My go-to order is a classic latte (the best in SF btw, in my humble opinion). It is made better than I can imagine a latte to be! It comes in one size, which is the correct size (I found this out in time). The food is also awesome, and I recommend avocado toast. Service is ALWAYS top notch and all the employees kind and respectful. The ambiance works extremely well for me, love the music selection, but it might not be everyone's cup of tea (which they also have available).
I got the dolce de leche latte and it was delicious. I also love the toast that they use it's like a super thick multi grain. The shop is cute but extremely tiny so I recommend just getting coffee to go, not really a place you can work or socialize at. The staff was nice and even though it was busy I felt they made the coffee fast
Burnt caramel latte - YUM!!! Highly recommend if you're in the area. Tried the salmon and egg toast as well and it was nice. Could've used something to cut through the heaviness of it - pickled onions or something fresh, like dressed arugula.
Stopped by Scullery, a cozy coffee and tea spot near our hotel in SF, and it was such a great find. The hot chocolate was not only rich and comforting but came with the cutest bear design on top--such a thoughtful touch. We also had the dulce de leche latte, which was absolutely delicious: smooth, perfectly sweet, and well-balanced. Great drinks, welcoming vibe, and a perfect place to start the morning. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
My parent were visiting and they wanted a light breakfast. So I knew Scullery was the perfect place to meet their needs. I wanted to try their pepper jelly cream cheese toast, which is currently a seasonal item. But they had ran out of cream cheese that day. So I made it my personal mission to return, which I did the other day. I love pepper jelly and usually eat it with bolani bread. It never crossed my mind to pair it with cream cheese, and it's the perfect combination. The pepper jelly is sweet with a tickling heat, which is soothed by the richness of the cream cheese. Of course when it comes to toast, it all comes down to the bread. They use a seeded sourdough with a salted butter at the base. It's thick with a crackling crust, but soft on the inside. It's the perfect vehicle for the variety of toppings they offer. I've tried all their toasts on their regular menu, except for the pesto one because I'm allergic to it. They are all delicious. And I also recommend getting their Yorkie, which is the Yorkshire pudding filled with ham and Welsh cheddar. It's worth the wait. And if you love coffee, be sure to get a cup because it is really good. All in all, it's a place with good food, good coffee, and good vibes. It's truly a neighborhood gem.
It's a cute cafe with a lot of tasty breakfast options. I was going to get the Yorkie but the staff warned me that it would take 25 minutes to make one so I went with the spicy PBJ instead. Seating is limited but there are a couple of stools. We walked West on Geary from Union Square, but the surrounding blocks are a little rough if you're not prepared for that sort of thing
My favorite drink from here is their iced burnt caramel latte. It's the perfecttttt ratio of sweetness, coffee, and you can taste the burnt caramel!!! For $6, it's honestly a steal in SF. One of my fave coffees in the city
Great vibes, great service, great product. It is definitely on the heart of the Tenderloin, so you will see unhoused people and trash, but I still enjoyed my visit here. Minimal seating so Saturday morning you'll have a tough time to find a spot to sit and enjoy your food and beverage, but just take it to go!
Good coffee is just a thing. Either it is or it isn't. Scullery was worth the trip up Geary for a visit. Counter service, very direct order process. My friend opted for a seasonal pumpkin and I went with my coffee litmus test - cappuccino with oat milk. Outstanding beans and quality preparation are hallmarks of a good cup, and both were outstanding.
Genuinely great service, great prices, great toast conbos, quality espresso. Small place with minimal seating but not impossible. A little hidden gem, and shoutout to the kind employees!
Scullery can spin up the cutest latte art! The barista is extremely friendly and sociable. There is no WiFi here though, so please be prepared for just coffee.
This place in the Tenderloin is adorable! It's Clean, cozy (very small space, the sitting area holds less people than a hospital elevator does), and well decorated -think contemporary rustic. The coffee though... It is beautifully crafted with love by the baristas. I really like the malted mocha. The staff are friendly and attentive and really seem to care for their customers, which is difficult for them to do when they're so busy with orders and there are only two people behind the counter (I haven't seen more than that).
This place is rather small, but definitely a local mysterical coffee space that y'all should support in the Tenderloin! It's easily a 2 minute walk from the 38 bus stop going west towards Japantown, and while it's hard to find parking, the coffee shop is usually always pretty bustling. Though small, the ambiance and the energy are always top notch -- you can never deny it! The service was quick and efficient -- and it works perfect for professionals who are in a rush to get to meetings. I got quite a few things at Scullery -- a latte with a savory bread toast (they had sadly ran out of the sweet option so I aimed for the savory option this time around). The bread was really crunchy and very soft -- especially filling with the savory taste as well! read more
We got to check out Scullay Coffee recently. The space is very small with only a few counter seats, but it was cute overall. They also had a couple of little outdoor seats . We ordered two drinks and a toast. After waiting about 15 minutes for only one drink came out, I asked about the second drink. The barista said they were out of ingredients to make it. They offered substitutions, but after looking over the menu, three other drinks I picked also couldn't be made because they were missing ingredients. At that point I just asked them to make whatever they could. We ended up and a Burnt Carmel latte and I think he made some sort of pistachio latte. They were both good, but I do wish the temperature was a bit warmer. The avocado toast was mixed for me. They were generous with the avocado and it tasted fresh, which I appreciated. But the tomato topping wasn't my favorite -- the chunks tasted more like canned stewed tomatoes, so I ended up picking most of them off. Overall, nice people, but the long wait and limited menu availability made the experience not our favorite . The location is also not the best .... But San Francisco in general is not in the best shape currently! read more
This was a great find while on my San Francisco trip. I was in search of matcha before having to head into work but found this awesome place along the way. FOOD/DRINKS I came for a matcha but tried their cardamom latte and it was divine. I was glad I gave it a try. They even put a heart on top for me. I was particularly curious about their Rarebit Ham with egg and it indeed an elevated breakfast. The ham was cured wonderfully. The flavor profile of the entire meal was chefs kiss. I could taste the years of experience the chef had, It was absolutely delicious. SERVICE It came out in a good amount of time and I could tell that EVERYTHING was made with such love and care. The people in this place really are putting their all into the food and drinks they make. AMBIANCE It was a chill trendy vibe. They had cute little seating right on the sidewalk outside so you could enjoy your coffee and people watch. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone visiting and looking for a well made drink, and an artisan meal. This place will deliver elevated excellence in the form of a meal. read more

