Wanted to give 4.5 rating - 5 stars for the pool and .5 star off for the cool decking - but can't so rounded down. After 23 years our plaster "play" non-diving pool, spa and cool decking needed to be updated/remodeled. After speaking with a few companies, we decided to go with CDC Pools. Cassie was great to work with and helped us decide on tile and pebble sheen finish. Jason was our site manager and was easy to contact and returned calls/texts quickly. Everything concerning the interior of the pool and spa went as scheduled and we could not be happier with the finished product. They did an excellent job on the tile and pebble sheen (those guys really are craftsmen). I decided to replace the 2 round drains in the bottom of the pool with a flat channel drain so our robot would not get "stuck" anymore nor would we hit our feet on the drains - and this was done expertly as well. Also, the old spa jet inlets/outlets protruded from the side an inch or 2, so as to poke you in the back if sitting in front of them. They are all now flush with the wall looking and feeling much better. The only issue I had was a few inches of grout that needed to be redone on the dam wall. The cool decking was another matter and while below are not large issues, to me most could and should have been avoided. I was told decking would not be painted until interior work was completed to avoid any possible "damage". Came home and it had been painted - after demo but before interior had been started. This I could have lived with but the real irritation was that the "plugs" you unscrew to put an umbrella or volleyball net - 2 had been painted over and could not be unscrewed and the 3rd had been taken off and painted over covering the threads so you could not screw that one in. Also, the cover for the skimmer had not been painted but the auto fill and tablet covers had been. The decking finish did need to be touched up due to "damage" while the interior was completed and after the pool/spa had been refilled we scheduled a time for this to be fixed. I stayed home that day as I wanted to go over everything with them. Scheduled time came/went and after a couple more hours I contacted site manager Jason to inquire where they were and was informed they would not make it - so I wasted half day waiting on them which would have been fine, as things do come up, but I should have been informed of it. 2 days later I contacted Jason again as to when cool decking would be done and was informed, he thought it had been? NO, but they did get to it within a couple of hours of my call. Ultimately all was taken care but it wasn't as smooth a process as I had hoped or experienced with the pool interior. So, I do recommend them as our pool looks great but if having them do cool decking make really sure communication and expectations are set early on. read more

CDC just completed resurfacing our pool with their Baja Mini Pebble and installed new waterline tile. It looks great and we couldn't be happier with the result. Our sales representative Cassie was very professional, immediately followed up with our questions,and concerned about our satisfaction. The entire CDC Pool team was terrific and the crews took care to protect our travertine decking and their cleanup was great. Our job superintendent, Jason, could not have been more helpful and responsive. There were some minor 1 day delays along the way, but they were able to complete our pool by our requested date. We highly recommend anyone planning to "re-do" their pool to select CDC Pools! read more

My expectations have been exceeded!! I hired CDC to remodel my pool and I required a very specific design to meet my needs. Jim Muller came to write an estimate and was quick to see my vision. Once I signed the contract Ray became my foreman. The workmanship and professionalism has been top notch. The design is amazing and completely exceeded what I expected the pool to look like. All of the workers have been great! Always on time, they are very nice to work with, they always clean up after themselves. Everyone has been very polite. I can't wait to see the finished project! I have used CDC Pools over the years for a number of jobs from resurfacing our pool to replacing the motor and salt system. I looked at the other reviews, some very negative, and to be perfectly honest we experienced many of the same problems that others complained of --- poor communication between workers and office staff, lack of follow through, and attempts to up-sell. Having said that, the reason I am giving them 4 out of 5 stars is that after I complained long and loud, they finally did respond and took care of every issue I was having with them. They went above and beyond. It would have been better if they had gotten things right in the first place, but the fact that they made a huge effort and made everything right gives me hope that they are working hard to improve customer service. In other words, because they are making a real effort at improving their company's reputation, this might be an ideal time to hire this company. read more

