The place is professional, clean, friendly and accommodating. I would recommend it to anyone in search of a mani or a pedi. I go there consistently and have always been happy with their product and I am hard pressed to find anyone else who can do such a quality job. read more

Staff is always wonderful . The salon is clean and sanitary . I recommend Susie, Lucy, or Lee, but all the staff is wonderful! I have been coming here for 4 years, and I will not go anywhere else! Give them a try , you won't be disappointed! read more

Gel nails that chip after one day for $30? This is the worst manicure I've ever gotten. Even when it was freshly done it was lumpy, spilling onto my fingers, and didn't even reaching the cuticle bed. The man who did my nails was friendly, and I'm sorry to leave a bad review, but people should be forewarned that their GEL manicure will barely live out a week from this place. I want my money back. read more

Central Nails - Horrendous gel manicure. Would not recommend this business. - Nail Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Had my nails done on Friday somewhere else that I've gone to for years but hated them - went to have them fixed this evening after class. I love the people at the new place and she did an awesome job! I'll definitely be going back to Central Nails read more

Nice, clean nail spa. Love that they use individual liners in the pedi chairs. Owner has great personality. We walked in around 11:30 on Sunday and saw a variety of requests come in. Each was handled happily and efficiently. I had a luxury pedi and gel mani. They matched my nails and toes perfectly. Will definitely drop in again next time I'm in town. read more

Love this place. It's clean and the staff have great attitudes. Once my gel manicure changed color from pink to brown overnight (no fault of the staff, I looked online and learned it was a problem with the specific shade of the brand of polish) and they took care of it for me the next day without issue. My nails always look great and I laugh the whole time I'm here. read more

Central Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Disappointed with the quality. Came as a walk in and they took me right away for a fill. Guy was nice very quiet. He went to work and it was pretty bad. Nail polish all over my skin he wasn't going to fix. One of my nails had broken off and he just put a very thin layer of powder over my real nail. It was super weak and I pointed out he said no it's fine.. um no... Next day on vacation two of the nails broke including the thin overlay. Didn't even want to come back to ask them to fix. read more

Suzie and her staff are amazing and always take care of me and my mom! We go every two weeks and love the atmosphere. Central nails is a cute shop located in a great location at 32nd street and Indian School rd! Don't miss out on getting yourself pampered she's on the west side of the big strip mall down the end near Fredricos Mexican food!!! Go in and see suzie your nails and toes will thank you!!! read more

I tried this salon for the first time this weekend. I went in for a pedicure and gel manicure, and as I was one of only two customers, one lady did my pedicure and another started my manicure. Susie, the nail tech, finished the gel application. They were all very friendly and efficient! I was in and out in under an hour. Prices were very reasonable, and they also give a "punch card" for $10 off a service after filling the card! read more

I'm soooo happy I came to this nail salon and found the best nail tech ever!!! Please go see Linda!! She will not disappoint. She is very creative, artistic & a perfectionist when doing your nails and she makes sure you are happy with your results. I've always been hesitant about getting full sets because no one has met my standards and now that I found Linda, I am never seeing a new nail tech! Love her and my beautiful nails! read more

Well after a terrible experience at the nail shop across the plaza I ventured back to this salon. The wait was long but received the BEST pedicure ever!! The lady was sweet and took her time. Definitely going back read more

Very good service! Good price! The owner will interact with you and make you laugh! I def recommend this nail salon!

Great experience & attention detail. However, upon paying, I was charged $5 for buff (expected) & $7 for gel removal (4 nails I had peeled off). Interesting that a $12 mani becomes $24. read more

Sooooooo awesome! Suzie and all of the ladies at central nails are the super bestest! We have fun singing and dancing and getting nails fixed. Just basic colors, but the service is way more than basic. I spring for the full deal $50 pedicure and they do not skimp on taking care of me. read more

Family owned, super nice people. Loved my nails. Came in on short notice and hey helped me out!

