My boyfriend and I got the Appletini and Morir Sonando. Both delicious!! Fully satisfies the sweet treat but with cereal. It's a cute little small business that gives you a great nostalgic feeling once entering. Very clean space, warm atmosphere/service, and endless creations!

Loved the place! Tucked away in a corner. Very nice people that own it. I absolutely loved my Captain Crunch Shake. We ordered a crepe with strawberries and bananas and it was divine. We are honestly shocked on how good everything was. Literally only waited 5 mins at most. Check this place out!

Cereal Bar San Rafael

Just realized this place was opened in downtown San Rafael. Awesome crepes and overall concept! Great dessert spot much needed in S.R.

Easy to order but Coconut-Matcha wasn't very good. Asked employee to remake it or add a different syrup and he just poured a lot of syrup and said he doesn't have any other syrup to offer. There's mango and strawberry syrup...

Crepe

Cocoa Crispies and Cookie Crisp with peanuts, chocolate syrup and vanilla ice cream. Yum! The owners are so nice! My friend had a delicious banana, strawberry, Nutella crepe. On my next visit I want to try a Nutella crepe with maybe Capn Crunch?

Cereal Bar is fun. It's something you would never do at home. Colored milk is especially fun for the little ones.

Try anywhere else for sweet treats than Cold Stone, like Double Rainbow…read more I realize it was a busy day, but letting the line stall out for 20 minutes is offensive and I left without getting anything. I don't understand allowing four staff to cater to a single party of incredibly indecisive people, who then wanted banana splits. These are the most time consuming orders to fill. Seeing another 20 minutes before I would get any ice cream, I decided to leave. You give each party one staff, so that you can efficiently work through the line. Literally every modern ice cream place does this now. Hopefully the money the slow people paid was enough to make up for me never coming here again.

The have many suggestions for complete combinations, too. There's always a line--just inside the store...I've yet to see it out the door. But there's so much to look at and you can chat with others so it's not so awful. It's very colorful and vibrant inside. There are a few chairs and tables outside, and none inside. They have a rewards program, pre-made ice cream cakes in the fridge for last-minute parties. So many other "flavors" of offering choices, as well. If you've never had this ice cream, it's fun to try. I've been enjoying it in different locations for decades.

I Yelped ice cream in San Rafael so we couldn't do a stop on our way back to the peninsula. Silbermanns' looked like the best bet because who doesn't love unique flavors and home made quality? We found it, with no problem, and didn't have to wait long on a Saturday, which was great! Our server/scooper was a patient and friendly person and he did a great job explaining our options. We found what we wanted and the flavors were perfect! We both enjoyed our choices: Chocolate Orange Chip and Salted Caramel - yum; Praline Pecan and Marble Fudge - also yum! They disappeared as we sat at the tables outside on a lovely day with dog folks. Service? Perfect! Flavors and selection? Great! And a lovely experience all round - highly recommend!

The first time I visited I sampled the old fashioned vanilla, lavender with rose petals and apple strudel. I fell in love with the Apple Strudel and really hope it's available year-round and not seasonal. On my next visit I sampled the cookie batter and it's my second favorite flavor. The shop is small but there are a wide variety of ice cream to choose from. The staff is nice and made me feel welcomed. It's definitely worth the price.

A few folks outside some inside. This made ordering quick and easy, and the food was prepared quickly; a benefit for us, perhaps not for the business. The place is still attractive and clean, with plenty of tables outside and inside. I did not that, as my last visit, there is no shade really provided for the outside seating, save ONE small umbrella. Ugh - not sure what the issue is, and being it was a sunny day, we opted to sit inside as much as the patio called to us. The inside is nice, too, though, and there is easy access to the soda fountain machine and condiments. There are still self-ordering kiosks, large digital menus, and of course, you can also order through the app (even if standing inside!) or at the counter. We ordered a bit of each - side, main, and dessert! There was a portabella "'Shroom" burger (with a crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses, topped with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun), cheese fries, a mac 'n' cheese, chicken bites, and a Key lime shake, a special offering! Damn the calories, full taste ahead! The food was indeed prepared quickly and served hot. The Shroom burger was my favorite last time, and for taste and texture this time was also delicious and good. The cheeses inside were melty-gooey, and the mushroom crispy. It was, though, much smaller than I remember - it fit within my hand! A con, against the price, for what is a nice option for veggies or anyone wanting a change in their burger. The chicken bites were smaller than expected in size, more like nuggets, but tasty. The mac 'n' cheese was also tasty, but also a bit small for the price. The fries are always good, and in this case, you need to dig to the bottom early on to scrape some of the melted cheese that dripped down back onto the fries. Very yummy. But the best part was the Key lime shake, a flavor I just love (cheesecake is my favorite iteration of this flavor) but this milkshake satisfied me greatly. A little pricier than their everyday shakes, but how often so you find a unique flavor like this! A win! Overall, a solid 4-stars for food flavor and quality, and also for ambience and environment. Price wise, it was about $40 for two of us, so not a great bargain, but given the economy today I have the same financial shock at other places as well. Still, a nice treat and we left happy.

We got there on a Saturday before opening and sat in the outdoor seating area out front. They open at 9am and opened right on the dot. The lady working there was so kind and offered to turn on the fireplace for us. The inside was super cute and cozy, with a French-inspired café vibe. You grab your own silverware and they also have hot sauce out for anyone to take. There are quite a lot of choices, so it was hard to choose just one. I ordered the ham & cheese crepe ($13) and my friend ordered the apple cinnamon & brown butter crepe ($8). We waited about 8-10 minutes, and both were really delicious! The ham & cheese was warm, savory, and super yummy for a morning breakfast meal. The apple cinnamon & brown butter crepe is a perfect choice for any sweet tooth lovers. The serving size is easily shareable too. As someone who rarely eats crepes, the savory one really hit the spot. When I come back, I'm definitely ready to try more varieties...maybe with a friend or two so we can sample a few different kinds
