    Markers for damaged line there for 6 days

    Centurylink offers the WORST customer service of any Internet or utility company. Road construction accidently cut the line to my house 6 days ago (blue stake is the responsible party to contact Centurylink.). The Blue stake request for service was ignored, while Cox and others fixed issues within 48 hours even coming on the weekend. Centurylink crews are not far away as I think they are redoing lines or maybe installing fiber. In 2 days the road will be completely repaved but Centurylink "may" come out to verify that there actually is an issue. Nothing will be fixed at this time. Also, note that I am being fully charged while receiving no service. It is not known when my service will be fixed...one month, two months...

    Worst ever. We get no service more often than service. Buffering is what we pay for.

    WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Been without phone and internet service for 2 weeks. Keep sending out incorrect service technicians.

    We live on the border of Scottsdale/Carefree. We want to get rid of Cox internet and are thinking about Century Link. How is their connection, service, etc?

    Do not use Century Link. They are literally the WORST company I have ever encountered. I'm not saying this lightly.AWFUL. The customer service is always bad. you get transferred 100 times if you have an issue. I've lost service over 10 times so far… Read more

    Has anyone just purchased the internet? I am annoyed with cox.. canceled everything. I do need fast internet. Or at least decent... am I better off just doing internet with cox?

    Be careful with Century Link's promotion " locked price for life". While it is true that the price…read moreis 55.00 for a decent speed it's like pulling teeth to get the full monthly price from their sales reps. Just remember that the price does not include modem rental if you're renting. If you don't rent the modem you will need to purchase one for 100.00. Taxes will probably be 10.00 depending on your city. Also a month in advance payment will be required . So your first month's payment will most likely be ( for the 55.00 plan) 55.00 + 10.00 (tax) + 55.00 + 10.00 (month in advance plus tax) + modem rental 10.00 X 2 for months if you rent. Total first bill :150.00 and that's a conservative estimate. If you're not a current customer doing a lateral change but a new customer there may be an additional activation fee. If you don't rent the modem but purchase it, the first month's bill will be about 130.00 + 100.00 for a one time purchase. The subsequent bills will be 65.00 -70.00 without a modem rental. 75.00-80.00 with a modem rental for the advertised plan of 55.00 a month. Just wanting to help you make an informed decision. It's not a bad plan just a few more costs than you may have realized . Every telecom does this .

A technician came…read moreto install my internet, and I still did not have internet service after he left and had to call them back at least three times. The wiring was laid across the alley floor and was driven over by multiple vehicles, including a CenturyLink technician's truck and a garbage truck, within three hours of being laid. (can't imagine how much beating that spaghetti sized wire can take in hot AZ summer) Furthermore, I was initially told by century link after still not have internet that the technician gave me the wrong router, and another one was shipped to me. However, the technical department later confirmed that the original router was indeed the correct one. All of this confusion occurred within a single day. To add to my frustration, I was charged for this unsatisfactory installation. Every time I call to discuss this issue, I was forced to explain the entire situation repeatedly. I truly believe that any positive reviews are bots. They then sent me a bill for the installation charge for WHAT! I'm still having to argue with them on the daily to get that removed. I did take photos to dispute of the awful job the tech did. please don't call them please save yourself a lot of heartache and distress. Not even worth the one STAR your forced to give
