These guys have made the process of painting my home much less stressful than I thought it would have been. They are fantastic! Their product suggestions have been very helpful and delivered with complete patience. They will assist with any question I might have with knowledgable responses. They'll take heavy purchases out to your car for you. They even fixed a broken part on my paint sprayer for free when I was right in the middle of painting and needed to get back to work right away. i had always heard of Miller paint and the previous owner left some touch up paint and seems to work fine. I thought i would try them for a shed. I went into the store and nobody out front, no biggie. An older man emerged from the back and just stared at me. No hello, no can i help you, nothing. I said i was interested in some paint but wanted to know the price. He asked how many gallons and I said 2. That was it, he couldn't care less. Didn't ask what kind or quality just quoted a generic price. I asked if that was the budget paint, good quality? He said mid. Ok, how much for the good stuff, and it was over $90 a gallon. Ummm, nope. I thanked him and walked away. No further comment, grunt or anything from him. I'll never go back there. I would like to buy local but not if I get treated that way. I went off to Lowe's and got some great paint at a great price. What a shame! read more

This is not a bad review of Denfeld Paint, at least it's not intended to be one. We have purchased from Denfeld in the past and were very pleased with their service and selection. However, currently their selection of available products is not good. They can, and will, gladly order product for you but you can go online yourself and get it both faster and cheaper. Not some knock off replacement either, the exact same product. And with free returns from online retailers, not to mention home delivery, I'm afraid Denfeld is not able to compete when it comes to anything other than large volume paint orders. read more

I was trying to match a paint color in my home and called the Miller Paint in Lake Oswego where the paint was purchased to see if they could look up the color from when the paint job was done in 2016. They took the info and said they'd call me back. I was impatient and called Denfeld's since that is where I would go to get the new paint, and had the pleasure of being assisted by Chuck (I'm sorry if I got his name wrong). I told him of my situation and he patiently looked through the system with the bits and pieces of info I could provide and said he found it from 5 years ago! He said he'd have it ready for me that evening. In the meantime, the LO Miller called back and told me they couldn't find any of the information, even though I gave them the same info that I gave Chuck. Clearly Chuck is magic. I picked up my paint same day and I owe it all to Chuck! Thank you so much! read more

First, I have to say that I generally give this store good marks, as we are fans of the Evolution line of Miller Paints and I find their salespeople generally helpful. However, I was recently looking for an exterior stain color to match what I had used earlier from Minwax. I was told they did not have that color, but they could match it with a better brand. I picked up the matched stain that they produced and foolishly started applying the stain to my trellis without first testing it to make sure the match was correct. I just assumed the color match would be close, but did not expect it to be perfect. The original stain that Denfeld was to match was a mid brown color. What they gave me was a very dark, almost black/brown color. I worked hard to build that trellis and to stain it a particular color that complimented our home colors. Denfeld's sloppy color match turned a beautiful mid walnut color trellis into something borderline black. read more

I've shopped for paint at Denfield Paints for over a decade. I always was satisfied with the selection, quality, and in store service I received. I purchased paint for my home several years back. The paint had a long warranty. The paint was professionally applied by a 3P contractor. When, after several years I needed help in pursuing warranty support from the paint manufacturer, I was absolutely blown away by the care that Chad at Denfield's put into helping me. In a world of big retailers sometimes with poor customer service, I just was not thinking that Denfield's would become my advocate and plan, work, schedule, show, and represent the paint that they had sold me to the paint manufacturer. But they did all that. I could not be happier with the outcome. I'll buy all my paint from Denfield's, whether it is 60 gallons of paint for my home or a pint of stain for table.
