Was craving their corn Einspanner and came here just for it. So disappointed that they changed this drink to seasonal item only and I had to choose a different kind this time. Since they only have 3 options & the only one I haven't tried was their Sesame Einspanner, I decided to give it a try. Well same consistent texture (creaminess) in the drink here and a decent balance of caffeine to sesame. Could taste a hint of roasted black sesame. I ordered the less sweet version and it was really "less" sweet. For someone who doesn't take lots of too sweet food, I found it to be a little bland, so will go with their regular sweetness level next time. Anyway the best is still the corn Einspanner and I hope they will bring it back as a standard item on menu soon! I know multiple other patrons voiced the same desire too.
Nearby tea spot after walking almost 2 hours at Quarry Lake!! Very cute shop and it seems to be popular, since after my friend and I ordered there were a lot of people that came. They have AC, some seating at the store and a restroom for customers. For ordering they have a kiosk, or you could order up at the front. I love how they have a free picture photobooth! It comes out super fast, on receipt-like paper. My friend and I took a bunch!! I got their wintermelon lemonade at 50% and it was a bit too sweet. Next time I'll get 0%. I decided to let the ice melt in my drink. My friend got their peachmango green tea, also at 50% and it was sweet. They were so kind to make adjustments for her!

This spot is located right in a tiny strip mall in Fremont, right on Thornton Ave in between Paseo Padre & Fremont Blvd, right across the street from Suju's coffee. We ended up getting the taro smoothie with boba. We also got this unique item called croffle, it's basically a waffle with a sweet mix to it. My wife got the Dubai one, my daughter the Oreo one. We also got the p pang, the bacon n cheese. It was good, a different spin on a baked savory item. This spot was busy, I was kind of shocked they only had 2 people working on a Saturday lunch timeframe. I had the bakery/heated up food items take a bit to get out. To me you get a 3rd body in there and you pump out food & drinks way faster and get way more people in/out for a more profitable day, and more return business. Either way we'll for sure come back to get more food and drinks at this locally owned spot.
Went on a Sunday morning and it wasn't busy. Plenty of parking in the lot. Interior is cute and they have a free photobooth with paper printouts you can take home or stick on the wall. It was my first time visiting, and I had a really good experience. I was craving something sweet after dinner, so I decided to stop by. The shop is located in a small plaza with a few neighboring businesses. Parking is a bit tight since the spaces are small, but it's still pretty easy to find a spot. The shop itself is on the smaller side, but there's seating available if you want to enjoy your drink or snack there. They even have a cute little photo booth. The interior is minimalistic, clean, and still visually appealing. You can order at the counter or use the kiosk. I actually liked the kiosk because it shows photos and descriptions of each item, so you know exactly what you're choosing. I went with the jasmine green milk tea and added sea salt crema -- it was super good. The flavors were well-balanced, smooth, and had just the right mix of tea and milk. The crema was delicious too, perfectly sweet and salty. They also offer desserts and some savory snacks. I'll definitely be back to try more of their drinks!
One of my favorite coffee/matcha spots in the South Bay/East Bay! It's very unassuming, and what I would say is the definition of a "hidden gem"! My favorites are the corn matcha, corn einspanner, and the pumpkin beverages when they did have them. The ambiance is casual, cute, and grab and go style. The service is usually quick and transactional, the employees don't engage much but they're usually busy. My only riff with this place is that there's no where to set. They have a few crates as seats for sit on while you wait, but this place seats no more than 6-8 people max. More than half the time, I have to wait outside, or place a pick up order so I can grab and go quickly. Just a small detail, but one that would make this place even better if they had more seating.
New Spring Menu dropped, and the Sesame Hojicha is absolutely amazing. Creamy, nutty, and pairs perfectly in a combo I haven't tried before. Also on their spring menu is the Berryberry Hojicha - will definitely try that one next time! There is also a fun photo printer to take pictures and post on the wall as well.
Sooo yummy! Our drinks ran on the not sweet side, so I would not recommend getting less sweet! Otherwise, matcha flavor was strong in both our drinks (pistachio matcha & matcha with matcha cream). I personally am a big fan of pistachio flavors, so I would highly recommend that one. There is also a photobooth that prints immediate pics for free!! Will definitely be back.
This milk tea place has a lot of different things to offer. I really like their strawberry matcha latte, it is deep green and very flavorful. I also tried the 10 won pang, filled with taro. It's crunchy and didn't taste too sweet. Service was fast. Ordered from the iPad stand. I will need to come back and try the ein spanner, and the different croffles. But it's a long drive, so maybe next time when in the neighborhood.
Chachacha (99% tea house) is tucked away in a quiet plaza full of other tasty foods I am yet to try. It's a perfect spot to try with friends and family and I constantly see people trickling in. Located on the outskirts of Fremont this tea house has cute decor (crates for tables) and a small Photo Booth you can use with friends or solo. I've gotten the banana matcha multiple times it is really what blew this place up, if you're looking for something on the less sweet side this matcha latte is for you. I have noticed some barista to barista availability and unfortunately that was on me for not going back and asking them to add more syrup. Everyone's very friendly and willing to answer any questions about your order. I would love if there was an order ahead option! That is my only feedback. While people come here mainly for the matcha and coffee there is a sprinkle of people coming in to try the other fruit teas. Overall love this place and wish it was closer to me hahah
Parking was pretty easy. It's in an outside plaza. It has a variety of fruit teas, milk teas, matcha, and more! They have a super cute photo printer too. I ordered the Mango Matcha Latte and it was good. I got regular sweetness and less ice. The mango was good. My friend ordered the pistachio matcha latte. It was really good as well. read more

