I had my screen replaced at CELLTECH. It cost about $135 for the service. Be sure to get a quote for the service on Yelp for a discount. The free tempered glass they put on my phone has really messed with the sensitivity of the touchscreen and I removed it after 4 days. I also wanted a new case since my last one didn't help prevent cracks. It looked like they had a large variety available, but the brand and product I wanted they only had in one color that I didn't like. I did buy a Kate Spade case but found after my purchase that Nordstrom had the same one for a couple bucks cheaper. While I waited for my phone, I walked down to the massage place on the same level of the mall. 20 min chair massage later I had my phone back. I had tried another business in a Addison, Cell Phone Repair Guys, and they were open shorter hours and had less accessories for sale. Also there is more to do at the mall while you wait. The only trouble is parking at Galleria. I'll come back here if I need their services again in the future. read more

I had my phone repaired at this location. It took 8 hours for this company to fix a full back cracked of my phone. I was quoted a $100 dollar to repair over the phone and when I went in person I was told that it's impossible. This upset me very much. I ended up getting discounted $10 from the original $150 which isn't much. Then I also purchased a case and a cover for my camera on my phone and the cover for my camera cracked within 1 week. Sai, at the Prime Outlets are all scammers. They provide you with a warranty on the receipt but when the phone doesn't work (from the beginning) they don't honor the warranty. We were told that the new screen needed to connect to the phone because it was a new device and that was the reason that it would not dial correctly. We were rushed away because it was a minute to them closing, so the phone was not repaired correctly, it was a broken screen now it's an all black screen. We were able to use the phone prior to taking it to them, now we can't use the phone at all. Out of $90 and he wants me to pay another $90. I suggest you not use them. read more

Went in, found the case I wanted and purchased it. While I should have done my research before hand, I never imagined the costs being ridiculously overpriced. Brought an iPad Air to have screen replaced due to crack. Seemed like a good deal for a company with decent reviews. Technician said he wouldn't know what exact price would be if he had to do more work once he removes the screen but gave a decent base price if not extra repair needed. Honestly I expected them to make something up to charge me more but didn't. Walked out of the store feeling good with my service thinking I didn't get duped. Didn't touch the iPad until I got my ballistic glass screen protector to avoid further damage. Once the glass came in and I was about to put it on I noticed that a corner of the iPad screen kept popping up. Took it back to store and lady told me I should have kept "constant" pressure on it until the glue they used cures. When asked why no one told me this when I picked it up, her reply was they should have but maybe they got sidetracked/busy. I asked her how I should maintain pressure without damaging the screen. The response I got was to buy a case that would do it or (basically) figure it out myself. Asked if I can stack heavy books over the iPad and was told as long as it was heavy enough. On a positive note to this visit, I was told I could come back if it still doesn't stick after some time. Fast forward a couple of weeks. Now the screen is completely coming off on the side with some wiring inside is starting to come out. Also, after repeated use, I noticed that certain spots in the screen are not touch screen capable and would result in me having to rotate the iPad to change view of site. To add icing to the cake, now my home button (which wasn't a problem to begin with) seems to have moved out of place and does not fit in the slot designed for it. Basically it can't even be pressed. Take my advice, if apple can do the repair for $50 more, it will be well worth that extra dough. Better than feeling like you threw away $130 to save $50. Low ratings for two reasons. First is price. I purchased a Bellingham car adapter with iPhone cable. I was in a hurry and didn't realize they would charge over $70 for an item that I could buy on amazon for $20 or at an airport shop for $35. They did not have prices on the display or the item, so I asked and they said it would let me know when we ring it up. I was distracted but still I should have checked the receipt. That's on me. The second is a bigger reason. I called to ask if there had been a mistake and the person who answered couldn't even tell me the price and said a manager had to talk to me. I called back later and here is the reason for one star. The manager was patronizing and dishonest. He told me it was a "special fast charger" and he couldn't refund me but if I ever lose it or have trouble he would give me anew one. SCAM ALERT. Absolutely zero business integrity. This is specifically regarding the kiosk at the Galleria towards the center of the mall. I spent $70 on some "airpods." The saleswoman told me that they would need to be charged before use. When I got to the car, I realized that the package was not sealed, the earbuds were already charged, and the right earbud had EAR WAX all over it. Disgusted, I walked all the way back through the mall to take them back. A different woman was there by then, and she apologized and offered to exchange me for the Pros (which I really didn't want because I prefer the ear buds without the cushion). However, I was grateful for the upgrade and decided to give them a chance. I went home, charged them up and tried to use them the next day... I couldn't even get through one song without them shutting off every few seconds. Then, after trying to listen to a few songs, making sure they were fully charged, re-starting my phone in case it was the bluetooth connection... the left ear bud stopped working all-together! At that point, I looked at the receipt and saw that there was a no-return policy and that I only had 7 days to exchange. So I took them back on my next off-day. The first woman (who sold me the first set