Somehow I neglected to write these good folks a review until today when I saw another review. I have a lawnmower and a snowblower both about 5 years old both of which that had never been serviced. The lawnmower wasn't running smoothly and I'm sure that the blade was banged up considerably. The snowblower seemed to run well but one of the cables had loosened causing me to jury rig things. It was time to get both of them serviced and I called Green Tech after reading the good reviews. It was a good call. Tim picked up both machines and serviced both and brought them back. They did good. The lawnmower had an issue when it was returned as something had come loose on the ride back but Tim came by and got it, fixed it and returned it in short order. Good people. I'll call them again the next time I need something serviced. read more

My little battery operated lawnmower decided to die on my just as my lawn was becoming lush and green. Took it to Green Tech and they let me know that my battery was dying (almost dead). They gave my mower the once over, got me a new battery, and sharpened the blade. My lawn had been over two weeks unmowed and the mower did the job. I bought the mower used about 5 years ago and I have been very happy with it. Tim said the tech that worked on it told him it was a very well made mower. I hope it lasts another 5 years. I recently took my non-working Shindawa chainsaw to Green Tech after attempting to fix it myself. They fixed in in a timely manner at a reasonable price and called me to ask me if I wanted to replace the fuel lines which are proprietary to the saw. I asked them how much extra that would cost and decided it could wait. No pressure from them. Got the saw back and it works perfectly. Tim and the technician couldn't have been nicer, honest, or straightforward. I will definitely be bringing all my equipment there in the future. read more

My husband and I were on our very first leg of our cross country trip when our generator on our RV started pouring gas all over the ground. I called around Bend, in desperation, explaining our situation and most businesses were very busy and booked out for weeks. Green Tech was also very busy, but the owner made and exception to our situation and got us right in. Ben, the service tech came out and looked at our generator and, almost instantly, know what the problem was. Ben fixed the immediate problem but, we still needed a fuel pump. Nathan, another service tech went above and beyond to get us a fuel pump. By the following day, we were back on the road with a fully functioning generator. I brought in my reel lawnmower to be sharpened and adjusted. It had been recently "sharpened" but wasn't cutting the lawn effectively. Green Tech was able to service it in 3 days, told me it was sharp and just needed to be adjusted. I was charged only for the adjustment. Thank you for your excellent service and integrity! They got our snowblower running great. They replaced a couple of small dollar items that really needed replacing. They even cleaned the snowblower so well, we didn't recognize it when we picked it up. We have a small lawn tractor we will be taking there for servicing, as well. ZERO STARS....This company is listed as an authorized service dealer on the Troy Built website and that is why we went to them with our brand new mower for service. We were informed by Troy Built after we dropped the mower off that our mower came with a two year warranty for all parts and labor. The owner of the company made no mention of it to my husband at the time and charged him $ 76.00 for parts and labor to change the throttle cable that we didn't ask him to change. Since it failed to work properly after we brought it home, we returned it to Green Tech the next day. When we asked about our warranty coverage we were told that we would have to provide our purchase receipt for a refund when we came back to pick up our mower. Someone else gave us our mower when we returned, took the copy of our purchaser receipt, and told us we Would have to chase the owner down for our refund! I CALL THIS THE "BULL SHIT THE RUNAROUND". Troy Built informed Green Tech that we were due a refund and any business owner who had an ounce of honesty or integrity would have called us to pick up our refund or dropped a check in the mail and this guy has nothing of the kind. We may not get our money back, but you can save yours, because reputation is everything for repeat customers. STAY CLEAR OF THIS BUSINESS IF YOU CARE ABOUT HOW YOU ARE TREATED AND DON'T WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF! read more
