$150 to diagnose problem what i already knew the problem: ignite Tech came by and sai it wasn't ignite, it was control board and would have to order part and would cost $450 Week go by, tech comes by again and sure enough it wasn't the control board and now it would cost $760 and another couple weeks, but if I buy a new stove range at their store the initial $150 I wasted with their wrong diagnose apply towards the new stove ... only thing is the very same stove at Lowes was half of their price . read more

Central Oregon Appliance is going out of business. It's apparent, with their dishonest business practices and poor customer service, that their business could not be sustained. I've discouraged many potential customers from purchasing through this business over the past 2 years based on my experience. While I don't wish bad on most people, I believe the Bend community will be much better off without businesses such as Central Oregon Appliance. I'm happy to forego the settlement they owe me just for the satisfaction that they won't cause additional customers the issues I've had to deal with due to their mistakes. Good riddance Central Oregon Appliance. Hopefully they'll take their U-haul business with them so trucks aren't always impeding traffic and parking at Planet Fitness. read more

We should give this "0" stars. These people don't know what customer service is or how to run their business. We wanted to use a local company to order a part. When the part arrived, it was damaged and they refused to give us a refund. Our only option was to order it again and now we have to hope it isn't damaged this time. They should never have given us a damaged part. It's simple. They should open the box and inspect the part before they give it to a customer. Don't use this store! read more

Pics/Vids *****UPDATE Aug 1. 2025. Today at 1411 hours the owner of Central Oregon appliance came charging at me to the front of my car where fortunately I have cameras. He screams out my name charging at my vehicle in the Ada handicap parking spot. He screamed at me that that's the only handicap parking spot that I'm allowed to park in and if I park in any others he is going to have my car towed. And he took pictures of my license plates and of the handicap placard in my windshield. No Schick........******* Under city state federal ordinance there are supposed to be two handicap spots per business. One handicap spot for vans in another handicap spot for normal autos. This business is not in compliance with federal and state laws regarding the handicap. The blue handicap painted parking spots have been scraped away, and the handicap parking signs that under law are placed by the state in front marking where handicap parking is were removed. The owner of said store and employees then threatened to take the disabled veterans bike if you kept it locked on the pole and went into planet fitness. All the Disabled Vet did was the employees about why they were blocking the Handicap parking today by trucks and cargo. And blocking the handicap from entering the stores, and removing the Handicap parking sign. The disabled veteran asked what happened to the signs and could you please move the truck and cargo so that handicapped people can use those spots...... They refused....... The owner then proceeded to say and lie that he owned the building and he could do whatever he wanted with those handicap parking spots. He does not own the building he leases space. The property management company that actually owns the property has been notified and confirmed to me how the handicap parking should be. And that nobody should be tampering with the handicap parking spots. Complaints have been filed with the Local, State, and Federal agencies regarding the American disabilities act. By Central Oregon appliance by blocking the senior citizen disabled veterans access to handicap parking. Central Oregon appliance ownership threatened to take away the disabled veterans electric bike if he entered planet fitness as an act of intimidation by the three of them, which is where the veteran was going for physical therapy workouts. The owner then threatened to try to get the disabled veterans membership canceled fraudulently at planet fitness by angrily storming into planet fitness, and steal the senior citizens electric bike if the disabled veteran parked it at the bumper pole that was 50 ft from his store entrance and to shut up and walk away.. The store's owner and employees then continue to disparage said disabled veterans military service to the United States of America. The disabled veteran in question served in the United States Army and then joined the United States Marine corps and retired due to serious bodily injury. I have photos of other bikes locked at the same pole that he doesn't have a problem with because they are not veterans. I have photos from today where his trucks were unloading in front of all the handicap spots and then putting their cargo in those handicap spots to put into their store. While Blocking disabled veterans and the disabled from being able to use those handicap spots for ease of access to the local businesses. Two of those businesses help disabled veterans heal that all the disabled were blocked from. Unfortunately it got to the point where the senior citizen disabled veteran was in fear for his life and well-being and had to call the police to intercede. The police advised the disabled veteran to take the photos of the blocked handicap parking to the city compliance manager.... The owner of Central Oregon appliance threatening said veteran by trying to cancel his planet fitness membership amongst other things... Thank you for your time and understanding. I'm sharing my experience with Central Oregon Appliance so others can make an informed decision. I visited their store for help in selecting an appliance that would properly fit my kitchen layout. Based on their recommendation, I purchased the model they suggested and they coordinated the installation through a third party. After my granite countertop had already been cut to fit the unit, it became clear that the appliance they recommended and arranged to have installed was not the correct model for the space. This resulted in significant inconvenience and additional cost for me, including the lack of ability too cook in my home for 5 weeks. I reached out to the business multiple times in an effort to work towards a resolution, but in my experience, COA refused to work with me to resolve the issue. Because we were unable to reach a solution for my permanently damaged granite countertop and resulting expenses, I pursued the matter through the court system, which resulted in a judgement and court ordered settlement in my favor. To date, the company has not paid the court ordered amount. I am now working with my attorney to place a lien on the business due to nonpayment. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing an appliance to avoid dealing with this company. read more
