was good and portion wise it was good for $21, but my noodles had no chew to them at all. I was attempting to pick them up with chopsticks and they would just break into pieces. They do give a decent amount of beef though in this. 2.5/5* for the flavor but don't expect much from the noodles. Same thing went for the works, it was a peanut buttery sauce that the lady claimed wasn't spicy, but my parents noticed that it had a kick to it even though they asked for it not to be spicy. The egg is a nice touch but not too sure if it's worth the price. Noodle consistency was the same as the beef noodle soup. 2.5/5*

We have been curious about this restaurant since we moved to the neighborhood. Finally got a chance…read moreto check it out. It is a bit of a dumpy place right next to a gas station, across from an empty strip mall shop area! We weren't even sure the restaurant was open when we got here. We were asked to pick any table - mostly booths. There's a QR code to scan and place your order. After peruse quite an array of items we picked the ma po tofu and the beef with onions. Service was minimal- we weren't even sure presented with 2 cups and a carafe of water to start. Our order arrived and we got a complimentary seaweed miso soup. Soup was quite good with real seaweed - not the dehydrated stuff in some Japanese restaurants. Surprisingly the food was delicious! The ma po tofu was very authentic. There's schezwan peppers or Mala in it but it was not overpowering that it numbs your tastebuds! The tofu was soft and silky. The beef had good flavor and balanced the meal out. Beef was tender. Overall we enjoyed our meal. Will definitely come back to try other dishes on the menu If you're not familiar with traditional Chinese entrees the menu can be quite daunting and a turn off. They definitely utilize all animal parts!

I'm super surprised how good this restaurant is. In general I think Bay Area Chinese food sucks…read morecompared to SoCal and I often drive down to SoCal just because I miss more authentic Chinese food there. However I can honestly say this restaurant is just as good as the best Hunan/Sichuan food from the San Gabriel area. This used to be a different Sichuan dry pot restaurant that was so so and I really haven't gone back since the new one opened up. The name is also really misleading because many Taiwanese restaurant use Grandma as the name. As a foodie this restaurant is legit. It's in a small plaza shared with another Taiwanese restaurant so parking can be difficult but there are plenty of street parking right next to the restaurant. The interior is clean and well organized. The service is prompt and good enough. They ask for reviews but didn't promise some freebie for a semi fake 5 star review which is great. I never leave a good review just for a freebie because my integrity is way more expensive than freebies. The food is phenomenal and authentic in every way. The frogs are tender and the spices are not overwhelming and brings out the flavor of the frog meat just right. The cured pork (pig face meat) is very rare in the states. It's also cured properly to give the authentic hunan flavor. They also mix it with raddish slices which is also rare in most Chinese restaurants here in the states. Even the conch with bamboo shots surprised me in how thin the slices of the conches are. It's also flavored without being too spicy nor too salty. Everything is on point. I do wish they used better white rice but that alone is not enough for me to take off any stars. This is just a wonderful restaurant that's on par with my favorite hunan restaurant in San Gabriel and I'm so glad I found it because I'm sure going to go back every week now.
