They come with about eight pieces and they are loaded with refried beans, lettuce, cheese, avocado, sour cream, and I always get the red fresh salsa which is very mild, not spicy at all and has such a great flavor. Anyway, Torta means sandwich in Spanish. Gringos don't realize that Mexicans also eat sandwiches. It's not just tacos! So this is a Mexican sandwich shop, right? Wrong! This place has everything. I almost went for the tacos . . . but why would I go to a sandwich shop for a taco? There's a pretty long menu up on the wall, and you order at the cashier. Each taco was $2 and the price is the same no matter what you get, which was nice as similar restaurants may up charge for more expensive meats on tacos like bistec. It also comes with cilantro, onions, limes, and their homemade salsas. Both salsas are great, but I really loved their red salsa as it had great flavor and a little bit of kick too. The other perk of this restaurant is there's a whole convenient store inside so if you want anything to drink or snacks to go with your meal, you have tons of options to pick from and for a good price too. Overall, definitely recommend this place, especially if you live near the Lakewood/Old East part of Dallas!