As a pool service company owner, I'd looked for a good company to refer to my customers for years, with generally bad to horrible results. Three or four years ago I started using CDC Pools as my go to referral. I have had several customers use them and all have been happy with the service and end product. It would be unrealistic to expect to never have an error or mistake make and CDC has made a small percentage - BUT in EVERY case they have efficiently and happily made corrections. CDC provides a quality product, excellent service, and a fair price. With CDC, my search for a quality company to refer has come to an end - I also plan to use them to remodel my own pool when the time comes. read more

we were recommended to CDC Pools by a few trusted people. We got 3 bids on our remodel, and they were the highest price, but within our budget. We were swayed by all the positive reviews they had online. Tim our sales person did a great job with suggestions and follow up on getting a contract agreed to. then....... it has been a total cluster. Scheduling ( Actually keeping a schedule) has been non existent, and more importantly, The majority of tasks that we received a schedule for were missed. Not only missed, but no calls to say they were going to miss them, so wasted days sitting at home for contractors not showing up. When we would call and ask for the Real schedule, most times it was crickets ( No response). Usually, it would take a call to our sales rep, who would get involved, then people would show up, most times, unannounced. Today is a good example. got a call on Friday last week saying deck people would be here on Monday. Got a text at 6;15 am Monday, saying wont be Monday, but now will be Tuesday. Tuesday no one shows, so send message to job foreman asking when they going to show up, no answer, so today on Wednesday, i contacted our sales rep, to ask what was going on, he said he would check. 30 mins later a crew shows up, unannounced again. We realize this is busy season, but communication is key to a successful relationships read more

Well, where to start? We chose CDC Pools because they have a showroom and sales people, they were okay at first and communicated, especially about getting their money but other than that it took weeks longer than they said, they also said they would call the day before and let us know who and when the contractors would show up, this did not always happen, they did try and correct it but it was very frustrating. (we have a dog who has to be locked up) They finished the pool and it looks great but my husband noticed an issue with one of the jets being cross threaded and sticking out from the plaster. We called to have them fix it and they sent someone who said it looks like it is working and left. This is unacceptable and we have called and emailed numerous times and still have not heard back. This remodel was almost 10,000.00 and is supposed to be under warranty. Also be aware we saved almost a 1000.00 buying our own equipment and having it installed by a certified dealer. Overall at this time we have no confidence in their warranty and cannot recommend this company. Buyer beware read more

CDC Pools is awesome! My old hot tub died after many many years. It was there when I moved into my house 15 years ago and gave me many hours of relaxation. But when it gave its final bubble, I was at a loss of what to do. I had no clue how to dispose of the old spa, or how to go about finding the perfect replacement spa. CDC Pools made the process so easy. They provided a number of options to choose from, with many shapes, sizes, colors and accessories. I picked one that was the approximate size of my old spa, but the new model has a ton of extra features to include a "lounger," LED lights, waterfall, and something called a "foot volcano" that delivers an amazing amount of glorious pressure to my feet. On the day of delivery, Justin arrived with an electrician and three burly guys. They quickly disconnected the old spa and hauled it away, making room for the new spa. They took great care to make certain this 500LB beast was centered perfectly on my patio and took time to wait for me to fill the spa (which took some time). They were very patient and when the spa was finally full, they fired up the juice and walked me thru the process of learning the various features. They really took a great deal of time to make sure I was satisfied. But the most amazing part for me was their integrity. When I ordered the spa, I ordered some matching steps. Unfortunately, they didn't arrive with the spa. Justin called the company that makes the spa, and they agreed to ship them out immediately. I asked if it would be OK if I could hold back the cost of the steps until they arrived...but to my surprise, Justin would not accept any payment stating, "until you get the steps, I don't want you paying a dime". WOW. That just doesn't happen these days. I've spent the last 2 nights relaxing in my new hot tub and being thankful for CDC Pools. read more

After we decided to remodel our pool we must have had over 15 valley companies come out to our house and give us estimates. We decided to go with Cassie and CDC Pools. Cassie is extremely knowledgeable and upfront with timelines and pricing. CDC wasn't the cheapest nor where they the most expensive but they sure delivered. They where done ahead of schedule and everything turned out excellent, we where happy we chose Cassie and CDC Pools , it was a pleasure working with them and I would recommend them to all my family and friends. read more

This makes me even more frustrated that you are trying to blame this on one person. Your office, scheduling and crews are to blame. My first project manager did the best he could. When you changed to a new person I still had to try and reach your office to see what was going on. After the change, I then had to deal with a rude (I am guessing due to being overworked) person when my first project manager was nothing but nice all of the time. And now, after I leave this review you have responded to me twice in two days and Luis (who was wonderful) was out immediately to complete my job. It's just too bad it had to come to this. I was so, so, so, so patient.*** I am shocked at the amount of good reviews this company has received. The entire job from start to "not even done yet" has been super frustrating. I was super patient up until about a month ago and now this is just ridiculous. Poor communication, no time frame and usually a day late on start days, and no call backs from office after repeatedly trying to get this fixed. Here we are after starting on January 19th not completely done. It took my landscape company only 3 weeks (travertine, irrigation of front and back, artificial grass, plants!) to complete the entire yard and then CDC was supposed to finish their part. Nope...still not done. Although they were very communication and called me right away to let me know they would not surface my pool until the final payment was made. The final payment was made March 5th. Here we are May 9th and I am going to have to call AGAIN because they came out Friday to complete the aerator and granite between the rock on the waterfall, but I haven't heard a peep since and I have a piece of travertine they took off and didn't put back on. To complete the granite they needed to drain some of the pool. Instead of using the drain pipe to properly drain what was needed they flooded my side yard. Would not recommend CDC Pools. read more