I've been getting my nails done here for awhile. Suzie is great and has such a fun personality. Lucy is awesome too. The reason that I'm only giving two stars is cause the last three times I've had my nails done (SNS) has been awful. There have been new people that truly don't know what their doing. I was really disappointed the last visit cause the person admitted she had no clue how to do the dip and really left my nails looking awful. Also, the owner was aware this, cause she was telling her what to do, and she did not do anything to fix the situation. I really should have requested my nails be done right, but I had already spent two hours dealing with the untrained employee. To top it all off the employee wanted me to give her a cash tip rather than put it on my card. It was to much. I unfortunately won't be back. They can train the awful techs when customers are not paying for nice nails. read more

Ok, I went back to central nails to give them another chance since they are really nice people. The fact their nice hasn't changed but the quality of their worked as became even worst than my first visit. This time I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure and an eye brow wax. To start with my manicure the colors were very pretty however the nails were not painted all the way, some of the sides were left unpainted and to make it worst the gel started chipping within a week. My toe nails were painted unevenly as well with some area's left unpainted, the with some area having only half side having 2nd coating of polish which my two years old can do! Going to my last issue My eyebrows itched for a week and had bombs all over, which I've never had happen at other places. so for all of this reason I will not be back to this salon. read more

See all

You walk in to a homey feel and a nice welcome. I was a walk in and only waited 5 mins. I didn't not catch the techs name but she did a superb job doing my nails. She was gentle and fast. She did them exactly how I wanted them done! I will absolutely come back! I think I found my forever home for nails! read more

My roommates and I came here for birthday pedicures. It was honestly the most fun birthday! The pedicure was amazing! The owner got the karaoke machine fired up so we could sing. Central Nails honestly has the most fun atmosphere. I would highly recommend this location to anybody who wants to look good and have fun. read more

I've gotten my lashes done here twice. The lash lady is always so kind and she even remembered me from a few years ago. My lashes always look awesome and I always get compliments on them. Central Nails - Awesome job!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I had a wonderful experience here! They did a fabulous job with my nails, and were amazing hosts. Very welcoming and offered us drinks while we waited. Suzie was so fun and made me laugh a ton! I got the dipped nails and I am so happy with how they turned out! read more

The owner of this place doesn't know how to manage appointments! Every time my daughter and I make an appointment, she makes us wait 30 minutes-45 minutes. She takes walk-ins before appointments. Today was the last time I will ever step foot in this place! The place was packed and I don't think she's supposed to have that many people in her place, considering the circumstances these days. Never again! read more

I read all of the good reviews and decided to give this place a try - and I'm a little confused about all the hype. I've been twice now, to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they disappointed both times. The first time, my nails grew out terribly and were so ugly by the 4th day (this doesn't happen if you get a good gel mani). The second time was just a couple days ago and my gel is already chipping!! The deceiving part is that my nails looked great the day of, but they definitely don't last. They're also not good at doing easy Pinterest inspired designs (and by easy I'm talking about a couple of lines). read more

Nice friendly people. They do a good job, but I feel I can go other places that are a good for a little cheaper cost. $49 for a regular pedi + gel mani. However, it was very laid back, a sweet owner and welcoming staff. It seems from the reviews that even when they're a little more busy, they're welcoming to walk-ins!! Definitely a place to check out if you're nearby and in need of your nails being fixed. read more

Best nail shop ever. Quality service and super funny, friendly owner and nail techs. Prices also very reasonable.

Visiting from out of state and stopped in for a man I and pedi. I will say that I was very satisfied with the results. The staff was accommodating and very nice. Needless to say that if I lived here this would be my nail salon of choice! read more

I was in town for a conference with a friend and we had time to kill so we decided to get our nails done. After calling a few local places, we landed on Central Nails because they were open later than most, had great reviews on Yelp and had availability to take both of us without prior appointments. The salon is a decent size, clean and was very busy with customers. We later learned they would be closing this location soon and moving two doors down in the same strip mall to a newly renovated location. I was quickly seated for my gel manicure and my friend was asked to wait briefly. The gentleman began filing my nails and was very polite. When it was time for color, I told him the number of the color I selected and he could not find it on the shelf. He walked through the salon, stopped by another manicurists station (of which I could see she was using a similar color) and then returned to tell me they didn't have the color. I asked if the other woman was using it and said I didn't mind waiting- he continued to tell me no, they didn't have the color and that I needed to pick a new one. I was confused, said I really didn't mind waiting for the color I wanted and he rolled his eyes, said ok they have the color and sat down annoyed as we waited. RED FLAG! The rest of the manicure he was rather rude. After finishing two coats of color, he was ready to apply the top coat but I could see splotchy color blobs all over my nails and politely asked for another coat. In the end, they were still splotchy and have already started chipping 1 day later. After a short wait, my friend was also seated for her manicure. She chose a Perfect Match color by name that she always gets at the salon near her home and is very familiar with. When her manicurist (Suzy) began applying it, she could immediately tell the color was not the same as the name/brand on the bottle. RED FLAG! My friend picked a new color, Suzy began applying it and after two coats decided the nails looked shitty and needed to be soaked off and redone. The rest of her manicure was a disaster and she finished with uneven paint, bumpy nails from filing with the electric tool and rough edges. Throughout the manicure, Suzy was rather inappropriate with constant cursing and sexual jokes. Surprised to see how many great reviews this place had after experiencing it. I would not recommend. I hope when they move to their new location they're able to get their stuff together! read more

