I found Cesar's Tacos while I was looking for another taco place in the area. From the minute I walked into Cesar's and seeing all the locals there I knew I made the right choice. I've tried many items but I always come back to the Pollo Tacos. These are true " street tacos". The chicken I believe is stewed and is very juicy. They top this tacos with onions and cilantro. Put some of their salsa verde and you have the BEST Pollo Taco in Dallas. I will never stop coming to Cesar's but I would Like to be able to make these pollo tacos for my family when I visit them in Southeast Texas. Called ahead and ordered 4 steak tacos with chopped onions and cilantro and was advised it would be 20 minutes. When I arrived there were lots of people in line but as soon as I put the car in park I heard my name over the loudspeaker. I picked up my hot plate and ordered a Mexican Coke with real sugar. Upon arriving at my house I opened the package - applied the salsa - took one bite, oh my ! The sounds of pure joy attracted my wife and kids and we had an awesome snack. Ordered the flautas and chicken fajitas. Instead received the flautas an a singular chicken taco (talk about overpaying - $9 for a taco since they messed up and didn't send fajitas). Order barbacoa, fried pork, and pastor.... Barbacoa was all fat, no meat and tasted like dirty toilet water.... literally.... Pastor was weird looking and had bits of Cartlidge which made it impossible to chew, and also tasted like dirty water But worst was the fried pork.... what does one think of when they think up fried pork? Takes forever when you call ahead on a order. They're quick to take your money and slow ass hell for the food. Never again will I even come to the slow rude establishment and the patrons seem to be more panhandling than patrons.. never again and after waiting 45 minutes on my food I get told it'll take another 5 minutes. I ate at the NW Hwy location in Dallas on 12-13-18 @ 3pm. I ordered at the drive thru. I ordered the grilled meat for 1 which came with refried beans , rice, tortillas and Pico de Gallo. There were no prices on the drive thru menu but I assumed the price would be $7.00 - $9.00 as other similar restaurants. It cost me $14.00 which would have been fine for quality food. This food was terrible. The meat consisted of Eckridge smoked sausage which you can buy at any grocery store. It had some very tough beef fajita meat which had a spoiled taste and a few pieces of tablido marinados ( ribs sliced horizontally very thin with the bone in. I couldn't eat much of this. It's now 4:45 pm and am going to El Fenix to get food I know is good and for less money. I'll never go back to this rat dump. I eat authentic Mexican often but this food is slop !! read more

Went here on Saturday and WOW is all I can say! You know if the Hispanics are there that is were you want to be. The food is amazing and I have to say the portions are INSANELY sized. You get a LOT of food for under $10, and its HIGH quality food! I had the super nachos and it would take at least 2 people to finish it. My fiance and I will be back very soon! read more

I visited Cesar's based on an article that i read in the Dallas Morning News and it every bit as good as the author suggested. We tried the super nachos(which we ate on for a full day)3 hot dogs( I enjoyed the cilantro on the side) and the funnel cake. It was delicious. It was affordable, it had flexible hours 24/7. The guy at the window, was pleasant and did seem annoyed with my giddiness over the funnel cake. We'll definitely be back. read more

Tacos are good, but not the greatest. The size of these tacos are a joke, reminds me of a roll of quarters. They definitely hit the spot after some partying, but then again, so do Jack in the Box tacos with a side of ranch for light dipping. Just not a huge fan of these tacos.... I was in Oak Cliff and decided to stop at this taco spot on Davis. Ordered the street beef fajita tacos. The tacos was very tasty and the green salsa was awesome. Not very greasy however it would have been better if they added more cilantro and onions. Tacos could have been better but they hardly put any onions or cilantro else I would have given another star. Next time I come back, I will be sure they put more onions and cilantro on the tacos. The guy that took my order was very friendly. I recommend if your in Oak Cliff to try this place out. They have an array of authentic Mexican food including gorditas and tortas. Parking lot has big potholes so be careful parking especially in small cars. Great lil place to eat, from lunch to after the club they are open 24/7. They have great tacos, tortas and all kinds of things and they have the best lemonade. They may not be the classiest place to eat but it gets the job done. If you are from Oakcliff like I am its a favorite spot to stop and eat anytime. read more

This was in the general neighborhood of a hotel I was staying in on the road, and if not for Yelp I wouldn't have found it. Take away the foundation and this place is basically a taco truck, and that's a compliment. Food was great, like the little corner taco stands I miss so much in Tucson. Plus the staff of basically one (I think there was a cook in back too) was very friendly and helpful. If I ever make it back to the neighborhood, I'll be back. read more

Just got my check cashed AT THE BANK and this stupid place had the nerve to tell me that the $20 I paid with was fake. I JUST got it from the bank. Personally I think they pocketed the money. They STOLE my hard earned money and accused me of a crime. I will NEVER step foot in this location or any other Cesar's Tacos. They are nothing but THIEVES! They've got the best shrimp cocktails around! Also besides the bomb tacos, I highly recommend their quesadillas, fajita plate, and tortas! Their pastor meat is the best in the area, in my opinion. I was so excited to try this place out. However, this place did not satisfy me. The taco plate comes with three tacos, but the tacos are pretty small. The taco plate also includes rice and beans, with cilantro, onion, lettuce(?) and tomato(?). Who puts lettuce and tomato on their street tacos? The beans were not good and the rice tasted like shrimp. All in all, drive about 2 miles down and go to La Paisanita for better tacos. Would not recommend or come back. read more

The pork and the beef tacos were delicious but like many other people said, ask for extra cilantro and onions. The green salsa they give you is soooo delicious!! So much heat but worth every bite. My true first taste of authentic carne asada was way too salty.. and too chewy. I would go back here again because they offer so many options and they are open 24/7 which is great when you work nights. But to be safe I will stick with pork and ground beef for the fillings. read more
