What a great store! I was in the area for work and stopped in on a whim, but if I had this store where I live, I'd definitely be there often! A little bit of everything for your farm, homestead or garden. There were so many things I wanted to go home with, but kept it minimal. I was greeted politely upon entering and the cashier was super friendly, asking for advice on gardening... to the point that she took notes on my recommendations. I don't live in the area, so I'm not sure how their prices compared to averages for Bend, but coming from Alaska, the prices were really good. I've always had a great experience at Wilco. My primary reason for visiting is for horse feed and the online order to drive up makes it a breeze! Super easy process and it's almost always ready within just a few minutes. Seems like they are going out of business. Shelves aren't well stocked. I always hope that I can pop in and get what I need but rarely happens. Most time I skip and go directly to ACE, Home Depot or Lowe's. Today stopped in for deck screws and had one small box in white and was almost $5 more than Lowe's. I don't know what corporate wet wipe thought taking away the livestock feed cards and putting in an "interactive display" was the way forward but they are a literal pinecone with dial tone between their ears. Instead of grabbing my card and heading to the front I stumbled through a dumpster fire of an app that upon making my selections could not print up the ticket because "too many popups" whatever the literal fuck that means. This is after waiting five minutes for the person in front of me to get so sick of this trash code to walk away as well. Wilco, you've never been a good store, but now you're a dirty diaper sitting in a hot glovebox. I've been pushing for my wife and I to go to the irrigation store in Redmond for their cheaper and better feed, thanks for securing the win for me. read more

Had What I needed at a better price than other box stores. Employees were helpful and friendly.

I like Wilco and do a lot of business there, mainly equine and dog feed and supplies. For those of you who purchase equine and livestock feeds, you've used the system of grabbing a card showing what feed you want, they scan it at the register and then you pick it up at the loading dock. Simple system, pretty foolproof, fast. Not anymore. The cards are gone and now they have a computer for you to use. I mean, sounds reasonable in this day and age, right? It's a mess. I went in a few days ago to pick up some supplements (50 pound bags), feed, salt blocks. It took probably 4 or 5 minutes to work through everything, I was done and hit Print (you print it and then take that to the register) and ... nothing. So a Wilco associate was walking by and called another associate to help me, since I obviously didn't know what I was doing. This associate was not very computer literate. Instead of the 5 minutes it took me, it took at least 10 frustrating minutes of watching her work through multiple screens and layers of options to find what I needed. Geezuz, it was painful. I had to step in several times because she was making it unnecessarily complicated. But she got through it and hit Print and ... nothing. She commented that this new system did not work very well, that "corporate" told them they had to use it, and that I should just go to a cash register and tell them what I needed. So that should be pretty simple, right? You guessed it ... Wrong! I knew exactly what I needed but since I didn't know the code they had to search for it. And search, and search. It turns out these registers aren't designed to do that efficiently. After another 10 minutes of very painful interaction to find TWO items, when the associate at the register asked if there were more items I needed to get I said no. There actually were more items I needed but I couldn't take it any more and the line of customers wanting to check out was getting pretty long. I'm sure Wilco will fix this at some point or they will start losing business. But even when they fix it, remember that this computer will serve one customer at a time. Which means there are times you get to go in and wait for someone else to finish up their order. And I really hate to stand around and wait. Let's blame it on those corporate guys who come up with big ideas to bring us into the modern world. Big ideas that sound good but don't work very well, or at all. read more

Now, just to be clear, I like Wilco and shop there weekly mainly for equine and dog feed and supplies. But recently I bought some wrangler jeans that , after wearing a few times, had a problem. Wrangler left out a rivet on a rear pocket and it is ripping out. So I asked Wilco if they would replace it since it was clearly defective. The answer was they would only replace it if I had it less than 30 days and it was in new condition. Whattt? I had to wear it before I saw there was a problem and if there is an obvious problem Wilco should not be trying to resell it! I'll toss the jeans but am disappointed with Wilco's reply. Also, I still like and will buy Wranglers jeans, have never seen this problem before. Although in the future will be inspecting rivets and stitching, can you imagine that? read more