Recently dropped by to collect a reward through their rewards system. This place used to be called "99% Tea House" and yes even the signage outside still says that but it is indeed ChaChaCha. In short, the drinks were pretty solid, but it's just in an awkward location that's not really easy to get to unless you live in the area. L O C A T I O N ChaChaCha is located in a small plaza a little ways off of Fremont Blvd. on Thornton Ave. with shared private parking for the places there. I found a spot fairly quickly. The shop still says 99% Tea House so look for that instead of ChaChaCha. I N S I D E It's a very small shop. Just a small area to sit. They have an ordering kiosk near the front and they have a photo area that prints out black & white images. M E N U They have a variety of drinks. A bit all over the place with a few drinks under each category, but they do have just standard milk teas which is what I got. Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with Grass Jelly - To be honest, I didn't really feel like it was an oolong. I didn't taste it, but for a milk tea it was good and the grass jelly was also good. My hubby said his Tiger Black Milk tea with boba was good. The boba according to him was the medium sized boba which he didn't mind. S E R V I C E It didn't take too long to get the drinks. There was pretty much minimal interaction with the staff there except for getting the drinks. I easily paid by touchless payment at the kiosk. O V E R A L L If I were in the area and needed a milk tea fix, I wouldn't hesitate to come back. They have a good variety of drinks that may be a good or bad thing. To me it makes me curious. They are located off of Thornton Ave but a ways down from the 880 exit. They're relatively close to the Billy Roy's burger so grab a boba afterwards. This is a cute little spot in central Fremont. We stopped by here because I mentioned that I haven't had the 10 cent bread, and my boyfriend said "Really? Let's make a U-turn so you could try it!" So we did that lol. We ordered the hojicha banana einspanner and the banana matcha. Both are not overly sweet, which I prefer, and the flavors are on point. The banana and the matcha flavors compliment one another well. Service was pretty quick too. We got 10 cent coin with mozzarella only, and it was hot and crispy on the outside, sweet and chewy on the inside, kind of like a mochi waffle. It was super good! Oh another cute thing about this place is that they have a little photo booth box where you and your loved ones can use while you wait, free of charge. We took one and taped it among the many on the wall. read more

I went to ChaChaCha around 1 pm on a Tuesday. I got the pistachio Matcha and it was absolutely incredible. It's one of the best pistachio cream tops I've ever had from a storefront. I remember trying this place maybe earlier this year and I don't know if it's the drink I got. I think it was a Dubai chocolate latte but I thought it was just okay so I think they've improved since then because wow I drove from Santa Clara and it's definitely wort the drive. the matcha was perfect and the cream top was perfect. It even had crushed pieces of pistachio on top. I didn't want my drink to end. I was sad when it ended. I was able to find parking right upfront but I could see parking being kind of difficult during rush-hour. Can't wait to come back! read more

