I've never felt more unwelcome at an establishment. Just because we are teenagers doesn't mean we should be treated like second-class citizens. The service here was flat-out disrespectful. The staff constantly rushed us through our entire visit like they couldn't wait to get rid of us. Cham Sut Gol is a AYCE KBBQ place that I have visited for years. The staff is nice and is always welcoming. For the price, $27 for lunch and $35 for dinner - you truly can't go wrong. Yes, the meat quality isn't going to be something that you long for and are craving and the sides aren't crazily delicious, but if you are craving AYCE KBBQ and don't want to break the bank this is a great option. There are no premium options that current restaurants offer, so its easy to know that there is only 1 menu. I opt for the beef brisket and beef belly since I like more of the natural meat flavor, but I have ventured farther to their shrimp, octopus, pork belly, and bulgogi which are good choices as well. The menu also offers steamed egg (I recommend), tofu soup, and sushi! They do have additional offerings on top of the starter sides that they do deliver so just be sure to ask. I typically get radish wrap and salt with sesame oil! This place can get busy fast (especially on a weekend) so be sure to use the call button on the table when you need a server since most of them will be occupied helping other customers. read more

This place used to be one of favorite places to go. We became close to some of the lady's who worked there, but lately since the last 2 times we've been there, we haven't seen them. Our last experience there was not great with the service. Those women are rude with no respect. As my wife who's Korean was asking her for oil& salt after taking our order, she just walks away as my wife is talking to her. She comes with meat & literally just throws it on our grill & drops the meat on the table then puts on the grill ( who even knows if that table is even clean ) then knocks over my chop sticks that I had on my bowl. I tend to frequent a couple of other KBBQ spots in this area as Rowland/Industry have a ton, but it was this past Friday and the local favorites all had two hour wait times. I hadn't been here since the high school days so we said heck it, let's try it again! We walked in and were instantly seated, no wait. Amazing. Three women appeared and started laying out the table with the usual assortment of side dishes and salad, etc. This spot is a well oiled machine and you are not assigned a specific server, they all come around and help out as needed. Throughout the experience we couldn't run out of anything; a side dish, salad, even the dipping sauces, as soon as they were out we'd get a brand new one. If we got carried away in conversation a server would appear and start cooking for us and adding more meat to the grill. Everything was instant and fast and I honestly can't say enough good things about the place. The meat quality, the side dishes, the service, everything was on point and the ambiance was very warm and cozy, it felt like a little piece of home from another country. I've been going here for 10+ years and it's still the best place for kbbq. The hospitality is unmatched!!! The meat is bomb. I always look for my mama jinsu because she's so sweetie pie and always comes and gives the best service and hugs and pours so much love into whoever I'm with. But everyone else is always so kind, sweet and happy. I can't attest for the other reviews but I think it's definitely just the energy you put out. I'm always so happy and hungry to come in and they're always so excited and eager to feed us (and help us cook too). I literally come here for my birthday every year and have gotten a lot of my family to come here for their birthdays too. My friend who is a regular there ordered for us all and everything was excellent. My favorite was the marinated short rib. They also have sushi! The sushi was okay, but I didn't have high expectations for a kbbq place. It was nice to put some kbbq on top of the sushi. Service was outstanding. The servers loved pur group and checked on us regularly. They also played with our kids and offered them different goodies as well. They really took care of us. It was super sticky and greasy. We had to wipe it down ourselves. Service is still quick. They take your order and bring you the side dishes as soon as you sit down. The food arrives rapidly. We ordered Brisket, Beef Belly, Bulgogi, & Pork Belly with Sauce. Three out of the four meat selections were fine, but not flavorful. You need to dip it with the sauces. I recently tried this location for the first time for a birthday dinner, and I'm not sure if this chain is related to the Buena Park or Garden Grove locations, but if it is then it has gone downhill. From the start, we tried ordering tofu soup and the server responded with frustration, telling us we couldn't order it until the end of our meal, which made us confused. The quality of the meat was also a letdown. It came out super frozen, tasted off, and was pretty much flavorless. (I had to drench it in sauce just to make it enjoyable.) Compared to its other locations, this one has definitely dropped in quality. While the servers were fast, they weren't very friendly or helpful, which took away from the overall experience. I also wouldn't recommend a large party of more than 8 people to come here, because it was pretty cramped and our table itself had no room during our entire meal to place any plates. If you've visited the other locations, then you'd know you get to enjoy ice cream at the end of the meal which is pretty much still the highlight. However, with so many other KBBQ options out there, I'd recommend exploring those instead. read more
