Not only did he do that... but when I mentioned I wanted 10 more bags of soil and 5 more of mulch... and would come back for them later... he took it on himself to go and get all 15 bags in 2 deliveries and to help me load my car. He radioed for help 3 times as the soil was placed high. When most folks had gone home for the night, he made sure to get me the soil and searched for it on a couple of trips. Then he apologized it took so long. Really, it wasn't long, at all. I thanked him and he told me it wasn't even his department. He works in flooring. As I drove away, I saw him helping another family in the gardening section. Kindness abounds. Love Lowes. I continually have positive experiences with them and their team and it made my night. read more

Do not buy an appliance from Lowe's. First install technicians were not educated on what was needed. So unable to install range. Went back to store to get additional valve as instructed by Lowe's technician only to be told this wasn't needed. Associate was completely rude and condescending to me, blaming me for this mishap. When I asked to reschedule for another try, she continued with her bad attitude. She implied it was no big deal to get them out to my house again and is easy. I asked her to do it right then while I was there. Turns out it will be another week. Pissed I bought the range at Lowe's. Will not be shopping there again. read more

This entire company is not right. Not just one store over the other. Anything On-Line is suspect... don't download the app or use any personal info as it's almost impossible to delete. I've been in several times and now question why I even did it. The store I visited on several occasions was very empty compared to its competitor HD . I think I understand why that is. Rude floor people and the prices are not as competitive as they'd want you to believe. My online experience was horrible as well. I bought a kitchen sink faucet on 3/19 and paid $208 for installation. they use Anji and three times they cancelled the installation at the last minute and said they could not find anyone to do it. they said they had already refunded my money but so far I don't see it in my checking acct. I have to schedule with a plumber from scratch. my current faucet is broken and it is a real disappointment that I cannot get it replaced. there is no consideration for my time waiting and keeping the work space ready. read more

This Lowes needs a complete restaffing. The products are fine with competitive prices but the employees do not followup on anything. Most recently, stood in the appliance area in excess of 15 minutes trying to find a sales associate. Middle of the day, not lunch time, and had to go find someone 4 isles over to request they call for assistance. I refuse to spend any more of my money patronizing this store. Total fail. I believe this starts at the top with management. Sad, really, as it could be so much more profitable with the right people and leadership. read more

They never told me I needed to reschedule the hookup within a week and they won't hook it up. This was my second order of a rack that was purchased online and picked up by my son who lives in Bend. Both times, the order was quickly filled and my son easily picked it up. When my son had trouble assembling the first rack, he took it back thinking it was missing a part. The employee who helped him helped troubleshoot the problem, and was friendly and willing to take the item back. Thanks for troubleshooting and taking the time to figure out the problem. Because of your help, he kept the rack and successfully put it together. He liked it so much we got another one. read more

