CenturyLink is by far the least customer friendly cable/internet company I have ever dealt with in my life. I will never be a customer again, nor would I recommend their "services" to anyone! I purchased a minimum cable prism/internet package in September and the internet seemed to work just fine. But the prism tv service was far sub standard to any television service i had ever experienced before. My cable services did not work about every third time I attempted to turn on the television, it required a long, drawn out, ridiculous reboot process in which I eventually memorized after calling to get help a few times per week. Eventually I had it with the prism tv and called to cancel its service. I was over 30 days (about 55) from initial installation, so customer service told me that i would be charged a $200 cancellation fee. I explained that the services from the get go have been extremely poor and sub standard to any competitor that I have personally experienced, I have had a track record of calling into customer service to explain how dissatisfied I was with my prism service. after being transferred over and over explaining the same long story to 3-5 different people finally the last person I spoke to from customer service eventually granted me a credit for the $200 cancellation fee due to evidence of extreme service dissatisfaction. They credited me and months go by, now its May and I see that my credit is almost expended, yet my paper bill and online account says that i have a credit of $64 but also have a balance due of $92. Their bill statements are already confusing enough to try and understand, now I'm seeing conflicting information. So, I call into customer service and get transferred around to 2-3 snarky, rude custer service representatives that absolutely do not sound like they cared about customer service whatsoever, they just sounded like they wanted to talk as fast as they could and transfer me to someone else so I wasn't bothering them anymore. Classic CenturyLink behavior from my experience. Eventually I ask to conduct a customer survey because the initial representative that I spoke with suggested that I do and explain my grievances. The customer service rep agreed to transfer me to an automated survey, but I was transferred to a Supervisor at a Phoenix, AZ location who's first name is Zsaleh (she refused to give her last name). As i began speaking to this Supervisor Zsaleh, I noticed that she was also being very snarky and rude to me, like i had interrupted her doing something and she was very annoyed that i was a customer with any kind of complaint whatsoever, instead of sounding concerned that a paying customer was having so much trouble with the services CenturyLink provides. Eventually after some digging she tells me she found that upon cancelling Prism TV I was indeed charged a $200 early termination fee and then credited twice! Keep in mind that I purchased services in September and cancelled Prism TV in November after very poor service experience and fast forward it is now May. She informs me that she will have to charge my account for the extra $200 that CenturyLink accidentally credited my account even though were 6 months after the fact and it was their mistake to begin with. Arrogantly, this supervisor Zsaleh tells me "yea thats why sometimes you shouldn't dig to deep into these things because you may cause more trouble for yourself". A CenturyLink SUPERVISOR told me that! I couldn't believe the absolute gaul on this individual to gloat at the fact that a customer called in for help and to complain about issues their having with their account billing and services and she turned around and charged him an extra $200. It was like I was being charged just because I was bothering CenturyLink. I asked for her full name, in which she did not give. I asked for her supervisor's name and direct contact phone number and email, in which she did not give because she said that she was the absolute highest authority that a customer is permitted to speak to at CenturyLink. I then asked for a corporate point of contact so I may try and speak with them, in which she refused and restating that she would be the highest level employee that any CenturyLink customer is permitted to contact whatsoever. After exhausting all of my options, I received a confirmation code for the addition $200 charge that would be swiftly added to my account balance. In the end, I told the Pheonix location Supervisor Zsaleh that it wasn't the fact that I've been charged for services, or even double charged by accident, the real complain I have is that the services were very poor and when I called in to get some help the communication with anyone from customer service is an absolute battle every single time. They are rude and snarky on the phone, or transfer me several times requiring me to repeat a long story filled with all of the details of my account, billing and service experience to each and every single person I'm read more
