I stopped by Cento Coffee on my way to work and immediately noticed how beautiful the space is. The building gets tons of natural light, and there are plenty of tables and chairs, making it seem like a great place to sit and get some work done. Service was really friendly. The guy at the register was super nice, and we shared a few laughs while I ordered, which made the experience even better. I ordered an iced Americano. They left room for milk, which is thoughtful, though I wish they had asked since I usually drink my coffee black and didn't need the extra space. That said, the coffee itself was strong and definitely gave me the jumpstart I needed for the morning. It was a bit bitter at first, but after adding two Splendas, it tasted perfect. Overall, it's a solid spot to grab a quick coffee before work. Next time, I definitely want to try their horchata latte. read more

Have always wanted to try cento after walking by it after dropping off something at usps all the time! Finally stopped in to get a chai and decided to also pick up an almond croissant since it was the last one and looked amazing. Chai and croissant were both as good as they looked and I'll definitely be back to try out some of their other drinks! Great coffee and such a welcoming vibe -- the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. It's located inside the Center for Architecture and Design, so it's very on-theme, though it can be a little tricky to find. I went with a classic oat milk latte, which was strong and delicious. The spinach feta pastry had really good flavor, though mine was a little under-toasted and still cold in the center -- super tasty regardless. I got an espresso. It was very well executed. Med/dark roast with good crema and body with a creamy texture. I tasted dark chocolate bitterness and a bright citrus /fruit undertone. 5/5 Would definitely come back for espresso. read more

Came in on a Tuesday before 10am - hadn't spotted this local coffee shop before so was curious! I ordered the horchata latte, which was one of their specialties. It was enjoyable but a bit too grainy for me. I was expecting a smoother latte but maybe the cinnamon and rice milk were the culprits. Would be willing to try another coffee! There was one barista servicing but no line when I ordered, so received my latte after a quick wait. You'll notice the unique vibe as soon as you walk in. Motorcycles and scooters are placed throughout the cafe as decor. There's one communal table for seating that housed a few laptops and an overall chill atmosphere. Coffee is okay but charging $1.25 for alternative milk is highway robbery in a 12 oz latte with only about 6-7oz of milk. I can buy an entire carton of almond milk for $3-4. The difference in cost between that and whole milk is like 1-2 cents per ounce - so like I said - just flat you charging extra for no reason. The person ringing also awkwardly finished a long conversation with a customer they knew waiting for their drink while I was standing at the register ready to order. Would love to have liked this as an alternative to other coffee places in the area but just a meh experience overall for a placing competing with a dozen other shops within two blocks. read more

Love Cento! Friendly staff and good coffee. I work nearby so I sometimes will swing by for a cappuccino. I haven't been disappointed yet! The inside is small but there is some seating if you want to stay out and hang. I love that our company also uses their beans in our office so I get to enjoy their coffee throughout the day. A great city's people no longer forced to drink swill! Cento Coffee is some of the best around, and this new joint does not disappoint. Quite possibly the best thing to happen to downtown since before the pandemic. The pandemic took away my beloved Special Xtras and Cafe Lambretta, making Cento Coffee a rare find with only two spots (I think?)--the inimitable Cento and the always delightful Cafe Suspiro, formerly Vega. The new Système D brings the best brew in town back downtown in a stunning (if a little empty at the moment--give it time, they just opened) new spot inside the brand new Center for Architecture + Design. Featuring a striking glass chandelier hovering over the fantastic communal table, perfect for sipping every ounce of romance out of a Cento (their take on a Gibraltar.) Stopped in to try a coffee today and had a delicious mocha in this GORGEOUS space I've been watching be built over the past few months at the Center for Architecture + Design. The coffee was great (they roast it themselves) and there were some yummy looking baked goods that I will have to come back to try another time. After sitting for a bit at the beautiful live edge communal table, we wandered around in the space and were blown away at how absolutely STUNNING it is. The counter man recommended that we do that and he was so right. Very impressive! Can't wait to come back here. read more

Wow, the reviews were right! This really is the best coffee! Today I decided to give this place a try and I ordered their cold brew with a splash of oat milk. It was puuuurrrrfect so smooth but bold, deep earthy taste. Gently balanced to absolute perfection. My friend who is extremely picky ordered their cold brew as is and also loved it. The gentleman helping us was very kind and told us about the building he's in and where his other location is! He also gave us a free cookie which was very sweet :) I am vegan so my friend got to take it all but boy did it smell and look delicious! It was freshly baked and the chocolate was still melty definitely come give this place a try! This will be my go to spot from now on! read more