Brian is an angry, irrational man that overreacted to me coming close to a closed off section of the store. I had zero intentions of going beyond the gate, but did need to see something that was AT the gate. He began angrily yelling and berating me for absolutely no good cause. Speaking to me the way he did was 100% unacceptable. No one deserves that, especially not a loyal patron of the store. Please teach your employees not to treat your customers this way. I was having a hard time finding the things I wanted and I asked several employees, they seemed lost as well. They sent me on a wild goose chase, and to be honest, I think they were new. I wish they'd train their staff better. I actually approached the manager to ask if he knew where the items were that I wanted, and finally found what I was looking for, albeit it took me nearly 40 minutes to find the stuff I wanted. I recently went to Lowes for a utility cart. I asked one of my kids to hop in so I could see how it would be to use with weight in it, like bark, dirt, or whatever. I figured a 90 lb kid would be a good test. Yes, I get it; it's not a playground. But didn't figure I was hurting anyone. So, of course, this was fun for the kids, and I ended up just pulling him to the checkout in the cart. An older Female cashier said, "Lazy," and shook her head at us. I thought she was joking and laughed it off. As we were leaving, she said, "You should be ashamed of yourself." I said, "Rude," and that I didn't appreciate her judgment. I REALLY don't need to be Mom shamed at Lowe's for making a boring shopping experience fun for my kids. And for the record, we're in great shape and get LOTS of exercise. The opposite of lazy. 1 star because there are no negative stars I do not recommend Lowe's for online ordering, they have been a complete nightmare for me. I have spent a great sum of money with Lowe's and am upset about how they handle online purchases. I had a HVAC company come out and in order to save a bit I ordered a circuit breaker online, it got here the day before the electrician showed up,, not a new working circuit breaker.. they sent a very used one with one of the switches broken off, cost me double from the electrician,, THANK LOWES!!! For Christmas (On November30) I ordered a OccoDome security camera,, , I still have not received it, I called them 3 times and each time was told it would be here Monday.. its Dec 31 and still no item.. they will send me a refund but not the item.. Do not buy anything from this store!!! We bought a top of the line washer and dryer on July 26th 2021. We paid cash and we picked it up. The dryer's motor has gone bad after less then 20 using. We have tried to call the store numerous times for two in a half weeks. On hold for hours only to be told to call back later or they are short staffed. Finally after talking to 2 supervisors. We were told that the can't do anything to help us because it's been over 30 days and we didn't use a Lowe's credit card for the sale. We called a repair person on our own. He said this dryer was way to new for any problems. And felt awful to charge us. We reach out to Lowe's one more time. We told them that we are returning the dryer to their front door. Whatever you do, DO NOT GO HERE!!! NO MATTER WHAT. There's plenty of other places who have more than one brain cell. I have only had HORRIBLE service. Every single person is rude and stupid, we have tried to get multiple things here and it's always a struggle. We ordered flooring online and it took a week longer than promised, as well as when we went to pick it up customer service took 45 minutes to find it and check us out for god know what reason. The stupid older women would not ask for help even when she had no idea what she was doing, finally someone came to help and they were just as unhelpful. This is extremely upsetting for me and for the company, I actually use to work at a Lowe's distribution center, I loved my job and it was very organized, clearly they don't care at all about their customers service at all. We're in the middle of a home renovation, so I'm here or at their competitor almost every week. I like Lowe's better for large appliances, plants, and general know-how. The manager in the appliance section knows everything about washers, dryers, stoves, fridges....he is an appliance nerd and I so appreciate his advice! We bought everything for our place from him. Their garden section is very impressive too; really huge and they have so much variety. Their plants look healthy and I didn't see any bugs. We also used Lowe's for our carpet installation. As far as product goes, they didn't have a lot in the gray scheme. They carry mostly beiges and browns. But the customer service was amazing and they matched a free installation deal we saw at the competitor. Also, when it turned out my carpet was damaged in transit, Paul, the manager, really went above and beyond to work with me on a solution. The My Lowe's system is brilliant because now I don't need to worry about receipts. It tracks all your purchases for either future reference or to make returns simple. I love it. I feel like the staff at Lowe's knows way more about their product than the staff at the competitor. Their advice is obviously from experience, whereas the staff at the orange big box store seem like they just work there for the money. Unfortunately, sometimes the competitor carries the product I need. But Lowe's does a better job overall. read more

Really poor service. Unfriendly and slightly confrontational. I was greeted by the person in the returns department with, "you didn't buy that plant more than 30 days ago did you?". Hmm, interesting greeting. Having been living in Bend for about seven months this is the first rude, unprofessional encounter I've had. Grateful for the majority of friendly people that make up Bend. There just not at this Lowe's. I didn't get the Manager's name but she had pink hair and a hoodie on. She basically told me to shop elsewhere. Either she was having a bad day (which we all have, I get it), or she was poorly trained, or she just doesn't have customer service skills, or she is forced to enforce poor policy and doesn't have the authority to make customer based decisions in the moment. Either way, really disappointing experience after having shopped here multiple time in the previous months and spending hundreds of dollars each visit. The reason for a two star vs a one star review is that the do have a nice indoor plant selection, which I will miss as I will be shopping elsewhere. read more