Although the deck looks nice, the overall project overall was a huge disappointment and not at all satisfactory. For $8000 plus to re-do a deck, it should be a spectacular project. They were done in three days and all of the issues listed below lasted for weeks! I, and the family, and hired help, had to clean up the mess to make the space livable again. CDC should be ashamed of their lack of pride and professionalism. A job half done is a failure. The single fact that they left the pool safety fence in a pile and never attempted to replace it, has potentially catastrophic consequences if we were not diligent with our youngest and other child visitors. Shame. I sent this email to CDC when they asked for the final payment of the project. I have received not a SINGLE call, text, or email. Further, no one has offered to remedy the issues listed. This was NOT a sweat equity project. I paid top dollar for what I thought was a top-notch contractor. They simply charged my card and called it good. 1. There is still remnants of tape and plastic on our back porch where your crew hastily attached plastic after we insisted on some sort for curtain to protect the back porch area. 2. Landscape was NOT restored to original condition. In fact, some areas will have to be recovered by our landscaper. There are piles of dirt, rocks displaced, plants with over-spray on them. 3. Response to repeated requests for taking care of items was slow at best. Repeated attempts failed to yield results. 4. Soil around the back yard was contaminated while crew rinsed buckets into our driveway area. 5. Two empty scrap/waste buckets were left on site. 6. The entire site was a dust-covered mess. All of our furniture, windows, equipment, and all other surfaces were covered with dust. No effort at all was made to clean after the deck was complete. My Wife paid two of her staff to clean. 8 hours. 7. Crew covered up one of the holes required for our pool fence that THEY removed but did NOT replace or clean. It also was covered in dust. I had to discover this and arrange for your team to repair. 8. CDC sent one guy out to work on the site and had NO IDEA why he was there or what he was supposed to do. My Wife gave him a list of things to do and he said "I need to call my Supervisor". Then left. When we started this project, I was crystal clear on my expectations and told your team that I was going to be critical in that the job was bid (and excepted by me) for over $8000. I did not try and barter or bring you down on cost. I was specific that I wanted my yard back to its original form and function and was told it would be done. At this point I will just accept that I hired a poor contractor and just pay the bill. I hope that if I have any issues that I will be able to persuade you to make good on any warranty issues. I suspect I've gotten what I have simply because I owed you the remainder of the bill. read more

I live in North East Mesa and my pool was coming on 15 years old. It was starting to crack and needed updating. I got 3 separate quotes and selected CDC Pools for the job. They had the backing from my pool guy as well as from Leslie's Pool Supply. I could tell these guys were pros. I basically went with every color suggestion/stone recommendation they shared. Because of the age of the diving board and liability that i think comes along with one, we took out the diving board and replaced it with a nice boulder. We even upgraded the existing light to an LED light. The pool ended up better than we could have expected. Everything was done right on time and they were extremely communicative of the process and schedule. I had some follow up questions and minor concerns and they quickly responded to them and didn't stop until I was 100% happy. Be warned of going with mom & pop shops that don't have the history and experience that a company like CDC pools has. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone that is in the market to redo their pools. read more

I contacted CDC Pools for a quote on a remodel. Several of my neighbors had their pools redone by CDC Pools and all are happy with the work. I have a big Master diving pool, which is 20x40x9. I visited their showroom in Chandler to look at samples. My contact was Ms.Selle, and from beginning to end, CDC Pools has been FANTASTIC! Ms.Selle kept me informed as to when crews were coming, what to expect, and if I had any questions, she was always available to answer them. The destruction / demo went quick, and the construction / rebuild went just as quick .All the crews who were involved, took great care in cleaning up when they were done, and allowing me to take as many pictures / video's as I wanted. All in all, I can see why my neighbors are satisfied, as I too am now a very happy pool owner and a proud member of the CDC Pool family. read more

