This place is amazing! Highly recommend! From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out Suzie was EXTREMELY nice and not once did her smile leave her face! I have nothing bad to say about this place at all. read more

I have several reason why I chose this nail salon. It's very large so people are not on top of each other. It's very clean and C.O.V.I.D SAFE! They have Plexi glass between you and the nail tech. I have Asthma so I am always aware of a clean place even before C.O.V.I.D Thank you Susie for making me feel comfortable and safe. Sevina O. read more

I have had a difficult time finding a salon in the valley that I like. I've been to salons in Phoenix, Tempe, and Scottsdale searching for that perfect one. Well let me tell you, this is THE ONE. Firstly, they have a check in offer which is always a plus. Secondly, the staff was super friendly. Like SUPER. And not only to my girlfriend and me, but to every customer that walked through the door. It's a smaller, more intimate salon, so you definitely feel appreciated as a guest rather than just another number. MAJOR points for not rushing me. Some of the bigger, busier salons either don't have enough seats or are not properly staffed, so there's that sense of urgency to get it and get out. Not here. I cannot stress enough how friendly and welcoming they are. Another plus: they have full-sized bottles of water! I don't know about y'all but I get super dehydrated in this desert; I drink a lot of water, so those tiny bottles that other salons give just don't do the trick. But what about the nails Libbet D.??! I expect nothing less than excellence, and they came through. Will I be back? Without a doubt, absolutely. I have FINALLY found my salon. read more

Central Nails - Very horrible place Fat Chinese lady is very rude. - Nail Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I showed the man a picture of the nails I wanted which was a simple light pink, short and square shaped full set and he pushed my phone away and told me to pick a color, he didn't measure any of my nails so they were all uneven and to top it off all of my nails popped off the same day as if they were a press on set from Walmart. The worst $45 dollars I've ever spent. Extremely disappointed and will never go back. read more

I agreed to the chrome nails. When we were looking at the colors, the chrome didn't look on the display the way it did in the jar. It looked like gold. I picked gold/silver, but she kept saying "Gold, gold, right?" I'm like no #202. She's like "...that's this color (holding the gold). You'll see." Well she put it on, but I said not too heavy. It came out a peachy color because the stark white gel underneath. It was not chrome. I should have stuck with the color I wanted or just not done it. The person who did my pedicure clearly never did chrome because she had to call someone. They did give me something else the next day and did a regular gel which came out great, but the chrome was more expensive and I didn't see any of that money back. She fixed it, she was good about it. I believe I'll be back due to her generosity, the prices are good and my brows were done well. read more

came in for a full nail set was told it was 45 got simple maroon nails no designs ended up being 60 checked my bank account and they took out 73 instead of the 60 I also tipped cash.not sure how the prices where so different. 10/10 wont be going again. wack read more

Fantastic nails. Hilarious staff. I got a gel manicure wirh chrome overlay and it is BOMB! They got me in very quickly despite being very busy on a Saturday afternoon. Owner/manager greeted every single person as they walked in and had an uncanny ability to guesstimate the time it would take to get back into a chair. The salon obviously had a great repeat clientele as there was friendly banter going on the whole time. I don't live in the valley but I'll def try to incorporate a visit into my next trip down. read more

****Update**** It has been just over a week and all of the gel on my nails have peeled off. Can't believe I spent 60$$ on this. I tried central nails on April 29th. I went to start my 21st birthday early, and to get my nails done. Everything was great and looked great until I got to lunch and looked closer at the finished product. My thumb skin was stuck to my nail, my hang nails weren't clipped all of the painting was uneven. And that's just on my hands. My toes look like he just put a drop of polish on and didn't clean it up. Had I looked closer at my nails before I left I would have asked for them to be fixed. I read the reviews for this place before going, and was really hoping for a great experience. Just super disappointed at the quality of work. read more

I went to this location after conducting a yelp search, I went in to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Happened to be, as I was getting my gel manicure I advised the nail tech, the light wasn't on for the box where I put my hand in....it was going in and out, she just nodded her head (language barrier, which I understand but I just wanted my nails to dry...)any-who my nails started to peel after THREE days . I will definitely be going elsewhere..... read more

I have been coming to Central Nails for almost 3 years to get my mani/pedis. No matter what technician I have, I consistently get amazing results and wonderful customer service. Suzie is fun and bubbly and clearly understands the importance of relationships with her customers. Same with Lucy - she met my mother once and now every time I'm in she asks me how she is doing. Central Nails - Best place by far - Nail Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Wandering Phoenix on the 4th of July, the day after a huge haboob blew through town looking for a place to get a little personal grooming done quickly turned into a nightmare. Yes, there were tree limbs lying around all over the ground. Yes, it is a national holiday. That does not negate the fact that I really really need my eyebrows groomed. FINALLY, after pulling up to at least 10 other places which were closed when Yelp and their posted signs said they SHOULD be open, I found Central Nails open and actually quite busy with people getting in a last minute mani/pedi or facial. The people who work here are very friendly, and their prices are pretty reasonable. They charge: $10 - brows, $6 - lips, $16 - brow and lip I gave them an extra star for being open when NOBODY ELSE in town was. Thanks, Central Nails, for helping me in my hour of need. read more

