Great coffee and such a welcoming vibe -- the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. It's located inside the Center for Architecture and Design, so it's very on-theme, though it can be a little tricky to find. I went with a classic oat milk latte, which was strong and delicious. The spinach feta pastry had really good flavor, though mine was a little under-toasted and still cold in the center -- super tasty regardless. One small note: the $1.25 upcharge for alternate milk does add up. Overall a solid spot worth visiting!

I got an espresso. It was very well executed. Med/dark roast with good crema and body with a creamy texture. I tasted dark chocolate bitterness and a bright citrus /fruit undertone. 5/5 Would definitely come back for espresso.

Dear Yelp Community, I visited for the first time this month. Great location inside the Center for Architecture + Design, and great décor for people who appreciate a mix of contemporary interior architecture with a motorcycle-themed environment put together in a classy manner. That large wooden table and glass-like fixture from the ceiling placed above the table are two elegant centerpieces of this shop. Classic drink menu and pastries. I really enjoyed the (hot) cortado and banana bread. Service was good, as well. Overall, I had a positive feeling here, a mix of relaxation and a place to work, so I really recommend. Well wishes. Sincerely, Anna

Came in on a Tuesday before 10am - hadn't spotted this local coffee shop before so was curious! I ordered the horchata latte, which was one of their specialties. It was enjoyable but a bit too grainy for me. I was expecting a smoother latte but maybe the cinnamon and rice milk were the culprits. Would be willing to try another coffee! There was one barista servicing but no line when I ordered, so received my latte after a quick wait. You'll notice the unique vibe as soon as you walk in. Motorcycles and scooters are placed throughout the cafe as decor. There's one communal table for seating that housed a few laptops and an overall chill atmosphere. There were a small selection of pastries available with one item sold out by the time I arrived. Very cool spot right off Montgomery with cute merch!

Great coffee served by great people. I always enjoy going there to pick up a flat white when I have the time.

Ordered an iced Horchata Latte with no alterations and it seems like they make it with a powder, espresso, and a base of half oat milk half almond milk. I wish I had asked before ordering because it ended up just tasting like a grainy oat milk latte to me. The service was fast and polite and it seems like a nice place to hang out with music and a fair amount of tables, but I wouldn't order this drink again.

I work around the corner but have stopped by here a few times. It's a cute little spot with a fun decor. Service is always great and the coffee itself is very good. If you're nearby, give it a shot!

Great vibes and a great horchata, which is made with a blend of almond milk and oat milk. Friendly, personable service.

I got a Horchata Latte ($6.50) here last week and it was amazing. The foam was thick and perfect, and it lasted through my entire drink. Props to the barista, who was really nice too! (This was Tuesday 9/10 at 2pm.)

I had a doctor's appointment on Sutter street and was looking for a cup of coffee and quick bite beforehand. I found Cento. Friendly service, yummy vanilla latte, and beautiful interior inside a famous historical building.

The shop itself is nestled in a really beautiful spot in the Center for Architecture and Design. Super airy, newly remodeled, and just seems like a really nice spot to grab a coffee with someone. The coffee itself was just ok; I got a cortado, and it was too overly roasted for me. It had quite the sour aftertaste, and didn't provide the mouthfeel I usually look for. Will be back if I'm in the area!

So we got an extra drink for free. Trying the iced latte, it was pretty disappointing lol. I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

We chose this large city location thanks to easy parking and a convenient stop on our drive. It was a beautiful morning, which was easy to enjoy thanks to the high ceilings, big glass windows, and open main door. The first floor has a central counter to order food and drinks; the glass cabinet has a bunch of rotating pastries from a local bakery. They have restrooms and a merchandise area here too. At the front are counter seats along the front window, and also a horseshoe that looks into the roasting area, which is a great place to smell the beans. There's an upstairs loft that overlooks the cafe below, also with a test kitchen area and offices across to the front. They definitely have a larger business going on, and I can see why it's so popular. We ordered a latte, iced coffee, and various pastries to start our day. Prices were reasonable for the quality. The lady that I was watching was there for the matcha and I can understand why now. We tried the Yuzu Matcha Air Cloud and a Caramel Latte because I felt like we needed to try the coffee since it's a Coffee shop though I have to say I was not a fan of the coffee. We arrived just before the line outside started to form. There's seating available inside with a couple of people that seemed to be working. We originally sat in the middle section with the small round table that can't be moved but then a table opened up. There's a gender neutral restroom available that always seemed to have a line though I guess that's what happens at coffee shops. ~~Service: Good. It was quick to order and surprisingly very quick to receive our drinks as well. ~~Best Part: The Matcha. The coffee was a bit too bitter but it could be due to the fact that I do prefer to drink dark roasts. ~~Worst Part: Nit though maybe it's just me where we were expecting there to be a trash at the entrance so that we could throw away our cups as we were leaving but I guess there's no room for the bins at the beginning so you have to walk to the back towards the restroom to throw it away. ~~Tips: Get the matcha. I wanted to get the velvet but it looked so basic compared to the Yuzu matcha air cloud. The Yuzu flavor itself was refreshing in the foam form but I'm very basic when it comes to flavors and shouldn't have mixed the foam in because it was messing with me. ~~Return: Probably not. I wanted to check the receipt because somehow 2 drinks was nearly $20 but I realized there wasn't even an option to get a receipt.

Whether you are in the mood for a katsu sando, curry over rice, ochazuke with their matcha twist, or something sweet like the matcha cream pie, it is hard to go wrong here. All of the savory dishes I have tried have been great, but the fish katsu sando is one of my absolute favorites. The huge fish fillets are perfectly fried and flaky, tucked inside pillowy shokupan and topped with tangy yuzu shio koji sauce, tomato spread, and fresh crunchy cabbage. Every component works together beautifully, with richness, brightness, and texture all in balance. The pork katsu curry over rice is another standout. The katsu comes sliced into thick pieces that are still juicy inside, and it is fried expertly so the breading stays attached as you eat it. The curry has a really balanced flavor, even if I would not mind a little more spice, while the pickled radishes provide a nice contrast. I always add an onsen egg (for an additional $2) because breaking the runny yolk and mixing it into the curry adds another layer of velvety richness and creaminess. You can also tell they use high-quality matcha in their drinks, so the beverage menu is really more about choosing what fits your mood that day vs avoiding any bad options.