We contracted with CDC Pools in December 2017 for a large ($35K) overhaul of an old diving pool that still had a whip system to clean the bottom, badly cracked cool decking, and a cracked concrete slab. Since the cost of this job was going to be larger than our first home purchase in 1977 (gulp), we wanted to make sure that we hired a skilled, qualified company, that knew materials, could provide helpful design suggestions, and one we could count on the fully complete the job to our satisfaction. After obtaining competitive bids, we decided to go with CDC. Cassie Selles, who contracted the job for CDC, was nothing short of amazing. She knows her company, knows pool remodeling ins and outs, and was able to give us advice on materials. (Artistic pavers vs Travertine, minipebble vs plaster, pool color etc.) Our job began on January 11th and was to be completed by February 28. Due to adept scheduling and crews, our job was complete on February 3rd! (Cassie came out this morning and we added additional paver work to the front of our house!) Here's our information that will help you as you consider CDC Pools: 1. Bid and pricing: Not the cheapest bid, but competitive, and we felt well worth the expertise and security we would have knowing that company is a long time valley company that would stand behind their work. If you are remodeling, confidence in the company's expertise is important so that you can address any issue that comes up with an old pool. We had no additional costs because of the careful bidding from CDC. 2. Scheduling and crews: Because of the stable crews, we were extremely pleased with the progress of our project. We watched the paver and chip out crews work very long days and with care for our property. It was always left clean and we had no complaints from neighbors around us. We knew when crews were coming, asked them to use only a designated gate for entrance and exit, and they were respectful of our requests. 3. Job supervision and management: Our supervisor Sergio, Cassie, job foremen, and the CDC office staff were available to answer questions and communicate when we needed them to. Justin, the job foreman for the paver crew, made time to meet with us personally to answer questions about the Artistic Paver material and to address specific drainage issues. As with any job, as property owners, it's important to make sure you ask questions and understand what is being done and how things are going. CDC was always available to us. We hope this helps you as you consider your pool remodel. It's a big job, you want it done right and you want a company that will stand behind their work long term. This si the second review I've written about CDC Pools and am glad to do it. As a former business owner myself I've always felt that problems were opportunities to really show what my company stood for, and that was to take care of my customers needs and concerns in a timely and a correct manner. CDC Pools obviously feels the same way. I had my pool deck remodeled late last year and an unforeseeable problem arose this March. I contacted Jerod in warranty and he scheduled the deck people to be at my house for two days to make sure everything was done correctly. We had CDC bid on redoing our pool. Cassie was great and suggested some travertine pavers on a patio that we had not considered doing. Their bid was better than others and it turned out beautiful! We love the completed redesign. All of the workers who showed up were nice and did a great job. They cleaned up after they completed a days work and we love our pool! After several months, I did contact him because my pool had started to grow a mustard-colored algae that had never grown before. Even though the problem may not have been the fault of the resurfacing, Justin arranged for the pool to be drained and acid washed free-of-charge. First of all, CDC does not build new pools, they only remodel existing pools. Our pool needed a makeover. The guy who does our pool repairs recommended CDC; however, I decided to get three other bids. Not only was CDC far more knowledgeable about the pools, they were also the lowest bid. Our pool is a larger than normal residential pool surrounded by brick planters and mature landscaping. The yard has difficult access, and I am a perfectionist. This job was going to be challenging. We decided to replaster, retile, and put in new decking (we had Kool-deck from the 1980s.) My most difficult decision was the decking - there are a lot of choices. CDC has all of the decking options OUTSIDE of their showroom. It was nice to check out the coolness of different materials in the summertime - just kick off your shoes, and walk around on the different types of pool decking. Pool interiors were shown UNDER WATER - the way you will see it in your pool. CDC works with wheelbarrows, NOT backhoes, so they didn't want to tear down part of my brick fencing (a relief). The work began - I was pretty nervous. Remember, I am a perfectionist. I was amazed at how efficient the teams are at CDC. They explained to me how everything would proceed. They finished EVERYTHING in less than 2 weeks. Each and every team (there is a chipping team, a tile team, a decking team, and a plaster team) were truly amazing. I was home every day watching these guys. They are the hardest workers I have ever seen. They were very professional in their work, and also cleaned up at the end of each day. I had some trouble integrating the new travertine decking with existing brick steps, but the deck supervisor made some suggestions, and it turned out BEAUTIFULLY. I am so very pleased with our new pool. The new plaster, the new tile ( a LOT of it), and the new travertine decking are absolutely gorgeous. Every stage exceeded my expectations. We just got our pool resurfaced. Our home was built in 1986 and the rebar had starting showing rust and such in 3 places so we couldn't keep the algae at bay, we needed to do this quickly. I got three estimates from a large, medium and small company. We reviewed: How many pools have you built or remodeled so far?, How soon can you do it?, How long to complete?, What is the payment method? And What brand do you prefer to use on resurfacing? In the end the combined price, timeline and special offers from CDC Pools was the winner. Cassie Selle was our contact and she was great to work with. Not only did she explain the products and tiles available, but she also outlined the timeline which could be several weeks. Our resurfacing lasted 17 calendar days, from the moment they drained the pool to putting in the first month chemicals, however we did in December and not in the busy season. Some Best Know Methods: you must see the products at the showroom and feel the textures under water. Also, see how you like the product in the sun and in the shade. I kept in touch with both Cassie and Ray, the superintendent (or project manager) via text and they answered very quickly. My husband and I would recommend CDC pools for having people that care and do a great job. read more

