I've paid the same low price for almost a decade, and on the rare occasions I've called for tech support, a helpful human answered immediately and resolved my issue. One experience in particular prompted this review: my router went out on a Saturday night, and I fully expected to wait until Monday for help. Instead, I reached someone around midnight who helped troubleshoot the issue. Even more remarkable, a skilled and kind technician--who had originally installed my internet years earlier--came first thing Sunday morning to replace the router. This level of service is truly unheard of. DC Access sets the standard for excellence!

DO NOT RECOMMEND -- BILLING, SECURITY & CUSTOMER SERVICE NIGHTMARE…read more I have only had Xfinity Internet for two months since relocating to Upper Marlboro, and although it was cheaper than Verizon, it has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. On July 14, we received what appeared to be a legitimate Xfinity call to pay our bill. The caller had our information, and we even received an Xfinity verification text. We paid, received an email saying the bill was paid, and later discovered serious concerns that our payment and account information had been compromised. When I called Xfinity, I was told my account would be credited by July 20. Instead, I was charged another late fee. I called again on July 27 and was passed around to representatives who gave conflicting information, read scripts, and continued asking me to pay an incorrect balance instead of fixing the problem. Even my installation experience was terrible. The technician asked personal questions unrelated to the installation and made me so uncomfortable that I asked my husband to hurry home. Two months in, I've dealt with security concerns, incorrect billing, late fees, broken promises, and terrible customer service. I will be canceling as soon as Xfinity corrects and zeros out my account. I would not recommend Xfinity to anyone. The cheaper price is NOT worth the frustration.

Fast forward 2 weeks later, walked into this location, I was welcomed by the staff. I was told that it would take a few minutes before someone could help me swap out the equipment. I used the restroom, then sat down in their VERY LARGE TV THEATRE SCREEN lounge area to watch the playoffs game. Only one other customer was there. I arrived at approximately 6:30p. I got my new equipment at 7:15p and I stayed until 8p when they closed. I paid for parking both visits and it took me over 20mins to find parking both trips. Very inconvenient. I visited this store in person because I had spent over 4 hours on the phone and in online chats with Verizon, trying to buy a phone, with reps who were perfectly nice, but totally ineffective. Won't go into great detail here, but the phone I purchased through the phone rep and delivered by FedEx required a signature. Since nobody was at home, it ended up being sent back to a Verizon warehouse. The phone rep neglected to tell me about the signature requirement. If she had, I would've headed straight to a store to buy the item. I didn't expect much when I made an appointment at this store, but I figured it couldn't be worse than the time I spent on the phone. Moses was a total pro, and I walked out with a new phone. I was there quite a while, but that was because there were technical glitches at Verizon. Moses was so sweet and patient, and listened to my whining about the awful experience I had trying to buy through the phone rep. Another customer was helped by Doreen. He was so unhappy and frustrated with Verizon service, but Doreen helped him in no time at all. He was so thrilled, he came back with a lovely vase of flowers. She deserved it! All the reps in this store were knowledgeable and professional. It looked like every customer was attended to, and got the results they needed. Some older reviews about this location were negative. I'd say give this place a shot; I suspect you won't be disappointed.