RUDE AND HASTY. I always base whether or not to get a full set/manicure by the way they care for my feet. I was greeted and promised "10 more minutes." I sat and soaked for 15 min before a man who looked like he just built a house (dirty white shirt and dirty nails) start my pedicure. Long story short, the shape of my nails were crooked, he forgot to put lotion on my feet and talked sh*t about me in Vietnamese the WHOLE TIME about me being too picky while the entire staff made bets on whether or not if I was going to leave a tip. I paid and left the man a tip anyway. I've never been so appalled, humiliated and dissatisfied with a service. I asked for the manager and there was no manager avail. read more

LOVE this place. I've gone to a million different nail places in my life and I'm extremely picky, but I'm obsessedddd with my nails! Everyone knows how hard it is to find someone who's actually good at the coffin shape nail, but mine turned out perfect! Prices are great too! For reshape/fill/color it was $20! And my friend got a full set for $25! Definitely coming back read more

This place was okay. They valued my appointment which is good. I came early and they took me right away. I felt it was rushed and could have been better. At one point I asked to wash the filings off my hands and she told me I don't need to, so that became a bit awkward lol. The shape is a little off, as for the color its smooth and no bumps! Although I wish she would have gotten the creases on the sides lol. I guess I expected more after reading all the great reviews read more

We showed up (a group of 3) w/o an appointment on a Saturday and were still able to get our nails done without too much of a wait. They were able to start 2 of us right away and one friend had to wait 30min or so. The owner was super honest and told us up front that there would be a wait. Bear did my nails today and he did a great job. He took a lot of time on my pedicure, making sure my nails were really clean and smooth. He also gave me a manicure and did a really really good job clipping all of my cuticles, I'm picky about my cuticles and he did it right! Basic Mani-Pedi was $30 and $5 more for callus removal- super reasonable. Bear was both friendly and professional, if I'm in the area again I will for sure be back! read more

Lucy did a beautiful job on a basic mani/pedi. The water was nice and hot (I love HOT!) and the massage chair was relaxing. She allowed me to relax (I must look like I needed it! ) while she worked on my feet. Once she completed my pedicure, we went to the table to work on my fingers. That's when I got to know a little bit about her. She was super sweet and when I am back in AZ, I plan to visit Lucy again! read more

I don't really live close but I've had such a great experience here that I make the drive every two weeks to get my fill and pedicure. The staff is great! I have no complaints and will keep coming here to get my nails done. read more

I had a tough week and decided to go get a pedicure and try this place out. I believe I was greeted by the owner which she was very nice. I was then walked over to the lady that was going to help me. The lady was very serious and looked annoyed. She asked me how the water was and I told her it was a bit too hot but she didn't do anything to it. Once I sat down she handed me the pricing sheet on the pedicures and waited until I picked and she still asked me "am I okay to start?." I felt like she maybe thought I didn't have money to pay I got an upgraded pedicure thinking more time will be spent on my cuticles or scrubbing my feet more but very minimal cuticle removal and filed my toe nails just once. She kept trying to sell me on gel and once I gave her an answer she wouldn't talk or laugh or nothing. It was soo awkward!! She then asked me what colors I wanted and I showed her and with an attitude she asked "are you sure?" Like if I couldn't change my mind Then when I moved over to manicure she was putting my sandals on and she snapped at me not to move. Manicure was also okay but I still have cuticles that were left behind. Not sure if I will return to this spot. 2 stars because I was greeted by a nice lady and I did see a few other ladies that were engaging with their customers. read more

I walked in and was promptly taken care of for a full set of acrylic nails. The colors of polish I picked out were no where near the colors on the nail "board!" After several attempts at the color I wanted, I just finally accepted the color which was presented. When all was done, my nails look like I did them myself! My thumb nails look like someone put putty on them. I've never been more disappointed, and I've never written a yelp review. The cost was $60 before the tip. Ridiculous!! read more

Stopped by for a gel mani and regular pedicure and they got me in for both right away. They were all kind and very attentive. Horrible just horrible.! I had asked for a French tip lady first of all broke one of my nails which is fine because I had another one already broken and so I was like ok cool but nobody couldn't do acrylic nails and they had to call their manager to come do it since she wasn't at the salon I had to wait 15-20 min till she got there. Let me say .. she left them shorter then the rest of the nails I already had and when they were done with painting them and everything they charged me $88 for everything. I was like wait what and she said the $20 extra dollars was from the two nails you had broken and I looked at them in disbelief and I was like wow yea the mail your employee broke yea ok and didn't do nothing else but paid and left but to tell u the truth it was the place I would go to a lot but they charge way too much for nonsense ! Another time was when they charged me $87 for French tip and I gave them $100 bucks yea I never saw my change but she knew she had to give me change and she just smiled and left before I even asked for my change and yup never again their just horrible they don't care how your nails end up looking they do things so quick and not even care about how it'll affect your nails how it'll look smh worst place please don't go they charge extremely too much ! read more
