Great lunch spot in Napa. Loved that the menu isn't overwhelming but still had plenty of options to choose from. I went with the pork sandwich and found it super tasty and filling. Burrata and calamari appetizers were great choices as well. Service is quick and friendly. Would love to come back again.

Wonderful place for brunch. There was a variety of breakfast dishes and lunch. The family enjoyed the French toast, calamari, roasted red pepper soup, chilaquiles, scramble, eggs Benedict, and so much more. Everything had so much flavor and presented very beautifully. The service was amazing from the hostess to the servers we were welcomed with a smile and taken care of. The patio area was so lovely and airy... you felt like you are in a secret garden. Will definite be back.

Celadon is always great! Never had dinner here before but it was good. The menu is small but good. We started with the calamari. It was ok. The salmon with couscous and the primavera pasta were healthy choices. Simple. The sticky ribs were incredible with the best garlic fries. The wild mushroom risotto was also amazing and full of flavor. Creamy with the rice perfectly cooked.

I was skeptical that this place was going to be memorable, but it was very good! The walkway into the restaurant is lush and has beautiful foliage. The interior is ok - seems a little older and less interesting than the outside. I was there for a private dinner - the food was mostly very good. Standout items included: Pork belly lettuce cups Calamari (the glaze totally makes it) Truffled risotto (strong truffle flavor!) The roasted half chicken with gnocchi (Super tender and I know roast chicken doesn't sound like much, but this one was VERY good) Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would come back!

Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Portion to Price: 3/5 Overall: The food was good and had a great ambiance The extended review... Food: 3/5 - Had the carpaccio, brussels, and the pork chop. All were pretty standard fare. Service: 3/5 - Standard service. Ambiance: 4/5 - A lovely setting in their rustic indoor patio. Portion to Price: 3/5 - A little on the pricy side but I mean we are talking about Napa.

We had a reservation here but it took about 20 minutes for our table to be ready for a group of five. The restaurant has an indoor/outdoor feel which was unexpected- make sure you bring a sweater. It was a little sleepy here- my friend actually fell asleep at the table lol. The food was ok- my chicken piccata was wayyyy too salty. I love salt and I could barely eat it. My friends enjoyed their meals ok- especially the lamb shank. The seafood pasta and sticky ribs were just average. Undecided if I would visit again...

The ambiance was great from the minute you walk into the beautiful plant array and into the restaurant. The service 5 star + AND the food Moroccan Lamb Shank and the Pork Tenderloin cooked to perfection. Melon and prosciutto was very tasty along with the bread and olive oil. Perfect evening celebrating my wife's 77th birthday finishing up with a wonderful lemon meringue pie and Crème brûlée. Will be back. You get what you pay for. Excellence. Thank you J&E Vacaville

Food was delicious. In my opinion, menu was simple but catered to every palette. Service was exceptional and they didnt mind with food alternatives and alterations. Ps. They don't do separate checks, but did offer to split cards from the total check. I recommend bringing cash for big groups. Ambiance is beautiful, perfect spot for a brunch on the weekend.

Made reservations for brunch with a friend. Arrived on time and it was pretty empty so we got to choose are seats. Nice indoor type of patio dining which was very nice. Service was really good for the most part. My biggest complaint is food. I ordered the chicken sandwich which the chicken was completely burnt and over done. I couldn't even eat it because it was so hard. I did tell our waiter but nothing was done. I couldn't eat the sandwich so I only ate the fries. I tried the pancakes which tasted good. I wouldn't be back as long as the chef is cooking fried chicken this way. There are way too many restaurants in Napa to choose from.

What a fabulous evening and such a treat to dine at Celadon on a bustling Friday evening. Here for a special wine event with my family, there were a few other restaurant buy outs that evening as well. So wonderful to see a space and place so alive and vibrant early evening. Our party was seated in the back of the restaurant with easy access through the side door. We took a tour of the restaurant shortly after arrival and there's another beautiful and (huge) room with open spacing for larger parties/events. There's only one restroom inside the restaurant past the bar area (to note, wonderful drinks). After getting a code there are more restrooms outside, fyi! The food was superb and very on par for dining in Napa Valley. Celadon is located on Main Street, so not too bad for travelers from the East Bay. The passed appetizer were delicious ~ spicy calamari, apple/cheese crostini, and chicken lettuce cups. We had a curated menu to pair with specific wines for an event, so not sure if some of these items are typically on the main menu. We then had a choice of starter, main, and dessert. I chose the beet salad, the Moroccan Braised Lamb Shank (with golden raisin and toasted almond couscous), and the bread pudding. The way the meat pulled off the bone so delicate and juicy..perfection. We also had a pasta course that paired with one of the wines I noticed was on the menu ~ the fusilli pasta with bolognese sauce. Hearty, comforting, and so flavorful. My husband ordered the Grilled Allen Brothers New York Steak and for me, the scalloped potato accompaniment stole the show..so rich and decadent, yum! Honestly all in all, the spot is so special and quite the Napa to-do. We felt honored to have been invited to such a well executed event to this spot that we may have not been able to try otherwise. Wonderful staff in such beautiful digs. Dreaming about that lamb shank, highly recommend if looking for a night out in celebration.