I just ordered a lotus croffle togo, it had burnt marks on it like the waffle maker wasn't cleaned beforehand from the croffle made before. It tasted bitter and was so disappointing. I just hope everything else is cleaned properly. read more
I have been waiting for a corn latte in the bay and ran to 99TeaHouse when I found out they have a corn einspanner!! Im not going to lie, it pales in comparison to the previous ones I've had. I do love the presentation and it is not overly sweet, but the corn flavor is not very strong. This spot is still super cute and I love how they have croffles and cheese coins in addition to their large drink menu. They have a free little photobooth that really make your visit special. read more
Another overhyped IG spot. So much went wrong I don't even know where to begin. Came in on a Sunday and it wasn't busy at all. The cashier rang up the first 2 people and then went to make drinks. She made eye contact with me but didn't direct us to order at the iPad (located to the right in the corner where it's hard to see) or acknowledge that she'll be right with us. It was kind of awkward. We ordered the cloud 9 drink, the one everyone on IG gets, brown sugar einspanner, black sesame einspanner, a passion fruit tea, and the waffle. The cloud 9 is a hot chocolate and torched with marshmallow fluff on top. In theory this would be delicious but the marshmallow was thick and overwhelming. The worst part was that as the line got longer it was clear the staff couldn't handle the orders. My drink came out and no one called it out. I wasn't going to be the one to interrupt and ask if it was my drink, I figured out other drinks will come and I'll practice my patience. But being that I was the only one that got a hot drink, after 20 minutes my drink got cold. The worst part was that with the torched marshmallow doesn't allow you to put a lid on your cups and as it sat out, customers repeatedly touched my open drink (one little girl even breathed on it). Soon there were quite a few drinks ready but no one was calling them out. People kept getting up to touch the drinks/food trying to figure out if it was theirs and the store got more crowded. No one was labeling the drinks so the sticker machine printing out labels got stuck as more orders were being placed. It was chaos. Lastly, they ended up forgetting my friends drink, the waffle was cold and no one liked their drinks. We were over it and didn't want to wait for it to be remade. They definitely need better training on customer service and bar flow. read more

This place is called ChaChaCha but the front of the store says 99% TEA HOUSE. Was confused if we were in the right plaza for a bit. Inside is cute and they have a Photo Booth machine that prints out the pictures right away in black and white. We mainly came for that so it's a good attraction to bring customers in! You can also paste your photos inside the store in the wall. I got the kumquat fruit tea that comes with aloe Vera and basil seeds. I got that less sweet and it was still pretty sweet to me. It also kind of tasted watered down a bit. It was refreshing but I'm not hate if I would get it again. Wasn't feeling the drink too much. They also have corn einspanner which is different from other drink places. They have a small seating area. The menu overall has a good variety of different types of drinks. I would come here again to try a different drink! read more
Drawn in by the aesthetics but let down by the quality of the drinks :( considering myself a victim to the decor and IG hype Sadly, Cha cha cha's drinks disappointed me. Recommended at 50% sweetness and 70% ice according to the menu, I got the oolong milk tea with those measurements and my friend got the dragon fruit tea. Both my milk tea and her fruit tea tasted diluted with little tea flavor. I also believe 50% sweetness and 70% ice were not good recommendations for those drinks as they made the drink even more diluted. The blue and white stripes & decor of this place made for a cute theme. The photo booth immediately prints a cute paper picture. When entering, you are immediately greeted by the counter area in front with small crate stool chairs on the side. I've been to ChaChaCha before and I thought it was okay because I went in for the cheese 10 won ppang and they were sold out. I gave it another chance since I saw that they had matcha. A couple of friends and I got the matcha and the cheese with corn 10 won ppang. The 10 won ppang did not disappoint, I wish I bought another one lol. Their matcha was also really good, I got the matcha ein spanner. I like the little photo booth they had near the entrance, I thought that was cute. The overall vibe of this place was cute. The service was pretty fast since there were 7 of us that ordered something from the kiosk. This is a nice place to get matcha, boba, dessert with friends! read more