I will never take my lab to Wilco for grooming again. It took over a month to get in and I was told when I made the appointment that she was the only groomer. When we picked her up, Karen said that she is obese and was leaning into her. I explained that she is on phenobarbitol for her epilepsy and she has gained weight because of it. She went to get our sweet dog who usually loves everyone and she was trying to get away from this lady. Our dog couldn't get out of there fast enough. I believe she was mistreated because our lab usually adores anyone who pats her and when we got her home she seemed unusually sad. I have never posted a negative review because I never want to hurt anyone, but I don't think this person is a dog person and should get another job. I'm just mad that I still tipped her. read more

Took my dog in for grooming. First time he was there 6 hours no phone call about why. Next time 5 hours again. Very unhappy everywhere else 3 hours or less. A phone call about what was going on would have been helpful. By the way not my dog. Excuses were equipment failure and lack of help. read more

Way over priced overall. The do have good sales, occasionally! So the only time I shop there is when I see a good sale!

I have shopped at this wilco for several years and always enjoyed the service. In the last 2 months this location has taken a severe decline in all aspects. They are constantly out of stock of several products for weeks on end, the customer support and care is horrible. I called to ask about a product that's been out for a month and the rudest lady answered the phone gave me a short answer and hung up before I could even ask when they plan to stock it again. I Will definitely will be taking my business to costal from now on. what a shame I can't even buy local I have to drive to a different city. so sad Wilco do better. read more

The Wilco store is GREAT! Their dog grooming... well- the new groomer is not good at all. We have had exceptional grooming here in the past but now this department has brought on someone new. We were charged twice as much as our previous visits. only to come home to discover that our dog was not even bathed properly. There was a horrible amount of dirt left under her coat, next to her skin,her beautiful feathered tail was "chopped" . The trimming g on her legs and paw were not complete so she is slipping around on hardwood floors.the list goes on... We called the grooming department but never received a response. Now we are out of pocket an enormous amount and left to find a differed groomer to repair the damage read more

Until a month or so ago this was known as Round Butte Seed. That company was bought by Oregon based, member owned, cooperative agricultural company Wilco and so the Bend store has a different sign out front . We've shopped at Round Butte for years (which astoundingly never had a single Yelp review) and on our first trip in today since it became Wilco found it to be the same friendly people and the same great farm, feed, seed, and garden items as under the old name. Today's trip into Wilco was to buy rabbit repellant and deer repellant so the little darlings (said through gritted teeth) might be discouraged from using our wild bird and butterfly supporting perennial garden as their salad bars. A ongoing battle. We seem to loose it overall, in particular every spring when a doe or two decides to park her fawns in our yard who then go on to much everything in site, repellant or no. Wilco also sells all kinds grass and wildflower seeds which work well for Central Oregon's dry, high desert climate and our short growing seasons. You can also buy fertilizers of all kinds and feed for farm animals from cows to horses to chickens. Also seed for wild birds and, yes, even feed for rabbits and deer if you really want to encourage them. But trust me, they'll come eat your yard without investing in special feed for them and in spite of investing in repellant to discourage them. Farm implements can be found here too, harkening back to the days when Central Oregon was more farm and ranches than the chi chi restaurants and boutiques that have grown up with the tourist business. And this may be one of the best local sources for the materials to build livestock pens. I wonder if I could rope up the deer and put them inside one? read more

We love the groomers here. Our dogs feel comfortable and come out beautiful every time. We have two poodle mixes and they cut them to our liking and not necessarily a poodle cut. We also enjoy the store itself and the yard/animal supplies for our little farm. read more

I have to update. The experience was and has been a little traumatizing for our puppy, and the groomer could of handled it a little better by at least informing us what had happened when we picked MJ up, however, Kate and the management staff at Wilco have really stepped up to resolve the issue. We took MJ to Wilco because they did such a good job the first time. So I still give this grooming 1 star but Wilco deserves 5 stars for resolving the issue, showing honest remorse, and concern for their customers. Thank you Kate. read more