with the ear wax) was there, and I told her about how much difficulty I had been having with their products. She tried on the headphones for herself and saw that they didn't work. She offered me to downgrade back to the originals, but at this point, my experience had been so horrible with this company that I simply wanted my money back. If the Pros were poor quality, clearly the regular airpods wouldn't be any better. She told me she couldn't refund me. I explained to her (which a customer should never have to do) that I had made this $70 purchase under the expectation that she was selling me a product that was functional, and that since they never provided me a functional product, they needed to refund my money. It's a matter of integrity, which Celltech obviously lacks. She refused. I understood that she wasn't in charge, and that as an employee she may have felt constrained by Celltech's unreasonable policy, so I then asked if she could provide contact information for her manager or the owner. She said no, and that the owner didn't have any contact information. I said, so you're telling me you really don't have your supervisor's phone number or email address? She said no. Then she LIED and said that she was the owner. I said, well, if you're the owner, you should care about your business enough to do the right thing here. The card machine was there and she could have refunded me if she wanted to, but I guess a refund would defeat the whole purpose of scamming. The 1-star Yelp reviews are an accurate reflection of this business. It's especially upsetting because they probably order their products for cheap from allieexpress, and now they're up-charging customers for poor quality knockoffs that don't even work. Here's my experience: I went here on 10/11/18 in search of iPhone 8 earbuds. To make a long story short, a Hindu/Arab dude convinced me to come in and get those earbuds for cheaper than the Apple Store. We had dropped the price down from $49.00 to $25.00; I had asked a Hispanic dude who was also working that day if I will hear static because I had purchased earbuds from Amazon a while ago, and heard static, he assured me that I won't. So, I purchased the earbuds, and left the store. As I was leaving the store I had tested the earbuds by placing a mock phone call, and I heard some static. I then went back to the store and advised the Hispanic and Hindu guys that I heard static on my phone and I want my money back. They told me about the no refund policy; ok I get it. The Hindu dude was acting very cocky with me talking about, "that's what you get for $25"...that comment he said made me raise my voice and I checked his a$$ and let him know that I didn't like his attitude because he was being cocky to me especially since I had spent my money! The Hispanic dude helped, and he had switched out another pair of earbuds for me. Those worked so far. I thanked him for that. ***DONT GO HERE !!!*** Went in to see about getting my IPhone X Camera Repaired , quoted me $120, proceeded to ask how much the cost would be to repair the entire phone as the back glass was broken aswell. The tech quoted $120 for full repair. Left phone said to be back in 30 minutes. Came back and he said it would be more since he didn't realize the back glass was broken. I was shocked as I repeated myself when asking him for a quote. Instead of pulling phone apart he should have waited for approval, by this point phone was in pieces. An options was not present to not move forward with the supposed repair. He charged me $189plus tax plus a credit card fee that was not disclosed. Phone has not been right since going there, camera was not replaced only a new cover. Bluetooth does not function, G.P.S is not functional. Horrible salesmanship. I went in to fix the back of my iPhone XS Max. The owner originally replaced it with a different color without my permission. Then when I asked him to return it to me with the original color he had me wait an extra 4 hours in his store until after the entire mall closed. It was just me and him and I felt very unsafe (I'm a smaller than average girl). He then got the part and replaced the back but did an awful job of putting the phone back together. The screen was half popped out. I asked him how he could run a business and return a phone in such a condition then he snatched the phone out of my hand and pressed it together to flatten it. I noticed he had several screws that he removed from my phone still left on his mat when he gave the phone to me. The phone was rattling inside. He then proceeded to overcharge me before he would hand me the phone back. He originally told me 150 for the fix when I called to bring it in. Then wouldn't let me leave unless I paid 420 (that was the discounted rate he gave me) for a phone with a fixed back but a bricked software. My phone worked fine before I gave it to him. I felt unsafe as he was raising his voice and was visibly angry so I paid in order to safely leave the store and retrieve my SIM card at the very least so I wouldn't lose all of my information. The next morning I took the phone to apple to see if they could fix the software that the CELLTECH man bricked. Once apple took it apart they said a large amount of the pieces inside were missing. The apple battery was replaced with a counterfeit battery and the wiring was wired to the wrong places. The CELLTECH man also destroyed the metal of the phone where the SIM card goes. Most people use a safety pin or a small sharp pointed object to eject it but he pried it open with something and dented the metal. Overall, I would not recommend going here. I wish I checked the yelp reviews before going in myself as I'm not the first with an experience like this here but I hope this helps future customers. read more