sometimes us broke sleep deprived single young people want to stuff our faces with sugar and caffeine to ease the pain. chachacha is an above average slightly overpriced place to do that! location - plaza near sujus. tiny shop, probably will have long lines idk i came during wknd evening and it was fine. photobooth right at entrance so you can uhh show off your face card? (mine declines) service was good but drinks came out interestingly fast. i think they premake the hojicha and matcha so that may be an ick! also no nondairy milk options i think. wow i can already hear the lactose intolerant girlies sobbing and ripping their hair out! sesame hojicha $7.5 - lightly sweet cream, on the grainy side. strong sesame taste that kinda overpowers the hojicha, i wish the tea was stronger ngl 8/10 dubai croffle $12 i think - wow i feel so trendy eating this, time to eat a labubu next! anyway it was a bit too sweet for me but otherwise not bad! lots of pistachio and kataifi and nice texture of croissant 7/10 oreo croffle $9?? - also too sweet and the cream was kinda weird tasting BUT there was a whole oreo on top!! in this economy!! anyways 6/10 overall not bad but maybe their matcha is better. also i noticed they use loquat coffee for beans yay go local!! read more
Seasonal drink "On Cloud Nine" which is an EARL GREY HOT COCOA WITH MARSHMALLOW FLUF!!! All caps because I was so excited about this drink and it did not disappoint. Honestly the best drink I've ever had in my life. I got it with oat milk, and it was perfect. I also got an Oreo croffle but I dropped it on the floor of my garage as soon as I got home :( need to return again next time. Definitely younger crowd vibe, but the workers are friendly. Found this place on Instagram and thought we'd try it out after work. The first time we went, we got the Pistachio Matcha Latte and Banana Matcha Latte. The Banana latte was great but the Pistachio one lacked the pistachio flavor and just tasted like matcha. Overall, great drinks, 8/10. The second time we went, we wanted the croffles, however, it was unavailable, even though we went right when it opened. Wish we could have tried them :(. The service was okay, they didn't speak to their customers besides calling out the order. The decorations were cool but I'd probably pick a different spot if craving a drink or a waffle. read more

I ordered the strawberry smoothie and would give it a solid 3/5. The texture and flavor leaned heavily into a yogurt vibe--both in taste and mouth feel--which isn't really what I look for in a smoothie. It wasn't bad, just not what I expected. That said, the boba I added definitely helped save the experience. Chewy, sweet, and added a nice contrast to the tangy smoothie base. Overall, it was alright, but I'd probably try something else next time. read more

Exterior was warm and chocolate-y and crunchy Corn Croffle: tastes exactly like the pop cereal! Delightful sweet treat Corn Einspanner: one of their most popular drinks. If u like corn! nutty butter Einspanner: not a coffee drinker but I loved the topper for this! A little earthy a lot of nutty ! Strawberry Crunch: love the crunchy aspect they add in but u gotta drink this fast before it gets soggy. 10 won ppang : I add in cheese and bacon super cheesey and makes for the best cheese pull. Great little snack. I also tried the Nutella one which was so yummy. Kumquat Lemon Green Tea with Basil Seed: if u like tart drinks, this is the one !! Super tangy and refreshing Peach mango green tea: refreshing for my fruity drink lovers Taro Strawberry: puree strawberry and taro ! Came to check out the viral 10 won cake and realized they had Dubai chocolate croffle too. The 10 won cake is pretty good. It's like a mochi waffle with choice of fillings. The Dubai chocolate waffle is what makes me want to come back. Generous amount of pistachio butter + kataifi fillings. The chocolate is the cheap chocolate though which is too sweet for my taste. The croffle itself is the same dough as the 10 won cake i think. It's crunchy and chewy but one bad thing is it has a little salty taste to it. Yummy lattes! I've been thinking about an einspanner latte ever since trying one in SoCal, though not a lot of coffee shops in the bay sell them. I just so happened to be in the EB and found this place through Yelp and I'm glad I tried it! I ordered the nutty einspanner ($6.75) which was creamy and decadent, with a hit of nuttiness from the chopped nuts that lined the cup. The cream was thick and not too sweet, (I ordered less sweet) and the espresso tasted great. The shop is small, trendy and cute with a few indoor seats. The barista was warm and welcoming. I'll definitely come by again to try other flavors! read more