After the fact customer service wasn't pleasant. Amillio took it upon his self to suggest that the final inspection wasn't needed before plastering. This is not the case. Please do not let getting your pool quicker sway your decision making for better judgment even after you told him this was the case. This is not the way to do business. After I called him and inform him that the final inspection "is " needed before plastering he changed his tune and shifted blame to me, the customer, suggesting insisted I wanted to move forward anyways. After I told him this wasn't true and he stated that the inspection is not for them he got rude and irate and hung the phone on the me, instead of rectifying the issue. I will never recommend Amillio customer service to anyone nor CDC until they either coach him on proper procedures on how to deal with wrong information thats brought to his attention. read more

I dont even know where to start, CDC pools is unreliable,the communication is horrible,scheduling was a nightmare,to the point I had to get upset with them, we were told 4 weeks it took 9 weeks, ruined my yard were they stored a self made 'water pit'.Our pool still does not run properly, and we have notified them several times and no one has gotten back to Us. Our firepit that was installed is faulty,still waiting for that to be replaced. I am so diappointed in CDC as a company. We just had our pool refinished by CDC, they did a fantastic job! We had several quotes from other companies and they are very fair with their prices. Mark was our sales man, he always showed up when he said he would and didn't over promise just to get the sale. We went with Baja color quartz, new tile, and some new plumbing as there were existing leaks by the pump. They set very clear expectations on time line for the job and stuck to it. Sergio was the superintendent for the job and he was great. I hate to say that we were that customer who called with a ton of questions quite often, but Sergio always answered the phone or called right back and patiently addressed our concerns. He even came himself to replace the tile, you don't often see a superintendent getting down and dirty and doing the work themselves. We did have a leak in the new pluming but the pool was empty when they replaced the plumbing so there was no way for them to test it. Once the pool was refilled and chemicals in, they came out to fix the leak right away. Overall, it was a great experience and we have a beautiful new pool. Run away (don't walk) if you are thinking about contracting with CDC Pools to remodel your pool. We signed a contract with CDC pools on March 1 for a simple re-plaster, re-tile, and new pool equipment. It is now May 1 and we are still looking at a big hole in the ground! CDC pools requires 1/2 down at signing of contract and another flat fee of $8200 after chip out. CDC did the chip out of the old plaster and tile on day 1 (a month ago.) Our pool remodel was $20k and after 1 day of work from CDC pools we paid more than $18k. We were assigned a "field supervisor", Jeff, who we have not heard from since the chip out! We hired CDC in mid Feb 2017 to remodel our pool. We were told 2 weeks for the project. It is now into the 2nd week of May and they have yet to finish the project. We have mottling in the color of the new pebbletec, travertine tile borders that were not cut properly and just shoved in to try to make them fit. This generates a choppy looking border and lots of sharp edges. The grout in the waterline towel is all different colors ranging from white to dark grey. Supervisor came out to inspect and said they would be back to fix it which was 3 weeks ago. I haven't seen or heard anything from them since then other than the accounting office which is looking for their last $500, which thankfully I held back until job was completed. I had a different pool company put in my pool in 2011 but had to contacted CDC Pools because my concrete under the cool deck was deteriorating and the other company was no longer in business. CDC Pools could not have been any better to work with. They made several visits to my residence in Casa Grande to make sure they understood the problem then came up with a solution. They stripped off the old decking, encapsulated the concrete in epoxy, re-decked the surface, glass beaded the tile, and gave the interior a light acid wash. The price was reasonable and the service fantastic. They kept in communication with me always letting me know what was next, who was coming and when they would be there. Their people went above and beyond in their jobs, and the whole process only took three weeks. I have already recommended CDC Pools to several other friends. Great job guys thanks. read more