I don't normally shop at Lowes as I prefer the local mom and pops. I started by going to Sears in Bend, closed, maybe for good. So I went to the Redmond sears, open, but didn't have what I wanted, then the Madras sears, closed to. Enough driving, we went back to Lowes in Bend with my elderly mother. She found what she liked, great price, free delivery. Robert that helped us was knowledgeable and extremely patient. Please see the attached picture of the $30k in receipts we spent this year at Lowe's. We remodel homes and of course Lowe's wants to be the "place for pros". Whenever we order online and come to pickup it takes an hour for someone to get our materials. They can never find our account. Using the LAR is like asking the cashier to walk on water. However, we are willing to deal with that and continued to spend money there trying to build rapport. However, what pushed us over the edge finally was when we purchase a high end stainless appliance package during one of their sales. We explicitly stated we will not be taking delivery or installing the items until our floor is done. Fast forward until now and the fridge doesn't work. We open the microwave box and it is damaged. Frigidaire told us to talk to Lowe's and Lowe's said to talk to Frigidaire. So guess who is holding the bag? Lowe's said "but you didn't get the extended warranty ". This is not worn out or broken down. This is brand new still never held a gallon of milk fridge. If you look at my other reviews you'll see almost all 5 star reviews. I love Lowe's for many reasons. First, their isles are much wider than HD's and the building is better organized and cleaner. The staff are super friendly and know their stuff as well. My wife and I recently decided to replace a broken dishwasher. We were under no pressure to buy by any of the staff there and they answered all of our questions without being pushy. Super pleasant experience. We decided to pull the trigger on one of their on sale washers (special Black Friday pricing right after Halloween) and were advised to forego the $150 installation charge if you're the slightest bit handy. The salesman told me exactly what it required to switch the old one out. Thank you for the tip! Delivery of the new dishwasher was free and when they arrived they spotted I had left the waterline connection / elbow adapter on the old machine so they took it out their truck and took it off for me. Fantastic experience. I recommend Lowe's to anyone who is in need of hardware / home improvement needs and wants to be treated well. read more

Bought a washer and dryer at night went to pick up this am. Lowes bend. Called ahead to have appliances pulled. Arrived as they were pulling products. Employee Bree disgruntled that we asked them to be ready for pick up in 15. Which they pulled off fine. They were loading outside while I was in line inside. When she and another employee came back in, she proceeded to complain about my husband, not knowing or caring who she was venting in front of. Really unprofessional. I really wanted to like the Lowes in Bend, after being less than impressed by the nearby HD. I just get more frustrated every time I go there. Final straw was trying to buy a shower door from them, instead of going to their competition. First, it appears they don't stock ANY. OK, I can special order this standard off-the-shelf item. I went in armed with the store part number for exactly what I wanted, and knowing it had to be ordered I went to customer service. They sent to me the special "you will now be ignored" desk in the middle of the store and paged someone to help me. 15 minutes later, on this very NOT busy weekday, with a bunch of their employees milling about, I finally asked another person to page someone for me. Nothing. I started messing with their computer, figuring maybe that would get some attention. Nope, many employees milling around avoided eye contact. I finally flagged down another person that told me customer service should have been able to do the order, but at least this guy helped me. He had one helluva a time entering the order, and when I said I would pay for home delivery, that caused even more trouble. Then I had to wait in line in customer service to pay for it. After about an hour I finally left the store with a receipt and delivery date. I got a message on the scheduled delivery date and was told it wasn't there and they didn't know when it would be there. Several days and calls later, I have a delivery date a couple more weeks off, putting this at about a month, assuming it arrives then. They have NO clue as to what they are doing there. Definitely not my first issue there when trying to get something that is out of stock in the store, which is most everything. And don't get me started about their sad garden department stock. read more

If we could give a 0 we would. I had Lowes send out an employee Diane Busack to measure our bathrooms for a full remodel. This was around May June 2018. I spent a few hours with this person showing her materials and what not for the type of work I wanted in both bathrooms. Fast forward and it is now October 2018. We have yet to get an itemized cost list of how much our budget needs to be for the full remodel of both bathrooms. I called Diane Busack who had come out to measure the bathrooms, and she informed me she had had some health issues, and this is why she had not emailed me the total cost of the remodels. I understand this can happen, but when I asked her to send the itemized cost of the bathroom remodel, and she said she would email me the information that evening, but she NEVER did, it indicates that for some reason, our money and our business does not matter to her or Lowes. I walked into the store and spoke to the assistant manager, a male, and he said he would get to the bottom of what was going on. He took my name, phone and email, and said he would make sure we had the cost information we needed that evening. We never heard back from him again. We then went back to Lowes again and spoke to the floor manager a few days later. He said he would have the manager of remodeling call me that day, but she never did......Bottom line, Lowes sets the tune for how the remodel will go. Their lack of care, interest and customer service makes us leery of ever using Lowes for any remodeling or supplies. I am sure like their corporate HQ, which we called, they could care less. We will NEVER recommend Lowes again. They have lost our business. What I have found is that many, but I will not say every single employee of Lowes, seem only to care about job security and a pay check. They are absolutely not customer oriented, not unlike their HQ. read more
