I've been here twice and left happy both times. I'm unsure of the nail techs name (I'll definitely have to ask next time so I can request her for all of my future appts) but I've had her both times and I appreciate how she's always asking if everything looks to your liking along the way. I'm the type of person who never speaks up when something is unsatisfactory with my nails. I've been at this place twice; once for a pedicure and the last time was for a full set. This place seem promising with all the reviews and pictures with all the cool styles they can do. I think it is a hit or miss. I came in for a full set when the place was empty. All the workers gathered around to watch Sau did my nails. They all talked in Vietnamese which didn't bothered me but I can see how it can be bothersome for others. Sau was very diligent in her work. She informed me of all the prices before performing anything on my nails. I opt for the powder acrylics which costed $50. The baby pink was very natural and I left the chair pretty satisfied. However, not even 10 days later there has been major openings which signal me needing a fill. At other places, I can go much longer without filling. Probably won't come back to be honest. I've gone to better places for the same price if not even cheaper. Extra cost: $15 for stickers on 4 fingers, $10 for a couple diamonds on 2 fingers (or may have been the other way around), but regardless it is still pretty steep. read more

Lucky me I was the only one in the salon when I got here...was immediately received with smiles and given the stack of color samples to choose from. The girls are very friendly. I was approached with different designs and options to choose from (for extra $ of course) but never pressured into getting anything. Which was very refreshing! I came here with my daughter for gel manicures. The new owners and decor are lovely. I got probably the best looking manicure of my life, which is saying a lot. My daughter's was ok, her nails were filed in an odd shape. They suggested a few nail colors and I agreed, not realizing that every suggestion was an extra $5 ($10 extra for me, $10 extra for my daughter). I got this set on December 24th! I am not paying to keep going into a salon once a week to get my nails fixed I also paid over $100 for this set and a pedicure I got with it so I expect much better than this and I am very disappointed. I called today January 3 and she said she would fix it so here's hoping that we can get back on track because the last couple sets before were amazing. On January 3rd we fixed the nails that were broken and it didn't hurt. However, by January 4th I noticed bubbling in my polish. By the 7th, this happened after washing my hands. I've been going here for over a year and have always loved their work. However, they hired a new nail tech that did my fills the last two times, and both times they were horrible. Aside from being SUPER thick, there was extra acrylic and nail polish on my fingers, and acrylic on the underside of my nail to my skin. It's a shame because the owner ALWAYS did a good job. But this new tech seemed to have rushed me both times I was there, had me sit on the chair and wait for her to finish her text message as she smiled and giggled to whoever she was texting. For like FIVE MINUTES. Unfortunately they lost a very loyal customer. I was even going here before it was Central Nails, when it was called Monarch Nails. But the new tech has completely lost me. Very Good pedicures. Not very hygienic with nails kept using the same paper towel to wipe nails of gel both hands until the towel was a hard ball. Cheap on product nails lasted barely 8 days then fill. Usually lasts two weeks plus elsewhere. Long waits with few customers. Customer service needs work. Sau is most experienced but needs help. This is a diverse area you cannot be afraid to be nice, not fake nice. People can tell the difference. I suggest get a male manager. read more

They do good work on nails but they are inconsistent on prices. This bothered me because a friend of mine told me she paid 18$ for a regular pedicure and when I went in I paid 22$ and another friend of mine had told me she went in and they told her it would be 20$ but at the end they told her it was 30$ when they had already done her nails. So I came in on a Sunday & I called ahead of time to see if they have time. The owner sau said yes so I went ahead for the first time to try this spot. I came in as soon as she said come in. When I walk in super nice she was sat me & my man down for our pedicure and manicure. So When I called I told her I wanted her ( sau the owner ) to do my pedi and mani. She kept trying to persuade me that they have an hour and half left until closing so can someone else do my toes. At first I was upset because when I called she never told me any of that right. Kind of sounded money hungry at this point. Then I said whatever that's fine. And so the owner did my hands while another lady did my toes and they both did a good job. So when it was time for my design she had someone else do it. She kept complaining about how she was sooooo tired. Girl ! What ! This is a business you are running. Do not complain when u have NEW CUSTOMERS. SO ANYWAYS... at this point it was like 45 min until closing and it was just me and my man there. No one else. They rushed his pedicure and rushed my design that I didn't even notice they were not the same. They over charge for designs I feel like. They charged me an extra 20$ for design for four fingers and 10$ for two toes. Wtf ! And my toes were so basic by the way ! Ok so whatever I paid did not argue. Went home. The next day I seen the design was not the same. I call her she's like come in so I do out of my way during traffic now I'm waiting writing the review. I can feel they are talking about me in their language. She's like let me take a look at your nails I show her she's like we freestyle so it won't be the same I said girl I know what freestyle is but this is how I wanted it. So she was like ok wait. Anyways I value customer service. It's good she told me come fix it but I tipped them too and on top of her rushing us out and complaining and me having to come back in I feel like they lost me there.
