Libations menu - April 2026
Thao Cindy T.

Finally got a chance to try this place out. There's ample parking. Ambiance has an authentic Spanish feel. Restaurant is open, clean & spacious, is open and nice. Service was fantastic. We felt their warmth, friendliness and tended to. We ordered the following dishes for 2: *Ceviche sampler: duo shrimp ceviche & ahi aguachile. Preferred the shrimp ceviche. The ahi was a bit too fishy. *Fresh seafood caldo was fantastic with great sampling of fresh shrimp, clams, fish, squid, herbs, light toasted angel hair pasta on a bed of savory saffron tomato broth. The dish was very fresh & flavorful; my favorite. Would definitely come back just for this!! Three enchilada combo came with rice & tasty beans. Libations: Mango-Habanero signature cocktail & Cha Cha's Margarita. Solid amount of alcohol. Chips with salsa - I preferred the red salsa more than the green salsa but both were good.

Big upgrade from our last visit. The manager reached out and invited us back for a better experience so we visited last night for an early dinner. Service was excellent! Coming in early we sat on the patio and really enjoyed the beautiful weather. Ceviche sampler was solid. Everything was pre boiled and a little tough but the flavor was on point after some extra lime. You get a lot for your $$. Cha Cha's food really packs flavor. My wife's salad was so perfectly seasoned and the steak was cooked perfectly. This is one of the better salads I've had in a long time. The Ropa Vieja was the star of the show. Perfectly cooked shredded beef with a beautiful sauce served with their very flavorful rice and black beans. I even loved the smashed, fried plantain on top. Much better than our last visit, I see what the hype is about.

Absolutely love their restaurant week menu. For $40, you get an appetizer, entree and dessert. They do take reservations which is great. We waited a bit for our table but then got seated. I enjoy their complimentary chips and salsa. The aquiles was very fresh and light for a hot day. My absolute favorite is their salmon dish!! Love the sauce they use! It's absolutely delicious and I usually get it with all veggies which is also great! This place is always busy! And they always have specials during the week. Must give it a try! SYOY!

We've been to The Cha Cha's in Brea, much bigger. Our server was Sofia S, very nice and friendly.. I had the Nachos, quite different than most nachos and I ate them all. My husband had the 3 taco's, said they were OK. I had the large Cadillac margarita, excellent "but" if I had know it was $29, would have gotten a smaller one. Our friends were with us and they also enjoyed their meal as they don't have Mexican restaurants near where they live. She had enchiladas and he had Carnitas..

Delicious Mexican food, a beautiful atmosphere, and excellent service! We were very pleased with our experience. The food was flavorful, and the tacos were especially amazing. On Taco Tuesday, they offered a great deal -- 3 tacos with small sides of rice and beans for only $9. Margaritas were around $24-$25, and beers were about $6. The calamari was excellent, and the ceviche was very good as well.

This was my first time despite seeing it for years and I was so pleasantly surprised! The meat was cooked perfectly and it was super tender and flavorful. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and the outdoor patio area was pleasant to sit at.

I forgot to take a picture of the steak enchilada I ordered haha they had a 3 course special for $29. I have the chicken tinga tostada, steak enchiladas, and vanilla rice pudding. It was a great price for the amount of food you get! I didn't really like the red salsa that came with the steak enchiladas but the steak was delicious and tender. I love the ambiance here and the music they have playing. The bar area was fun! Everyone was so friendly as well. Definitely want to come back to try out more items!

Came for happy hour, joined a group of friends who had already been there a while and who had finished eating but were still drinking. We ordered crispy calamari and shrimp and the steak nachos with a pitcher of sangria. Food was tasty, sangria was especially delicious. Portions are small for the price, even considering it's happy hour. Service was haphazard but seeing as happy hour was limited to the packed and noisy bar area, that's somewhat to be expected. Not expected though was our friends' final order of tequila shots to be downgraded and then to be gaslighted by the staff when the difference was noted. "It looks different because it's been chilled," is not a plausible excuse. Instead of replacing the order immediately, a series of people working there were dispatched to give the runaround. Eventually the shots were replaced but by then the dining experience was soured. Those friends quietly vowed to not return, which is unfortunate because the food and drinks are pretty good but if the customer service experience is frustratingly bad, it's best to take your business elsewhere.

It has been a while since we were last here. We had relatives visiting recently and we all wanted to go out for light dinner and some drinks. There were not a lot of places open then, and a few more about to close & so we ended up here. We ordered flautas, aguachile, clams, enchiladas, empanadas, tacos and ceviche. And we enjoyed them all! Our guests are not fans of Mexican food, but they enjoyed it too! For drinks we had a few of the classic margaritas and flavored ones such as mango & watermelon. Beer and soda. Service was good and prompt. And our waiter was nice and easy to talk to. Place is nice with a good casual vibe. It wasn't too loud that our group was able to have a nice conversation catching up with each other. They do have happy hour, but not that day. So check their happy hour and take advantage of it!

My husband and I love coming here! Food and service is always amazing! We are regulars here thanks to Carlos! He never fails to make us feel welcome! Recommend this place to all my friends for all their amazing food and drinks!

Came in for their Sunday $20 lunch OC restaurant special which included a Caesar salad or pozole and an entree of your choice. I went with the shrimp and crab enchiladas and the Caesar salad and my dad ordered the chicken tostada salad. Our server Kim was super nice, attentive, and friendly. For starters the Caesar salad was yummy but lacking in dressing. The enchiladas, beans and rice were just okay. Ended up biting into a piece of shell from the crab and thought the rice had no flavor. The crème brûlée I ordered at the end was yummy, I would have preferred a scoop of ice cream vs this cream that came with it. Overall I found the flavors here to just be mediocre at best.

