Most of my interactions were with Charlie. He was so helpful and professional. He provided me with a repair estimate and all the information I needed to go through my credit card insurance instead. They were able to repair my screen and I only ended up paying $100 out of pocket. They gave me a estimated repair time of 2 hours but completed the job in 45 min. I did have to return the next day because after my repair, my speakerphone wasn't working. They quickly took my phone and fixed the issue within minutes. I hate having to go here but love that they are so quick, friendsly and efficient!

It took them exactly 2 hours to fix it. I'd suggest maybe going to a coffee shop or go shopping in the mean time somewhere nearby. Have a watch or laptop on you. Or a book. Its very metro accessible (across the street from Eastern Market Metro station, 2 min walk). The main critique I had was the horrendously foul smell the place had. I went to the store after my TV broke out of nowhere. The repairman stated that it was…read moreunsalvageable, and after I received a broken TV from Walmart, I was already frustrated but still trying to be hopeful that I would finally get a TV. I spent some time looking at the TVs and noticed that the agents and people on the floor were very busy, running around to help other customers, so I took my time to look around. I was not convinced by any TV, and as someone who plays video games for long hours, I wanted to ensure my TV was amazing and suitable for that purpose. Here is where George saved the day. I approached him at the counter and told him what had happened. He was very kind and explained the specifications that a gaming TV should have before starting to look around. He took the time (doing it as effectively as possible because they were busy) to find the perfect TV for me, and he definitely did. He got me a great TV that works perfectly for me, and I love every minute of it. He was also able to secure a discount on my fantastic OLED SONY TV. I recommend visiting the store and having them help you; keep in mind that they are busy, and you might have to wait a bit, but the wait is definitely worth it. It took me about 45 minutes to be at the store, considering I was perusing for about 30 minutes. Hopefully, this review helps you choose them for your next electronic device.

It didn't help that they had the items in bulky theft deterring cases. I know why they had to put them in these, but it made it hard to figure out if each one of them would fit my iPad. It was quite the ordeal to pick up each one, attempt to read the backs of each and then switch up. It didn't help that I had a bag with me with items in it and I didn't want to put it down. What made matters worse here was the noise level. It was so loud that it was hard to concentrate. It was like I was in a frat house during a party. The music was so loud in here that you could hardly hear a thing. In fact, when I was asked if I needed help, I declined instead of having to yell my answers/questions to the store employee. When you thought the music was finally being turned down, the volume shot back up. I had enough of this and decided to leave. I ended up picking up my item elsewhere. I never had a chance to read any of the questions that he was answering for me. Unfortunately, the tv did not work for me and I returned it the next day. When the salesclerk gave me the return receipt, it was for $10.00 less than what I was originally charged. I asked her why and she showed me on the original purchase receipt where it included a donation of $10.00 to Teen Tech. i had no knowledge of this. The guy who sold me the tv included this donation without my knowledge or consent. I am not going to quibble over $10.00 and I'm sure they would say it was a "mistake." (which I doubt) I am posting this as a heads-up to anyone shopping at Best Buy. Make sure to check your receipt carefully to be sure they do not "mistakenly" include a donation that you did not agree to.

They took every opportunity to congratulate me for getting Apple Care, which to be fair does seem to have been a sage decision. They underpromised and overdelivered, telling me that my (very important) computer would be out of commission for a week but actually getting it humpty-dumptied into shape in a couple of days and calling me on a weekend to pick it up, which was a big boost for me. I took my mother to this store for her 87th birthday to finally upgrade her iPhone and change from one carrier to Verizon since all her home services were through them. It just made sense she had finished paying off the phone from the previous carrier to bundle her cell phone into the internet, cable, and home phone. In addition, it will make it easier for my siblings and me to assist her in paying her bills. I thought everything was done when we entered the store, and I firmly articulated that this was what we wanted to do. So, we left thinking that it was done and that her monthly bill would reflect electronically this new item added to her services with Verizon. This was in November, and in January, my mother called me hysterical that she received a bill of over $800.00 along with a cut-off notice for her cell services and sending her information to a collection agency. I immediately logged on to her account and didn't notice anything unusual. So, I chalked it up to thinking that it was spam. I then went to her house to look at three bills with three account numbers on them. After not getting a favorable response by telephone, I immediately got the bills and went to the store we purchased the cell phone from to find out what happened. I was met by a young lady named "Nimota," who spent over an hour working with me to find out how to rectify this situation so my mother's services could be restored. I am not a Verizon customer; little did I know that their wireless and home services fall under two separate entities. So, in essence, as a customer, you receive TWO separate bills; one for home and one for cell. WHO KNEW; WTH. I will spare you further details of this fiasco. Nevertheless, I wanted to highlight "Nimota" and her incredible patience, poise, professionalism, knowledge of the carrier and who to connect me with. Her gentle spirit and calm personality kept me as we came to a peaceful resolution to this mishap to some degree. I hope that the store manager cherishes the gift of her presence in this store.
