I work online, and so I need to have a reliable connection-- and that's when a friend of mine recommended trying out DC Access. A long time customer of Verizon, I was wary of going with a small, local company. Long story short, I could not be happier. Frankly, I feel like DC Access is better than my previous service with Fios. For one, the internet connection feels much more reliable now than it was before (maybe it has to do with the number of people who are on it? I don't know, but I haven't had -- fingers crossed-- any outages or lapses in quality). The other great part about DC Access is that, since it's a small local company, they are very responsive. I don't have to wait on the phone for ages or swap emails with nameless customer service reps. Anyhow, if DC Access offers coverage in your area, I highly recommend it.

On July 14, we received what appeared to be a legitimate Xfinity call to pay our bill. The caller had our information, and we even received an Xfinity verification text. We paid, received an email saying the bill was paid, and later discovered serious concerns that our payment and account information had been compromised. When I called Xfinity, I was told my account would be credited by July 20. Instead, I was charged another late fee. I called again on July 27 and was passed around to representatives who gave conflicting information, read scripts, and continued asking me to pay an incorrect balance instead of fixing the problem. Even my installation experience was terrible. The technician asked personal questions unrelated to the installation and made me so uncomfortable that I asked my husband to hurry home. Two months in, I've dealt with security concerns, incorrect billing, late fees, broken promises, and terrible customer service. I will be canceling as soon as Xfinity corrects and zeros out my account. I would not recommend Xfinity to anyone. The cheaper price is NOT worth the frustration.

I spent hours on the phone with XFinity Customer Service trying to get the equipment activated and after the 6th phone call to customer service, they declared that it was the wrong equipment. Fast forward 2 weeks later, walked into this location, I was welcomed by the staff. I was told that it would take a few minutes before someone could help me swap out the equipment. I used the restroom, then sat down in their VERY LARGE TV THEATRE SCREEN lounge area to watch the playoffs game. Only one other customer was there. I arrived at approximately 6:30p. I got my new equipment at 7:15p and I stayed until 8p when they closed. I paid for parking both visits and it took me over 20mins to find parking both trips. Very inconvenient. Overall, nice staff, great location to relax in, but parking is definitely a big challenge in this busy location. Next to the Metro is convenient for those who ride it.

I am disabled and was offered a chair right away. On top of that, instead of getting up to look for accessories or phones, those products were brought to me, so that I did not have to get up and down. The person helping me was super nice and extremely helpful. He offered me a lot of options for a new phone + plan. The new process for transferring your old phone to your new phone is much easier now too, as you can do it from home. He explained that to me and I was in and out of the store within 20 minutes. Oh the way out, he went out of his way to hold the door open for me, since there isn't a handicapped door and I thought that was really nice - most people do not do that. All in all, this was a pleasant experience, when it never used to be.

Manager and staff guy were so frustrating - I was in the store over 3 hours with no progress. Long story short - I was charged TWICE for a new Iphone - staff at the store told me to take it up with Verizon Customer Service -= and I could never get a live person there to talk to me -- and when I emailed or did live chat, it was just AI auto-messages responding back -- and they would not fix the double charge. Anyway, so I ended up disputing charge on my credit card bill. Nightmare.