Cha Cha's was a pleasant surprise. We sat on the outside side of the bar. It would be great to see this place in the summer when the walls are all open. The bartender was quick to take our order and get some margaritas in front of us. The large was a great size for dinner and conversation! We got some guac to go with the chips and salsa. It was good, but we had to get some limes to juice up the flavor a little. The salsa verde was a highlight for me, it was fresh and flavorful. We ordered the crispy shrimp and calamari. It was a big platter, there were only three shrimp and I think it was heavy on the fried vegetables. It was tasty, but the sauces were a little bland. The venue is great and the service was good. Good service, good food, cool location.

Stumbled upon Chas Cha's on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon. Greeted quickly, the host was friendly. Our group of four were seated next to the kitchen which we were able to view. Our waiter was awesome! Very attentive and friendly, refilled anything we needed etc... The food, the green salsa, was so good I could drink it! The tacos, flautas and enchiladas and black beans were tasty. Their prices are reasonable, offering HH and deals such as two for $14. The owner or manager came to check and chat with us, which is rare these days. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. We will be back if we're ever in the area again. They have the huitalacoche (corn fungus) quesadilla that I really enjoy as well as their pupusa loroco y queso. Trying out their Lengua taco and taco jaracho which I have been eyeing for a while. All their food is tasty, made fresh. All bursting with flavor. Salsa bar is probably one of my favorites having literally a salsa made for every kind of taste bud. Don't let the small restaurant deceive you. Small restaraunt but with bit flavors. The tortilla made with the quesadilla is nice and soft but with a good chew to it. Tastes like a homemade corn tortilla versus flour. The cheese is rich and has a wonderful pull to it. The lengua is extremely tender, little skimpy on meat portion, but overall good taco. The jarocho taco which is basically a shrimp taco on a cheese crusted tortilla is excellent. Service is what you would expect at a ma and pop shop. The cashier was patient enough to explain to me what a jarocho taco was and also spoke English which was nice for me. El Habanero is that kind of spot  the ultimate hidden gem. You walk in expecting a quick bite and somehow leave feeling like you discovered a secret the city has been quietly protecting. I ordered the carne asada torta and immediately realized this wasn't just a sandwich  this was architecture. The bread? Perfectly toasted, soft inside with just enough crisp to hold the universe together. It cradles everything like it knows how important its job is. Then the carne asada shows up  tender, juicy, smoky, and seasoned like someone's abuela personally supervised the grill. Every bite releases layers: char, citrus, salt, and warmth all hitting at once. The toppings don't just sit there either they collaborate. Creamy, fresh, bright, and balanced so the meat stays the star while everything else plays the perfect supporting role. The sauces? I'm convinced they bend time, because the torta disappears way faster than logic allows. This isn't just food  it's the kind of meal that makes you pause mid-bite and look around to see if anyone else realizes what just happened. El Habanero didn't just make a torta... they made a reason to come back.

I ordered the garlic chicken to go. However, when I got to work I realized they accidently have me two boxes of rice and and beans. I gave them a call, told them about it, and it was no big deal. I have not visited this center all that often. I never really noticed this Cuban restaurant before. Fortunately, my co-worker requested to go to a Cuban restaurant for her birthday lunch. It's a medium size restaurant with plenty of tables. There's outdated hodgepodge decor, but that's not a big deal. The portions here are great for the lunch specials. Our meals started off with buttery slices of baked garlic toast. Lunch also included a bowl of black beans in a flavorful broth and huge portion of white rice. Plantains also come with our lunch entree. I was debating between the classic shredded beef or classic pork. Since I've had shredded beef at another Cuban restaurant years ago, I opted for the pork. This dish also came with a lot of onions and I didn't care for these since I was going to be in the office the rest of the day. It would be nice to be able to substitute with a small side salad instead. Note, your protein selection is the most important choice for your overall experience at Bella Cuba. I tasted my coworkers, shredded beef and I enjoyed that bite more than my own dish, the pork. I enjoyed the tender pork in the beginning, but after a few bites, the sourness or acidity of the seasoning was overwhelming. That wasn't for me. I wish I would've chosen the shredded beef or possibly another protein. I think I would've been better off choosing the quarter chicken or even the calamari steak. I will return with my family for other entrees next time!

A few of my friends have been telling me about them for years. We placed our order online for pick up. Unfortunately, their tablet wasn't working properly. The manager came out and wrote our order down so we did have to wait about 10 minutes... but they did their best and we appreciated the excellent service. We ordered a BRISKET BOWL $10.29, al pastor taco $2.29, Ensenada fish taco $2.89, asada taco $2.50, FISH BURRITO $11.80 + 1.50 extra for guac ~$13.50, and French fries $3. We were stuffed and our meal was only $35! The brisket bowl was surprisingly good- 4.5 stars. It was nice and smoky, and came with your choice of flour or corn tortillas. We got the flour, but once I unwrapped it from the foil, it was quite dry. The al pastor taco was okay, but very dry- 2.5 stars. The asada taco was not bad- a little dry but flavorful- 3.5 stars. The fish taco was good but not crispy. I would get it again for Taco Tuesday, but Rubio's is much better. The best item was the FISH BURRITO- 5 stars. The fish was tender and the filling was seasoned perfectly, and the added guac gave it soo much FLAVOR! I've got to try their other burritos. We also got French fries and they were pretty good- 4 stars. Huge portion- probable enough for 3-4 people! We were so hungry I forgot to take a picture lol. Would get again. Looking forward to their WAVE WED: Baja fish tacos $2 Baja shrimp tacos $2.50 Shrimp ceviche $8 They also have POZOLE on the weekends. The inside is small but there is seating on the side of the restaurant. Happy eating! Yelp review #2- 2026