Cracked cell phone screen (S7 Edge) while traveling in Dallas. Many places were closed on Sunday, but they were open, available, and could take me right away. Convenient location in the Galleria on the 3rd floor. They confirmed they could fix my phone and promised it would be ready in 45 minutes, and they delivered on time. Phone looks and works good as new. They would have also sold me a new phone case at a discount since I did the repair, but I declined since I just spent $300. UPDATE & EDIT: This was originally a 5-star review based on my experience described above from the time I brought in my phone through when I received it after the repair was completed. To summarize the aftermath and the reason for the change in review: It turns out the repair had not been done correctly. I asked for a partial refund of half the cost of the repair. The clerk refused. I had to demand to speak to the manager/owner, who eventually approved the refund. As of this date, the phone is experiencing additional problems. I was thinking of downgrading my review to 1-Star because of all the problems I experienced both with the original repair AND the subsequent poor response of the store rep; however, I appreciated the owner's willingness to ultimately comply with my request, hence my 2-star review instead. (Details are below) ------ The morning after the repair was completed (Monday), I realized that the new screen was not actually attached properly. The home button, which should have protruded above the surface of the screen, was actually indented below the surface. Moreover, the capacitive buttons on either side of the home button (i.e. the back button and the open window button) were not functional unless you squeezed the phone very hard. I made arrangements to go back to CellTech later that afternoon. When I arrived, the in store rep examined the phone and stated that the previous technician had used too much glue and/or did not align parts correctly underneath the screen, causing it too be raised higher than it should be. He added that he would be happy to redo the repair; however, it would likely require that he attach a brand new screen to my phone since the one CellTech had installed on Sunday would get damaged in the process, and he would not be able to do the repair until late Tuesday afternoon/evening at the earliest. I explained that I was merely visiting Dallas and that I would not be able to wait until Tuesday afternoon/evening for them to redo the repair because I was leaving town Tuesday morning. He suggested that I buy a different phone case that would squeeze the phone. I was incredulous that this was his idea of a solution instead of an actual repair; at the same time, I completely understood that he couldn't do a proper repair without the necessary part. Given the impasse -- he not able to repair the phone until the proper parts arrived, me not able to wait until the parts arrived -- I suggested/requested a partial refund of 50% ($150), a fair and modest request. He shockingly said (a) that I should have been charged as much as $350 for the original repair since that was the price on their rate sheet, and (b) the phone mostly worked (i.e. if you press hard enough on the buttons, they'd respond). Because of those two factors, he refused to give me any refund. After some debate, I demanded to speak with the general manager or owner. Thankfully, he was willing to do that, and he called a gentleman named Sam. After speaking with Sam himself to explain the situation, the store rep handed the phone to me so that I could speak with Sam directly. Sam explained that his priority was to make me happy; he reiterated that this kind of mistake was not typical of the work that his store performed and that he was very sorry; furthermore, he strongly preferred to have the chance to fix the phone properly, but was most concerned with making me happy, and if a $150 partial refund would make me happy, then he'd be willing to do it. I appreciated Sam's gesture and let him know that given my situation, my preference was for the $150 partial refund. He then directed his in store clerk to give me the refund, and I left the store. It is now Thursday, four days after the initial attempt at a repair. The problems I experienced with the improper repair remain. In addition, I have a new problem -- a purple line running down the length of my phone screen from top to bottom. This confirms an improper repair. As stated above, all of these problems would have easily warranted a 1-star review, but I was willing to give 2-stars instead because of the owner's graciousness and willingness to comply with what I believe was a very reasonable request for a partial refund. I have no doubts that they would have been more than willing to attempt to fix the phone again; however, I cannot say with any certainty that the second attempt at a repair would have been successful or truly been good as new. read more

I told him what was the issue w/ my cell , he gave me a really good quote and advised me to go to Cell Tech when I am ready. I am severely dissatisfied with CELLTECH. I got my iPhone 6 screen replaced. However after just two weeks, the replacement screen stopped working. I took my phone back get it replaced since the screen had a 60 day warranty. The store clerk was very reluctant to replace it and passive aggressively insinuated that the screen had water damage even though that notion was simply preposterous. He begrudgingly replaced the screen and told me that this one does NOT have a warranty. If it dies, then I'm out of luck. Fast forward another month and the second screen is dying a slow and painful death. The big chunk of the pixels at the bottom 1/6th of the screen have died and the rest flicker on and off with the dead zone slowly expanding upwards. BE CAREFUL...switched the product I was going to buy saying the "latest version" just came in with better performance and slightly lower cost. Had to get my camera in my iPhone replaced. Was quoted $75-$150 and a replacement time of 30 minutes. They ended up charging me $225 and it took almost 2 hours. A few days later the camera they replaced started falling apart- the lens just came off. I came back in to have it fixed again on my lunch break and they said it would take 20 min. I left and came back 40 minutes later- still not done. When I finally came back, my phone was finished but they couldn't find it! It was eventually found but what a mess. They overcharged me, took way longer than usual to fix my phone and then when they fixed it, it wasn't even fixed properly! All things considered, that that isn't a terrible price for an 11 pro, so I pay the $220. The young lady and her manager made it CRYSTAL CLEAR that there was a two year warranty on the glass if it breaks.
