First-time visitor despite living in the neighborhood forEVer. What a hidden gem! Walked right in, no wait (ok, it was Monday before lunch), and the manicurists were so sweet and pleasant. Not a massive collection of colors, but I found exactly what I wanted. They did a beautiful job (standard pedicure, for $18), with a nice long pumice-stone scrub-down, and I noticed the technician cleaning the basin directly afterward. Lovely employees, good hygiene, and an impeccable pedicure at SUCH a good price. Central Nails will be my new go-to pedi place! read more

Let me start by saying that I really loved my white/pink acrylic fills. They did a fabulous job and they only charged me $19 which I find to be great for fills. However, as one other post commented I looked over by the pedicure chairs and there were nail clippings everywhere! Not just where one lady got up and they didn't have time to clean or something, looked like days of clippings. I am contemplating going back to get another fill because I was really happy with my nails but I would never ever get a pedicure here. read more

My nails looked like i went to walmart!! the owner was rude and wouldn't listen to how i wanted to acrylic nails! i asked for them to be thin and she said don't come back and complain when they break! all in all my nails look like shit and the owner and her employees talked shit about me and my friend. read more

The secret is out. This is the best mani pedi in town. I've been going here since my wedding in 2000. They get you in and out fast and the results last for 2-3 weeks. They are all well trained in the latest. read more

I found Central Nail via yelp reviews, so I'd like to pay back the favor. Tonight was my third visit, and I already feel like a regular. The place is certainly no muss, no fuss. It is located in a strip mall-type area in one of the "spottier" parts of Arcadia, so you probably wouldn't just stumble across it. I highly suggest that you seek it out. The business has been around for about 15 years, and the women who work here are excellent. They are very friendly and efficient, even having their own system where they rotate from customer to customer sometimes to minimize wasted down time. My nails have been beautifully done. I'm able to go for up to three weeks + before a fill. This is also the very first place I have ever had a set done where my nails don't hurt for hours or days afterward. I don't really need all the bells and whistles that many nail places provide. I just want good service for a good price, and their prices are excellent! They could even charge much more for what they do, and I'm sure there would be no complaints. If I had to point out anything negative, it would be that they are not always exactly on time as far as appointments go. Still, they know when a customer has to wait and make up for it accordingly. Central Nail is awesome. You cannot go wrong with this place. read more

This place is consistently great - $35 for a mani/pedi and the results look fantastic. The atmosphere is casual and it's nothing fancy, but it's clean, everyone is friendly and I'll keep going back! read more

Walked in on an early Saturday afternoon no one was there I was greeted and sat right away I wanted the gel taken off my toes a pedicure and a manicure I asked the lady that was taking the gel off my nails a few questions she never responded when she was done removing the gel for my toes I asked her to file my nails better and another lady came from behind and was like what can I help you with she doesn't speak English I'm like well I figured that because I've asked her three or four questions and she doesn't respond when I asked for someone that spoke English the lady that was taking the gel polish off my toes got an attitude so I asked to just pay for the gel and I left never did they say oh we're sorry or we apologize we can fix it. read more

Home of the 40 minute pedicure. My boyfriend and I went in this morning for pedicures. Place is a little hole-in-the-wall, but it's clean and service was very friendly. We loved the foot and leg massages and never felt rushed. Very relaxing. Only $18 for a pedicure and $12 for mani. read more

Very impressed and will Definitely be calling this "my nail salon" came in to get 2 broken nails fixed that I just had done a couple days before. I wasn't 100% satisfied with the way the previous gentleman had done my nails but they were not horrible. They owner ( who is amazing and super funny! ) wasn't impressed either with the way my nails were previously done and re did the full set for free. I love when owners take pride in their business and work hard to keep their reputation of good business!! read more

I stumbled upon this place while I was looking for a new nail salon near my office and boy am I glad I did. I waited until after my second visit to write a review because, you know, maybe the first time going there was so great just because it was my first time. Wrong! This place has been great each time I've gone there! The owner is very personable, speaks to everyone who comes in, and has great conversation. Ben is also extremely friendly and has done my nails the last 2 times for my SNS/powder dip and they have lasted 2.5-3 weeks each time and look amazing up until it's time for a color change! I make an appt before I go in to make sure I won't have to wait if they are busy, but even when you're waiting, they are on the ball with soaking your nails, etc. to help prep for when a chair is available to be more time efficient. And each time I go in, the customers in there are all happy and are repeat clients who the staff is familiar with, which speaks volumes for how their customer service is. I highly recommend you check this place out if you haven't already! read more

I went to this place two days ago for the first time and must say that I will come back for sure. Lucy did my acrylics and since I am very picky with my nails must say she is very good. I will go back to this place definitely. And its close to my place also. read more

I dropped in based on reviews since I didn't have time to get my fill and pedi in Tucson earlier this week. Nice ladies with quick but detailed fill and pedi. I will come back if I'm in town. Nothing fancy, just a nice little nail shop. read more

Do not go to this salon! They overcharged my card twice (changed the tip amount) and refused to refund the money. The gel manicure was peeling off the next day too. Don't waste your money and go somewhere else. Terrible costumer service. read more

Really enjoyed my spa pedicure with Dee. I had been going to one of the vietnamese nail places but the nail techs talk to each other in vietnamese and don't always pay attention to what they are doing. I've been nipped a few times. I felt really good and enjoyed the peacefulness here. Will definitely make it my go to pedicure place. read more

I needed to go somewhere close by home so I decided to stop here despite recent negative reviews. I was able to start my pedicure after about 10 min of sitting which is fine. Pedicure was decent. The massage chairs aren't too good and the hot towel was not hot at all. My water was hotter than the towel smh. The basic pedicure was $22 though which is around average price I guess. The lady took her time and did a decent job. On to my nails....after my pedi i waited about 45 min to get my nails done. Then when i sat down she went immediately to putting the tips on. She didnt even shape my cuticles or nothing. Then i got almond shape. She was fast and made convo but the nails are so thick they look like dinosaur paws. So i go to pay and she says $70...this was not a $70 job. $22 pedicure, $5 for shape, $12 for gel, & $30 for full set PLUS a $1 charge for using a card. I honestly could have drove the 45 min to my original nail salon in Surprise and pay cheaper for a better job. Also, some of the gel polishes dont have the match for regular polish if youre like me and get regular polish on toes and gel polish on nails. read more

I have been to many nail salons over the years, lets be honest there are tons of them all over the valley, on almost every corner. Central Nails always does an amazing job. My nails looks great and never seem to chip. The atmosphere is welcoming, and they are very attentive. I will be back. read more
