I've had the experience to deal with many towing companies over the years with many cars, SUV's and RV. This was by far the easiest and best experience I've had! I expected an hour wait, especially being at home waiting for the tow truck. He arrived in 15 min. Super friendly, super responsive and took care of everything. Smoothest experience ever. Sometimes insurance matters as my experience getting a tow through State Farm takes forever, with Good Sam and Central Towing it was a pleasant experience and I made it to my appointment on time despite waiting for a tow truck! So bummed I have forgotten the driver's name, but if the company is paying attention, it was June 5th around 10 am. Thank you!!! read more

Insurance towed my car here and it's been the absolute worst experience. Upon entry, customer service was horrible, nobody cared to greet me or ask "how can they help". Barely spoke to me. Unorganized, unprofessional. You'd be better off going elsewhere. You'll leave with a headache here read more

Our tesla would not start and so we called Tesla service who dispatched a tow truck, no joke the driver was here within 10 minutes. He was super friendly (we forget his name but has a daughter and a baby on the way) but he guessed the issue upon arrival, towed us to tesla service station for repair. We had no issues with the driver/service or experience. read more

After communicating with the owner, Quinn, I have updated my review from 1 star to 3. He was able to explain what happened with the missing tire. Seems like the program needs some improvements, so this doesn't happen again. Idk who, if either conpany is "at fault." I was planning to give a 5star review after getting my Tesla tire replaced yesterday 3/16. However at the dealership they did not have my tire & wheel that your company took and was supposed to return within 2 days! Your company claims to have never done my job/service. You claim to not have my flat tire & wheel. Very suspicious & not trustworthy. I had a flat on th 3/2 during evening commute hours. A man from your company came & took off my flat. He told me it was not repairable & needed to be replaced. He reminded me to set up service appt with Tesla. He was nice and helpful. He put on a loaner Tesla tire. I don't know if he or the company has my flat tire & wheel, but someone is lying from this business. Crooks along with Livermore PD. Livermore PD makes almost $300 dollars per vehicle towed and Central towing makes about $420 plus $90 dollar storage fee per day. I'm sure the prices vary higher or lower (which I highly doubt). I arrived at at 9am with no one available at the yard had to come back hours later. No posted prices tells me they will charge whatever they want. I hope you never have to deal with this company read more

My experience with Central Towing was not a pleasant experience, Matt was rude,disrespectful and condescending. Matt truly gives the towing industry a bad name. Customer service in the gutter. Farmers Insurance and I had a 3 way conversation with CHP and will be talking with LPD tomorrow to report this incident. read more

Worst tow truck experience I have ever had! They told my motorcycle back to their yard after a minor accident and did way more damage dragging it than accident caused. When I opened up my latched saddlebag all my stuff was gone and I Said well I guess that stuff's gone. Immediately the tow truck driver says well I didn't take it. Dude I didn't even say anybody took it Plus it was almost $600 to get it out it was only in their yard for 2 hours I felt totally ripped off read more

Funny, came here because I believe great service deserves recognition. Matt towed my car dispatched from PD. Stored for a day then towed it home for me. He was very responsive, quick and went above to help me in my situation. He offered his opinions and advise when I asked him, and was just a nice person to deal with in a really crappy situation. It's a relief to deal with people like Matt when you're already stressed, and in an awful situation. Thank you Matt! These people are a joke they tried keeping my motorcycle for over two weeks telling me every day that I had to be the one to come down there to get it out even though I was in the hospital and on the 14th or 15th day calling them they finally told me I could get a notarized letter to have somebody else come pick it up for me but still charge me for every one of those days. Our car got a flat tire on the side of the freeway. My insurance company sent Central Towing to tow the car as the spare was already on the car... I'm so thankful they called Central Towing. The driver was so helpful and polite in an extremely stressful situation. One of the best tow companies I've dealt with! read more

They're real thieves these guys. Will charge you "storage fees" only if it's been there for an hour. Just scum.

WARNING - do not trust this company to tow your vehicle - they do not know what they're doing. Typical ignorance or incompetence is bad enough, but coupled with absolute certainty that they're correct (and therefore refusing to believe towing instructions of a dealer or car's owner's manual) makes it much worse. Fortunately for me, these guys merely abandoned me (after showing up 40 minutes late) and I was able to get another company to tow me. I shudder to think what may have happened if they had actually attempted to tow my car. read more
