The Ssam Bops are really good. Basically like lettuce wrapped rice, meat and salsa. Our favorite always have to have item is the ninja fries. They are fries made with the Japanese Kabocha squash. Super yummy. Served with the cha saucee which reminds me of a spicy mayo. Tonight I'm having the limited time Spam-o-rito which is spam, egg, rice, cheese, cha sauce, all wrapped up in a whole wheat tortilla. They always drop a bottle of the cha sauce on the table with tHe fries so, I added some of that to my spam-o-rito to give it an extra kick. This place was a go-to for me before COVID and I was finally able to go after they opened again. Parking is available since there is a parking lot right outside. Seating is indoors only, so be wary of that. You can also order to-go or order online and pick up by parking in the designated pick up spots. The cuisine I describe as Mexican American fusion, and it is really unique and delicious. I usually order the Beef Wang, and add the sriracha mayo to add a kick. They also have other fusion dishes like the ramen burger or kalbi beef sandwiches. Huge thanks to the owner's response and his invite back! I was offered a remake of their ramen burger and beef ssam and oh man, it was definitely a lot better. The ramen burger was out of this world! IT WAS AMAZING!! It was so juicy and tender and the ramen was nice and crispy on the outside. The burger was filled with juices and I didn't need to add a lot of sauce to make it taste good compared to my past visit. The chips that came with the burger was also delicious. It was seasoned perfectly and tasted great on its own and amazing with the Cha Sauce. The beef ssam was a lot better and easier to eat. It didn't fall apart this time and had a lot more beef and flavor. I loved that I could easily hold it in my hands. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was absolutely delicious! You know what's funny? I always take forever to try a place out because im so comfortable with eating what i like. Like why risk your hungry stomach and either spend a lot or hate your food.. idk but im glad i finally tried this place out. After a failed gym attempt, my friends suggested coming here for dinner. I ended up getting the spam & egg fries and a thai tea. Both were quite amazing and filled me up. My friends all got different things and everyone enjoyed their food. Service was really good! The girl at the front counter, I forgot her name - she was so nice and sweet. Very clean place, pretty spacious even though from the outside it looks very tiny. Plenty of seats though. Was literally feeling fries that night, so I decided to stop by here since it was close. I ended up to getting their CheeseSteak Fries and their HK Milk Tea Their fries were crispy, had a good amount of steak, but I think the sauce was its saving grace. Don't know exactly what it was, but I'm glad they brought us a bottle of it because I needed the fries to be extra saucey. I wished the cheese came out melted though because I'm not a fan of unmelted cheese. The drink was what I was most disappointed in. Not flavorwise, but quantity wise. Immediately after they brought the cup, I was like, "Did I order HK Milk Tea or a cup of ice?" The cup looked like it was literally 70% ice, which is definitely not worth the price. The spicy mayo makes a superb accompaniment to these fries. *Chicken skewers - Large pieces of chicken on the skewers. The chicken is packed with flavor. However, most of the chicken pieces are chewy. The rice is soft on parts where the chicken rests on top. *Beef skewers - Large pieces of beef on the skewers. These are outrageously chewy and salty. *Poke Rice Box - This was excellent. The fish is very fresh with melt in the mouth texture. The poke is marinated to perfection with nice flavoring. The rice texture was alright, could be a bit softer. *Poke Nachos - Big portion of the nachos and poke! Poke is very fresh and nicely marinated. *Cookies and Cream Frappe - Horrible. I didn't taste much of anything besides milk. Service has been pretty good for all visits. The servers are friendly. They would also ask us if we need anything else. Interior is small but spacious. Heard so much about this restaurant. Finally decide it's time to try it out with my family. We came at a Sunday afternoon about 12:30pm. And the restaurant is not crowded at all. There are plenty of parking in this little mall. We try most of the most popular dishes mentioned in other reviews. The food came prompt and hot. We tried: 1) Ramen burger. A must try for my son. We went to the 626 night market each year to eat the ramen burger. He said that the ramen burger here is equally good if not better. The reason being the ramen here is a little more firm than the 626 market one. It's better to be a bun this way so it won't fall apart that easy. The meat is nicely cook and the veggie fresh. 2) poke nacho Like all other reviewers said the nacho they used is like fried wanton skin instead of typical tortilla chip. More flavorful but a bit more heavy though. The poke is a nice touch on top with their special sauce. Don't expect this poke is like what you eat in those poke restaurant. The poke is just ok, not totally great. The cut is a bit big. But it's a nice appetizer to share. 3) shrimp ssam naps I love this dish, so fresh and refresh. The shrimp is fresh and it's a bit like lettuce wrap with rice inside. Light and fresh dish 4) sampler rice plates It contain skewers of chicken, pork, beef and shrimp. With rice and a side of zucchini. My husband can't make up his mind about what kind of meat, so sampler is a good choice. Very tasty and well season meat. The zucchini is like the pickled kind. So it's very refreshing. I read some people have problem about their rice too soft and sticky. They are using short grain, I believe the Japanese kind of rice which is more starchy. Typical Asian food (Chinese etc) use long grain, jasmine rice. The texture of the rice is different. They use short grain and I believe it's pure a presence of choice. If you are not the kind that like short grain, softer starchy rice. Order another dish. I found it no problem, I love rice, doesn't matter it's short of long grain Will definitely go back and try a few other dishes. Just too full to try anything else today. read more

I'll admit when I first started coming to lunches here I wasn't a fan. That quickly changed when I explored other menu options and realized I just didn't like the Poke wrap from this particular place. The menu is pretty eclectic but all have some sort of Asian inspired twist to them. Menu options range from burgers, salads, wraps, nachos, loaded fries,and rice and skewer dishes. I personally love the burgers. The Ramen burger I have not tried yet, but their regular burgers are quite delicious. They are served on the bread just like the Hawaiian rolls--- yesssssss. The meat is juicy and always taste freshly prepared. I also love the poke nachos! I add fresh avocado to mine and always get a sweet tea with any meals here. PS. you get free refills on the tea, just ask them! :) The staff is super nice and the restaurant is small but usually really clean. I did knock a star off because to me it's not the cheapest place to eat. The wraps and sandwiches come with chips, but if you want to add fries its an upcharge, add avocado to anything another hefty charge. My average lunch meal here cost around 15.... the quality is here but I do find Cha a bit more on the pricier side. read more

The onions and bell peppers were flavorful. And the sriracha mayo ties it all together. Con: -Ramen burger tasted like a regular cheeseburger since the ramen buns were not very crunchy and didn't have a flavor (I think L&L uses some teriyaki sauce to flavor the buns and burger) -Beef wang is not uniquely flavorful in my opinion and tasted more similar to home cooking. Neutral: -Strawberry mango smoothie is sweet, and the strawberry tastes like strawberry jam almost, so I recommend it if you enjoy sweet drinks Note: Most of the items they sell use sriracha mayo as the sauce, so if you love sriracha mayo, this is your place! read more
