Self-checkout stations with digital screens and candy shelves are visible inside a Target store, with red decor and checkout signage.

Target located on the second floor in the mall. This is like a normal target but a step above. They had a full blown Ulta Beauty inside. That's the first I've that. I tried to go to Starbucks after but they were closed. Target was really clean but there were no workers at the registers. Only thing that was open was the self checkout.

I like this one. It's the closest Target to the Downtown, just in from of Columbia Heights metro station. 2 floors, self cashiers, restroom.

The Target is on a busy street and the entrance is through the glass doors of the building and up the escalators. This Target gets really, really busy, and my weekend visit was no exception. The Target Cartwheel app had a $10 off $40 clothes coupon so I did what my heart wanted: I got a bunch of cheap shirts for an upcoming trip! There was a lot to choose from in the men's section, clearance and regular price items. The employees keep the store very clean and organized, and I appreciate going through well-folded and size-ordered clothes to avoid having to check each one, with hope rising and falling, for that elusive S or XS. Checkout was fast! I enjoyed my shopping experience. I hope not to get lured back for at least another week or two. #NoSelfControl Recommended!

$5 wine (totally worth it)

This location is conveniently located in Colombia Heights steps away from the metro station! Stopped in here to get a few things but left with several bags - isn't this how it always works at Tarjay?! I found what I was looking for (and more). This location sells beer and wine...not sure if that's new but I'm cool with it. One stop shop! I picked up a $5 bottle of Moscato and it was surprisingly decent! The plastic bags here are on the thinner side and being that it's DC, they charge for them. The lines were long but they move fairly quickly!

Women's clothing area- good selection here, I always find cute and flattering clothes!

This has to be the worst, most confusing layout of a target I've ever seen. There were zero employees anywhere to help. Never coming back.

Convenient location but black women can be so rude for no reason at all. Such a bad experience just to pick up an order.

They occasionally have some great unique pieces, but that is becoming increasingly rare. It seems to have morphed more into a confusing assortment of newer Ikea-level furniture presented as vintage, gift soaps & candles and random clothing. But what really makes this place special are the people - the staff / owners here seem to actively dislike their customers lol! I lived around the corner for 6 years and used to drop in regularly. They revolve between completely ignoring you while laughing to each other, outright hostility, and aggressive indifference (ask a question - they shrug while walking away lol). To make it all just a little more uncomfortable, it seems like half of what they have on the floor is "unavailable". No signs, no explanation, just when you say you would like to buy it they say it's "unavailable" and walk away lol. I don't know who this place is supposed to appeal to, it seems like they are going for tourists, and maybe young people who just moved here and don't know any better. Hopefully this space will turn over into something that better serves the community.
