The repairman stated that it was…read moreunsalvageable, and after I received a broken TV from Walmart, I was already frustrated but still trying to be hopeful that I would finally get a TV. I spent some time looking at the TVs and noticed that the agents and people on the floor were very busy, running around to help other customers, so I took my time to look around. I was not convinced by any TV, and as someone who plays video games for long hours, I wanted to ensure my TV was amazing and suitable for that purpose. Here is where George saved the day. I approached him at the counter and told him what had happened. He was very kind and explained the specifications that a gaming TV should have before starting to look around. He took the time (doing it as effectively as possible because they were busy) to find the perfect TV for me, and he definitely did. He got me a great TV that works perfectly for me, and I love every minute of it. He was also able to secure a discount on my fantastic OLED SONY TV. I recommend visiting the store and having them help you; keep in mind that they are busy, and you might have to wait a bit, but the wait is definitely worth it. It took me about 45 minutes to be at the store, considering I was perusing for about 30 minutes. Hopefully, this review helps you choose them for your next electronic device.

I literally went to the back of the store towards because it felt like the right area to go. No luck with that train of thought because there was nothing in this area. Surprisingly the area I needed to look in was exactly right inside the entrance to this store. After finally figuring this out, I stood in front of the items and tried to figure out which item would fit the model of iPad I had. It didn't help that they had the items in bulky theft deterring cases. I know why they had to put them in these, but it made it hard to figure out if each one of them would fit my iPad. It was quite the ordeal to pick up each one, attempt to read the backs of each and then switch up. It didn't help that I had a bag with me with items in it and I didn't want to put it down. What made matters worse here was the noise level. It was so loud that it was hard to concentrate. It was like I was in a frat house during a party. The music was so loud in here that you could hardly hear a thing. In fact, when I was asked if I needed help, I declined instead of having to yell my answers/questions to the store employee. When you thought the music was finally being turned down, the volume shot back up. I had enough of this and decided to leave. I ended up picking up my item elsewhere. A place that I wasn't in the middle of the rave.

The store shares space with some exhibitions about DC history. It's a confusing place; there are multiple entrances but you only reliably get greeted at one of them. I came for a major repair. They took every opportunity to congratulate me for getting Apple Care, which to be fair does seem to have been a sage decision. They underpromised and overdelivered, telling me that my (very important) computer would be out of commission for a week but actually getting it humpty-dumptied into shape in a couple of days and calling me on a weekend to pick it up, which was a big boost for me. Service in the store wasn't the quickest, but overall the experience was a success for me.

Such a unique space with a full museum and galleries of DC history upstairs and downstairs. If you need genius bar service, the friendly team members do everything to accommodate walk ins but appointments are highly recommended. If you don't have Apple care as an insurance "plan" for your Apple devices, I'd highly suggest it, as paying for parts and services add up quickly and can be a little pricey. Overall, I enjoy visits here. They also have a calendar of events, talks, demonstrations and other engaging activities periodically b

    Hit Item - JK...knows his Oil-ology!

We got sidetracked by the Wool Wraps & scarves there were on the hanging displays. So many colors, styles to choose from & the prices were bananas, only $15.00! Not to mention they had almost every type of clothing, weather items, electronics, memorabilia, to name a few in plain sight. After we peruse around the mini warehouse which reminded me of an indoor flea market, we ended up at the counter & began to get schooled by the Cashier, JK. For the past 15 years my GodSister has been getting the body oil that she burns, not the burning oil. Oddly enough, it does the same thing, however one of the patrons passing through educated on us why the two are different with the ingredients for the body & burning usage. There was such a massive selection, the Cashier & I decided to play "Name the Fragrance, I bet I Got It", & after naming 5 different scents that he had, I gave up. There had to been over 1000 small glass bottles of oil in the display case, & at least a 200 big plastic bottles behind the counter on huge shelf. After being a quick study, we ended up getting a big bottle of Cush for the burning & Dolce & Gabbana for the body. Nothing wrong with trial & error as long as the aromatherapy is on point. Although we drove, the closest Metro is Farragut North, with a 10-15 minute walk. Such a great value for the oils we got. & JK, his awesome & witty personality, great customer service & knowledge made our smell good trip so much more fun!

You have to go with the hustle and bustle and hope that you don't forget anything. On top of that, you really have to pay attention to see where departments are in this store. I had several items I knew I needed to get and I didn't want to make anymore stops than I needed to on my way home. Plus, I had a plan to stay in all weekend and this would fulfill that plan as well. I came in and darted to areas that I knew I needed to go to. I was amazed by the fact that everything I needed was stocked and available. I made it a point to not get a cart or basket because I didn't need to buy anything just because I saw. Using only my hands to grab the items helped in this train of thought. You can only carry so many items and this limited me to impulse buying. Then I got to the registers and this is where it kind of turns into the hunger games. You can either take your chances and stand in one of the two long lines at registers that are manned. Or you can stand in line at the self checkouts and hope that the people in front of you know how to use them and use them fast. I chose the latter and almost regretted this as the people in front of me were slower than I expected. I did end up getting through my own checkout quickly and since I had my own bag ready, I was out of that area and on my way back out. Why the freight elevator is at the entrance of this place, I don't know, as it is a big obstacle to go around when entering and exiting. And the exit side is almost always littered with people that you have to sidestep with the best of them.