We sat is a cute outside area since there was a party inside. There was no issues with temperature. It was comfortable. The food was good and they comp the dessert because the table next to us was extra load. This was totally unexpected and very nice of them. The service was good and we will be back.

This place is definitely a vibe! I came to Napa like everyone else to have good wine and good food. This place is definitely it!! We made reservations ahead of time as we were told it can get busy at times. The place was nice and quiet with a farmhouse rustic touch but nothing short of elegant. A friend and I ordered the sangria for cocktails and it was one of the best sangrias I've had! the pork loin with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts and topped off with bacon. I got the Marsala sauce on the side and it was heavenly!! The pork loin was tender and cooked to perfection, the mashed potatoes were creamy and the Brussels had the perfect roast and perfect amount of crunch. The bacon was a great touch as well. The food was delicious and I'll definitely come back to try other dishes or order the pork loin again!

Dinner itself was great. Service service was a bit spotty as they had a large event in one section and I think they were a bit understaffed in the area where we were eating. You could see all of the employees really hustling and trying their best. My scallops (nightly soecial) and his lamb shank were good. The sweet coconut fried prawns were good.

    Is the restaurant dog friendly?

On the patio. Service dogs are welcome inside as well as on the patio.

Do they have a corkage fee?

    Yes $20

Is it okay to walk in this coming Saturday 2/13/21 or do we need to have a reservation for 2 adults and 1 child?

You definitely need a reservation. Celadon has one of the best outdoor patios in downtown Napa. So, it's a favorite for many!

Is this a good restaurant for an anniversary dinner?

Yes! This would be the perfect spot. Food is phenomenal and very cool atmosphere. My sister and I sat in the back pathway area that was botanically covered. Cool scenery and great food.

    Is reservation needed?

Not unless they are busy, but you can make reservations on opentable so it's very convenient

From the moment we pulled into the beautifully manicured grounds (with plenty of easy parking, a surprisingly underrated luxury in Napa), the evening felt special. We arrived about 15 minutes before our reservation and settled into the stunning bar for a cocktail. The bartender was welcoming and friendly, and the bar itself deserves a moment of appreciation: gorgeous stonework, soft embedded lighting, and some of the most comfortable leather bar stools I've ever had the pleasure of lingering in. Once our friends arrived, we were immediately seated in a lovely corner table in a beautiful dining room. Then the real fun began. Every single thing we ordered was exceptional. Cocktails were expertly crafted. The pork belly and watermelon appetizer was one of those dishes that makes everyone at the table stop talking for a moment. The roasted beet salad was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented. And then there was the service. Our team, Jose and Zach, struck that perfect balance between polished professionalism and genuine warmth. Our group tends to be a little cheeky, and they were great sports, engaging with us throughout the evening and making the experience feel personal without ever missing a beat. Fresh rolls appeared, accompanied by enough butter to satisfy even this butter-loving crowd (a detail that should never be underestimated). For entrees, we enjoyed a perfectly cooked filet mignon with savory cheesy potatoes with asparagus and carrots, an outstanding pork chop, a sea bass special, and a swordfish dish with each earning rave reviews around the table. Every plate was beautifully executed. No gimmicks. No unnecessary flourishes. Just incredibly well-prepared food made with care and confidence. What I appreciate most about Cordeiro's is that it knows exactly what it is. This isn't a flashy, see-and-be-seen downtown Napa dining experience with eye-watering prices and culinary gymnastics. It's something far better: a timeless steakhouse delivering exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and an atmosphere that encourages you to settle in, relax, and enjoy the people you're with. As if the evening couldn't get any better, Bashar stopped by our table and spent time chatting with us about the property, its history, and the incredible effort that goes into maintaining the grounds. He was an absolute delight. He even rolled over a beautiful cordial cart and helped us finish the evening with port, salted caramel liqueur, and an another other after-dinner treat that provided the perfect finale. I was dining with three true local Napa folks who had attended various events at Cordeiro's over the years, and it was fun hearing their stories and connections to the place. By the end of the night, all four of us were smiling, already talking about when we'd return. Great food. Great people. Great atmosphere. Cordeiro's isn't trying to be the newest thing in Napa. It's busy being one of the best.