My only mission here was to try the... Corn Einspanner (4/5): The drink itself was good (for someone that doesn't drink a lot of coffee). There's a hint of the corn flavor, and there are little corn bits with every sip. I didn't really know what to expect but I think it was a little underwhelming. Line wasn't long, but the space is really small so it got a little confusing when we stepped in as we didn't know who was waiting for their drinks, or to order, or for a table. We ordered at a kiosk, order took about 15 minutes to come out. Also wanted to try the mini photobooth (?) but it ran out of paper lol. Popular activity here! Tables and seats were also little crates and low tables so def more of a drink and chat kinda vibe. read more

I loved the drinks here! I came to try their matcha and fall drinks, but when I saw the Dubai Chocolate Latte on the menu, I had to get it -- along with a Coconut Matcha Latte. The Dubai Chocolate Latte is a must-get every time. It was sooo good, I'm still thinking about it! My friend got the Pistachio Matcha Latte and the In Sin Matcha Latte. I tried the pistachio one and it was amazing -- definitely one of my favorites. We also tried a few of their sweet treats, and the Dubai Chocolate Croffle was hands down the best one out of the three we got. So good! The shop itself is super cute. There's some seating inside (not a ton), and a little photo booth where you can take pics and post them on the wall. The staff were super friendly, even though it was busy. read more

I found this place on TikTok and decided to come. It's in a small shopping center with little parking. The place is very small so hard to miss. It's a grab and go kind of place. The sitting area are milk crates. I lived that they had a photo picture area for free. I didn't like that there was no cashier you had to do your own order so you couldn't ask anyone questions. The menu did have pictures so I like that. In my opinion it was a little pricey. There was only two workers that were extremely busy. I ordered the corn latte it was okay but probably wouldn't get it again. My husband ordered the Oreo waffle that was good. My son ordered the coin thing which was absolutely delicious. The strawberry lemonade is so refreshing it a must. Overall fun place to try new things. read more

Beautifully decorated cafe with a FREE photobooth station when you step inside! It's super cute. It prints from a receipt paper but loved the concept of it. You'll order from the kiosk and service is fairly quick. We got: Corn Latte - I'm not much of a coffee person but the corn cream on top balances it out. The flavor was sweet and creamy with a hint of corn. Very interesting but must try it. Croffle. Bisoff - I enjoyed this but it has a lot of cream which makes it super sweet. That's my personal preference though, I had to scrape it off because it was too much. However, it was extremely delightful :) read more

Service was better than excellent: I had a birthday reward that the system did not recognize, the store manager honored it. So I bought an additional drink to use the birthday rewards, $5 off. Usually in other stores, sometimes they would be impatient and may not honor it. Did not remember that I had come her before. But I did! Their drinks are not too sweet, and 30% sweetness is really 30% sweetness. I asked the guy what Ein Spanner means, he said coffee. The Spanner drinks were pretty unique. The fresh milk tea and fresh milk were delicious. Panda included 2 toppings. Parking lot was small, around 1:30-2pm, it was easy to find a spot. Will try the waffles next time. Also if you use the toast app, you can earn rewards. Ambiance was casual yet nice. There were few chairs if you wanted to stay and drink and eat there. This place is PHENOMENAL! Ain't no other place can do it like ChaChacha -- where they serve not only boba, but croffles, and more. They're very similar to Smoove Ice Cream down in Milpitas, but with the Korean twist -- and, did you know, they're a local business and they're woman-owned too? (Shoutout to Emily!) My friend and I wanted to try out a new boba place, particularly one that we hadn't tried before. As such, I introduced this place to her, and we decided to give it a try! It's located in a shopping center not far from the intersection of Fremont and Thornton, and rather, it's easy to find the place because it's right next to a Korean restaurant -- fitting enough to be a Korean inspired boba shop! I just want to thank the staff at ChaChaCha for being VERY helpful when giving us their recs, as well as their personal favorite drinks. My friend and I got the Oreo Milk Tea and Nutella Milk Tea, both with boba and less sweetness. I love how even with the drinks, they were able to adjust the sweetness and ice capacity evenly. I could tell from the beginning that their ingredients were natural, and not processed. Best of all, they even had a MINI photo booth in the front of the store, which I thought was IMPRESSIVE. They even had a wall where you could put your printed photos, and you could take however much you wanted. It makes for memories to be created with friends, near and far. I will definitely be back to try more next time, including their croffles!