I was happy to learn that Wilco would be moving toward the east end of town, which is about 6 miles closer to me than the previous location. The store is much larger and has a whole range of products that weren't available in the smaller store. You might wander around a few minutes looking for someone to help you locate a product, but they are exceptionally friendly and full of suggestions. I'm pleased to continue shopping at Wilco. But it is not all roses. The "member card" which -- come to find out -- doesn't get you any discounts whatsoever is useless for consumers; instead, it just gets you a lot of junkmail in your mailbox and email box and allows the company to track your purchases in exchange for, essentially, nothing. read more

Normally I love this store, the people are great, the items stocked are awesome too. But...since they've changed to the chip readers check out really sucks. It's lost its joy completely. My card works all over town but Wilco and only occasionally. They have ABSOLUTELY no resolution, they won't manually input the number either! Who can't do that? Only Wilco. We have yet to be disappointed at Wilco. Their pet grooming section is amazing! We've been taking our dog there for his haircuts, nail trims, baths and more since they opened. I called to inquire about purchasing a palate of dog food. Was transferred twice and sat on hold for 10 minutes before finally hanging up. Wish I could say this was the first time I'd had horrible customer service there. Also find it disgraceful that they forced Purina to not allow Oregon Feed and Pet to carry their products but then only carry a handful of low end Purina products. This last interaction is the last straw. I won't be back! read more

Merissa did an incredible job grooming my malamute. She was kind and professional and knew how to work with a difficult breed like a malamute and he looks so good! i took my dog to get groomed. they completely shaved him off, including half his tail, and cut out his eyelashes and whiskers which was completely unnecessary. he was pretty matted but even cut out the hair on his head. i specifically told her not to give him a "poodle" look on his face and she did exactly that. he looks so bad. i will never take my dogs here ever again!!!! read more

Regarding the complaint I lodged against the groomer who I witnessed striking a dog in the face with the razor on August 31, 2015...Apparently the management team viewed the video from the cameras they stated had been installed in the grooming salon and I cannot say what they saw or didn't see but the groomer in question is still employed there. I have done what I can do so at this point my only advice is *** Buyer Beware *** to all who use this salon and to not leave your pets there but rather wait and observe the grooming techniques utilized there. Apparently it is within Wilco's grooming guidelines to strike a dog in the face with the razor if it reacts to the pain of being shaved. I for one will not shop this store again. read more

I just came from Wilco's grooming dept where I had an appointment for which I waited at least two weeks. When I arrived, the groomer told me that I'd missed my appointment by an hour. Okay, one of us screwed up, but I'll stand by my record. I explained about the long wait and also my drive across town to get there in the snow. She had as much warmth as the icy roads outside. She made a lame apology and refused to offer a solution. She made no attempt to reschedule my dog or offer any solution. I will not return! read more

I had he best experience with Lori the groomer. She shaved both of my long haired cats in order to get them ready for the Summer heat. She was fast, friendly, & did an excellent job! I'm so disappointed in this store. I went in at the beginning of the pandemic and everyone was doing great: customers had masks on, and so did the workers. I came in tonight (September 5th) and even though all the workers has masks on, nobody was mandating the customers and their masks. A couple came in and were checking out at the register and had no mask in sight. People behind us had lace masks. You could see right through them. That mask had absolutely no purpose. Most people with masks had them pulled down when talking to others: that defeats the purpose! I'm not trying to be a Karen but we are in a pandemic so maybe the employees could actually mandate the customers masks. I didn't feel safe during my trip at this store. So here's a suggestion, if you're having such a problem with people entering the store with no masks maybe have employees outside and make sure everyone who enters has a PROPER mask on. The groomers in Wilco are professional and caring of the pets they groom. The groomers are video taped so customers can be assured their pets are taken care of. The complaints lodged again one of the groomers was completely unfounded and border's on harassment. I will continue to use this service. read more