Once I got the text that my table for 1 was ready, I was thrilled to finally try some authentic Italian food since it had been a while. The hospitality and service were phenomenal! As soon as I ordered my appetizer and entrée, the server brought out complimentary bread with dipping oil made with olive oil, shallots, and garlic. It was magnificent and definitely got me ready for the meal. I ordered the meatballs as my appetizer, and they asked if I wanted Parmesan cheese on top. I quickly said YES. The host and I were laughing because they said, "Don't be shy now, I can give you more!" Needless to say, I had a good amount of cheese dandruff covering my meatballs, and it was absolutely flavorful and delicious. When my ravioli came out, we had the exact same interaction with the Parmesan, and I was cracking up! The last time I had ravioli was back in October of last year, and I must say, this was probably the best ravioli I've had so far. The portion wasn't overwhelmingly large, but it was more than enough for me to do some damage. The entrée was packed with flavor, and I completely cleaned my plate. Overall, this was such a fun and cool experience. The food was delicious, the service was welcoming, and the little interactions made the meal even more memorable. After I finished eating, an older gentleman even came by and gave me a piece of candy! Definitely a great spot to check out if you're in Napa and craving some Italian food.

It was our first time at Cole's Chop House and omg, the food was excellent!…read more Cole's has a classic, upscale steakhouse feel, very cozy and elegant at the same time. My husband had the Black Angus Cowboy Beef Chop - Bone In Rib Eye Steak (24 oz), and it was delicious. He said it was perfectly cooked and very well seasoned. The steak was nice and thick with a beautiful sear. I had their special Surf N' Turf ( Maine Lobster Tail with Filet Mignon ). Just a sweet, tender, juicy lobster tail alongside a perfectly cooked filet mignon. For a side, we both shared Yukon Gold Potato and Gruyère Gratin. It was creamy, cheesy, and golden on the top. For dessert, we got amazing Amaretto Crème Brûlée that was garnished with candied hazelnuts. It was just perfect! Rich and flavorful, but not too sweet, with nice caramelization and crunchy hazelnuts on top. I also got a glass of Domaine Carneros "Brut Rosé" which was a great match to my meal. Our server, Monica, provided exceptional service. She was super attentive, warm, and welcoming, she made sure our glasses were never empty, and checked on us at just the right times. Monica made the whole evening feel special. I also wanted to mention the hostess, who was so thoughtful. I was limping when I walked in, and she noticed that right away and immediately offered us a table on the first floor so I wouldn't have to climb the stairs. It was such a kind gesture and made us feel cared for. All the staff were amazing and super attentive. Excellent service! Thank you, Cole's Chop House, we had a wonderful experience, and we are definetely coming back!

Dined at Cole's Chop House for the first time and really enjoyed both the meal and the atmosphere!…read more One thing I really appreciated was our waitress letting us know that, because of the UV from the sunlight, our steaks might look like they weren't cooked to the temperature we requested. She was absolutely right! I probably would have questioned it otherwise, but my steak was actually cooked perfectly. Also, the espresso martini was delicious and a definite must if you're an espresso martini lover who prefers to actually taste the espresso rather than having an overly sweet drink. It had a great coffee-forward flavor without the sweetness overpowering it. My only suggestion would be to always mention when something isn't included in the stated price. I ordered the baked potato and was asked if I wanted everything on it, including cheese and bacon. Of course I said YES! What I didn't realize was that the cheese and bacon were each an additional $3. It wasn't anything crazy, but knowing ahead of time might have changed what I ordered. At $18 for the fully loaded baked potato, I may have chosen a different side, or my friend and I could have split one and ordered another side to share. Overall, we had a great experience. My steak was cooked perfectly, our waitress was attentive without hovering, and the atmosphere made for a really enjoyable dinner. I'd absolutely come back and recommend Cole's to anyone looking for a great steak dinner in Napa. And one tip: MAKE A RESERVATION! We were seated around 4:45 on a Saturday, and it filled up FAST. Next time, I'm taking everyone's advice and trying the second floor!