I got a gel manicure and it started peeling in less than a week.

I've been to central nails twice now and it's such a hidden gem! I used to regularly get my nails done at a fancy north scottsdale salon which I couldn't walk out the door without spending $60 or more. I couldn't be happier with the service and results I got at central nails and you can't beat the prices. I do wish they had a larger variety of colors but that's my only complaint. read more

Central Nails - Gel manicure from central nail (my nails were already very short and they did the best they could at shaping them) - Nail Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

They were able to do a gel manicure and spa pedicure on short notice/walk in basis. They were friendly but unfortunately the male nail tech cut so deeply into my cuticle that it bled for about 30 minutes while he was doing my nails. He tried to stop the bleeding with super glue (or something like it) but the bleeding started up again when he was applying my color. I thought he was going to throw the bottle of polish away after he finished with me (since my blood was now on the brush that he used to apply the color and now, in the bottle!) but instead it went back on the shelf. I doubt this happens often but I won't be going back. read more

Great job with the nails and AWESOME service. They took their time with me and my friends. Even though it was almost time to close we did not feel rushed. The staff is funny they even started singing karaoke this makes a pleasant atmosphere. Will definitely go back read more

Way too overpriced paid $80 not including the tip for your something I would've paid no more than $65 maximum somewhere else. They are nice but that's about it! I literally had to walk this girl through the process of doing my nails and ask her to shape them right at least 10 times. She kept making every single nail the same exact length (except on separate hands they were different ) when in comparison to each other they should be different lengths.. For example the pinky nail should be shorter in comparison to the middle finger and that was not the case! I ended up having to go home and file my thumbs that were laughable because one was so much longer than the other. Never going back.. I kept thinking I'll take what I can get given the time being but I'd rather let my nails fell off which they probably will soon read more

Worst place ever. Really people? Cheap products, dirty tools, expensive. I learned from this experience to read the bad reviews first rather than the good ones. They'll tell you the truth. read more

I went here because I wanted to try a new salon and I'm glad I did. There was no wait time and the staff was very warm and friendly. I had a pedi and a full set, both look beautiful. It was $25 for a full set with gel and $21 for the pedi. I highly recommend Central Nail. read more

Great job and friendly service!! My mom needed to have her nails redone after going somewhere in Kentucky to try acrylics for the first time. She hated them. So when she came to visit me in Phoenix, I knew I had to find a good place that wouldn't turn her off from getting her nails done ever again. I'm so happy I found Central Nails via Yelp! They did an amazing job with a French tip gel polish on her natural nails. I also had French tip gel done for my natural nails and spa pedicure. read more

So pleased! It was Friday after work and in the style of Elle Woods, I required a manicure after a long, stressful day. I called three of the highest rated salons around this area and all of them were booked up. Not Central Nails! They got me in immediately and did AMAZING work on my gel manicure. They had my favorite Netflix show on to boot. Love it! read more

Simple, clean, great work on my pedicure. I found this place on yelp (of course), and I sat in the chair looking around trying to figure out why it was different. First, I noticed that all the customers seemed to know all the workers and vice versa. Maybe it was just a nice neighborhood I thought. I eventually got to talking with the person doing my pedi, Kim. I told her I found the place on Yelp. And I read her the reviews - so I asked who Hannah was - "over there" she said. "She's my sister." "In fact, we're all sisters." Ohhhh this is different. And then she told me they'd been open 15 years. That's way different. These are trained people. BTW, I wrote this review months ago, but Yelp just told me I never finished it. So here it is Yelpers. I like it! read more
