We tried the their specialty, Galbi Jim (without the cheese) at mild level. The dish is shared between 6 of us and it comes with 3 bowls of rice (we chose the brown rice). We added mandu as our appetizer. The Galbi Jim was delicious, the marinated prime ribs were very tender, cooked with potatoes, green onions, carrots, onions, and rice cake sticks. Our server was pleasant and quick. Definitely will come back next time we're in LA!

One of the biggest draws is that they're open 24/7, which is surprisingly hard to find these days. I'll definitely be back to see what the late-night crowd is like. The service was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. We ordered the Mo Deum Soo Yook (assorted boiled pork), and it was excellent. The variety of cuts kept every bite interesting, and the portion was generous enough to comfortably feed four adults. It's the perfect dish to pair with a few bottles of soju. I found that adding a little salt and pepper really brought out the flavors, and the broth became richer and more satisfying as the meal went on. The quality, generous portions, and round-the-clock hours make this a spot that's easy to recommend. The 24/7 availability is a huge bonus, especially when you're craving comforting Korean food at odd hours.

I had lunch here with coworkers the other day and the experience was pretty good. We had a table of 8 and didn't need to wait to be seated. Surprising consisting it was the lunch rush. It was my first time here so I tried the Seok Uh Sulung Tang soup as it was recommended by one of my coworkers. They served it with a side of purple rice and quite a number of banchan side dishes. You do get served water in paper cups though. The soup was ok. If you like tonkotsu broth, it's similar; slightly different flavor profile, but close enough. I would recommend adding little scoops of the salt until it has the flavor you like. Also, add in the green onions as that's a nice addition to the broth. You will find glass noodles at the bottom of the bowl with cuts of beef tendon and brisket on top. It's a hearty soup but I think there are definitely better options on the menu. Would I recommend this place? Yes, as the soup was decent, service was good, and I noticed quite a few dishes that I would have ordered if it was dinner.

Party of 5--was not disappointed by the size of the galbijjim. All of the food was very good. Tea and water were provided and refilled regularly. SI provided a nice experience by torching the cheese table side.

When you aren't feeling well and you need soup. This is where you should go. Any time. Any day. Staff is there to take your order and bring you food. Such nice hardworking people. It doesn't feel like how it use to be years ago, but I'm glad they're still here. Best comfort place for sick days or nostalgia. Family friendly and friend friendly group meals.

First time here, it was so good! My new favorite spot for Chadol Sulung Tang! Loved all the side dishes and soup. I'll definitely be back, although I drove 40 min to come here, it was worth it. Parking is a bish tho!! This plaza is super busy so definitely not easy to find parking... if you get tired of circling, park across the street at Ranch99.

Been wanting to come back since theres no galbijjim places near us in sac. Came around 6:30 on monday, was busy but once our whole party was here we got seated. Ordered the same thing, 2 large galbijjim (115$) both mild level. Mild level was not spicy imo, the squid side dish was spicier than mild lol, still good flavoring. Service was honestly not that great, they are quite busy but when we needed things we needed to wave them down every time and they never check on us without us waving them down.

This is 5 Star KoreanThe service here is always satisfying every time I visit, and I've never once had a bad experience with the servers. The food is beyond delicious, so I always order extra to-go when I go there (since it's pretty far from my house). Of course, there are places selling the same food near my home, but I make sure to drive a little further just to eat here. The quality is simply on another level. The side dishes are so tasty, and the meat is excellent.I noticed that non-Korean customers always order the Galbi-jjim (braised short ribs), but I always get the Seolleongtang (ox bone soup). When I'm starving, I order extra meat, and if there are leftovers, I just pack them up. The parking lot is quite spacious. However, there are stairs, so it might be a bit difficult to get inside if you use a wheelchair. If you are craving Seolleongtang, Yukgaejang (spicy beef soup), or authentic Korean food, I highly recommend this place!Today, I bought the Seokkeo-Seolleongtang (mixed bone soup), which is packed with nutrients from boiling the bones, hoping it will help my daughter's fractured ankle heal faster. I also got the Yukgaejang to give her a little spicy boost of energy! Did you know this place is open 24/7? It is seriously the best! soup place that approved by Korean.

Came here craving some solid Korean comfort food and wasn't disappointed. Ordered the Galbi Jjim with cheese (medium size) and a bowl of Seolleongtang. The Galbi Jjim was packed with tender short ribs, and the blowtorched cheese on top made it even better. Portions are generous -- easily shared between two people. The ox bone soup was clean, rich, and comforting, exactly what I wanted. Banchan was solid, service was quick and friendly even though the place was busy. Good spot for late-night or anytime you need something hearty. Will definitely be back.

Sun Nong Dan is a great place for your late night cravings or hang over meal. Open 24 hours so always available. I've been to their other locations and they're all consistent in their service and quality of food. A good amount of seating, but I have been here when there's a wait. Late night eating is usually not a problem. Get their broths or stews, can't go wrong with either. Our usual is the #3 soup and the Galbi Jjim. You can get the Galbi Jjim with cheese - which is quite a show. I prefer it without. The medium size is good enough for 4 people. You can choose spice level and we get medium - it has good flavor and spice, but not too spicy where you can't enjoy. Sun Nong Dan is a solid place and worth adding to your list of places to eat.

Tripe + small intestine. Very good, super big portion.

I've been going to Sun Nong Dan for years. Although I've been to all of their locations, I almost always frequent this one due to proximity. As far as Korean soups go, this place is great. I enjoy the side dishes, and I actually enjoy the fact that I get just a few but they're all good. The radish is my favorite! This spot is generally no frills, efficient service, and not too crazy of a wait. Service is generally quick and attentive, but they're straight to the point and aren't looking to idly chat. I'm a fan of that, personally, so it works well for me. For a solo eat, or a large group, this is a solid spot. The flavors are there and the fact that it's 24/7 is extremely convenient.

Everything we had tasted so delicious and flavorful, even the side dishes that consisted of kimchi, fish cakes, and some chives. We kept asking for more and the employees were more than happy to keep them coming! For food, we got the bossam, sulungtang, and yukgaejang. The bossam arrived on this grill that kept it warm throughout the meal, which I can appreciate. The sulungtang and yukgaejang were both phenominal and hit the korean comfort food cravings. Get the purple rice!! Not to mention they had deals on alcohol too. I believe $5 for beer and $7 for a soju bottle -- cant beat that in this economy! Definitely will be adding this to my rotation for korean food.

The pork is consistently tender, and the banchan (side dishes) are always fresh and high quality. The braised beef was good, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations. It could have been braised longer, and I felt the sauce didn't really penetrate the meat the way it has at other places, so the flavor was a bit lacking. The only real downside was that the older woman working that day was a little short with us. Other than that, the food is consistently solid. Overall, 4/5.