I was looking for a good cup of coffee in the area while I visited an I found it! Scullery had one of the best carmel lattes ever; it was even a burnt caramel take on it and it worked! They all sell open toast sandwhiches that looked really good but I did not have one but I will make sure next time I am there. Service was good but it is a small establishment so be prepared to take on the go. I loved the ambiance of this place; definitely makes you feel like you are in a local small cafe. Parking is not going to be as great so either walking..bus or other means of transportation. Make sure to stop by!. read more

The coffee is so smooth and delicious here! It can get busy in the morning, but is worth the wait. It's a small spot, so it's more of a grab your coffee and go place. However, it's so good, I look forward to checking it out every time we visit! read more

Thank you for stopping by Jason! We’re glad you enjoyed your toast
I loved everything about this coffee shop! The taste of the coffee was delicious, the staff friendly, and they make their own lavender syrup which I had to try! They can do 2% milk which is also for some reason super hard to find in the city. There is a line ,but that just shows you how great this place is! Be sure to check out the logo as well which is just as creative as the decor! read more
I had planned on eating breakfast here and staying awhile after my long walk to find it. What I found was not enough for me to stay. Rough area, I felt very unsafe walking alone, enough so I almost turned back. Curt employees who seemed disinterested. Smaller inside that wouldn't accommodate many and there was no way I was eating outside to be hackled. The large coffee I ordered was nothing to write home about. Overall, this one missed the mark for me. I love recommending a great, little coffeehouse. I would not recommend this one. read more
I checked out Scullery in the Tenderloin. I didn't have to wait so that was good. Got a latte $4.75, thought I got a deal until I saw the size of the cup, small about 9oz is my guess. I wanted a bear latte art and the girl let the guy make it for me! They have toast and pastries. I wanted the sticky bun that's from a bakery in Mtn View. Next time I'll get it. They have a frequent buyer program so I will be back! read more

It's a tiny place. There is some bar seating on either side of the small shop, but when three people are waiting for their order, it feels pretty crammed. I got my drink to go. They source the coffee they serve from local roasters. The drink I ordered, the Honey Lavender Latte, is listed on their online ordering system, but not on their handwritten menu in store. The drink was a great flavor; you could taste the lavender and it wasn't overly sweet. They state online that they make their own honey lavender syrup in house (w/lavender buds, honey, and raw sugar). For the quality/taste and price-point of their drinks, I recommend checking out Scullery the next time you're in search of coffee in SF. Pretty latte art too, which is always a plus! read more

Hi Samantha! Thanks for stopping by and trying the Dulce de leche…
Scullery sure knows how to wake someone up! For San Francisco pricing, the drinks are more than affordable and will get you wired up in the best way. The cafe truly emulates a hole-in-the-wall vibe so don't pass on it! The shop is tiny, several small stools surround the bar table against the wall, plus some chairs out front. More of a take-out spot but we chose to dine-in. The environment is a hip, artsy, and trendy vibe to it boasting coffee beans from local roasters. The baristas provide efficient and friendly service and appreciate their awesome latte art! The menu is small yet evolved. You can find modest pricing for espresso, coffees, teas, and specialty drinks. Savory and sweet toasts are also found here which look delicious. A popular hit seemed to be the Burnt Caramel Latte which I got with Oat Milk. As a caramel lover, this was uniquely crafted and well-balanced. The caramel was slightly smoky and subtly sweet. My companion got a Matcha Latte with Almond Milk which was good as expected. If you're looking for affordable delicious coffee in San Francisco, the Scullery is a good choice. It's located in the Tenderloin so views aren't the best and parking is limited to the street. It's a great spot with awesome service to stop to grab-and-go for any venture. read more
Definitely a contender for the top spot on my quest for San Francisco's best Avocado Toast. Perfectly ripe avocado topped with a perfectly fried egg, on a thick slice of seeded bread. The seeds were just short of overpowering for me, but it added a little punch, & my opinion is subjective. I showed up at 11:00am on a Sunday & there was a small crowd waiting for their order. Most people were there for a coffee, which I was told is terrific. Avocado toasts were also flying off the counter. My order was taken after a small wait, tea latte appeared in 5 minutes, & the toast arrived about 10mins later. No attitude from the staff who were working hard. Heads up, Scullery is mostly take- out since the counter seating pretty cramped, and there are only two one-person tables outside. I sat outside & was only asked for $ once. This is semi-Tenderloin after all, short walk from Union Square. So, 5 stars all around. I'll definitely be back. read more