We recently contracted with CDC to remodel our 22 year old pool. Everyone involved with the project was polite, prompt and professional. I was impressed right from the beginning with my initial meeting with salesman Dennis, who explained all aspects of the remodel and, without any hard sell approach whatsoever, offered his advice in helping me choose the features that were right for my pool. Subsequently, the office staff were always cordial and helpful whenever I called. The construction phase was carried out efficiently and with a minimum of disruption or mess. Superintendent Kevin who oversaw the project from the beginning always made himself available and his knowledge and abilities, as well as his pleasant demeanor gave me a sense of confidence that the work would be done right and any concerns would be immediately addressed and resolved. CDC did exactly what they said they would do. The pool looks beautiful and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to remodel. read more

Knowing what I know now I will never hire nor recommend this company again. I hired CDC pools after receiving several quotes partly because of some recommendations people gave me even though they were the highest quote. It took them several weeks before I get my first receipt for the initial payment. I was told by Kevin (PM) that the job would take 2-3 weeks when it was actually 5. He never even called me to let me know they had completed the job. I had to contact him to get updates 85% of the time. Received many excuses on why the work wasn't getting down One excuses was ALL our finishing trucks have been broke. All of them. It comes down to poor, very poor communication. This is probably the worst communication I have every had from a PM. The office staff was nice and polite particularly Cassie. Again I have other properties with pools that need work, but I will be going some where else read more

I was a bit skeptical after reading several of the reviews for CDC, but their price was right so we went for it. We owner built our own pool, in order to save money, so we dealt with Justin who quoted us a price on pebble and waterline tile. It just couldn't be beat. We went to the showroom on a Saturday and loved how you could view all the different colors of pebble that they offer in their outdoor pool area. We picked our choices, were shown upgrades, but were not pressured into buying anything extra. Most of the complaints I've seen on this site were for poor time management. I must say that we were called and given a "reminder" of the work being done the next day. They always showed up on time, were professional and courteous, and above all did a great job. We even had an issue with a stain after the acid wash, and CDC promptly made a service call to fix the issue immediately and with no charge. Maybe after seeing some of these reviews, CDC took a look at what was working and what was not. Clearly in our case, there was never an issue of not showing up or not performing the work as promised. We will definitely recommend CDC to any of friends/family who are building their own pool. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED -Signed contract to redo interior pool. Had to call CDC Pools to remind their Superintendent to call me. Chip out was supposed to occur on Friday. No show so called CDC Pools. I was told chip out crew would be there "first thing" Saturday morning. Tile employee called to say he would be there on Monday to install tile. CDC Pools called on Friday advising of 2nd payment needed at time of chip out. Chip out crew no showed again on Saturday. Superintendent was called on Saturday and had no idea why chip out crew did not show up (POOR COMMUNICATION INTERNALLY) but confirmed they were supposed to be there Saturday morning according to employee who scheduled them. Tile employee re-contacted me on Sunday night to let me know he was showing up Monday morning to install tile. He was never told by anyone at CDC Pools, Superintendent included, that chip out crew never showed up so he could not install tile. I had to notify the tile employee Monday morning not show up. No apologies were ever given and demanded deposit be refunded. Poor business practices and poor communication, internally and externally. CDC Pools website says they "Deliver perfection on every project" and "Believes your pool remodeling project is important and will act like it". Both statements are "LIES" in my opinion. I was excited to have my pool redone but that excitement is gone and I will feel apprehensive on my next company I use. THANKS CDC POOLS!!!!!!! read more

I have never written a review before, but after having our pool remodeled by CDC pools last winter and having the best summer ever in 28 year with our pool, I felt I had to write them a review. I had 6 companies come out to give us estimates. CDC was in the middle price range. We got to see their work at a friend's house. His pool looked great and he said he had had a good experience with them. They started at the end of November and finished in mid January and if I had a complaint of any kind, it would be that it took longer than they said. However, I am not complaining because after they started, it rained a lot and I was glad they waited and did it properly. Our salesman was Jim and our superintendent was Sergio. Both did and excellent job. They always let me know when the next step was happening. The workers were all respectful of us, our questions and our property. They cleaned up every time they were here. Sergio inspected after each step and took care of any possible problems immediately, however, there were very few. We got new tile and the mini pebble which is beautiful. We would have liked to have had plaster, but know one guarantees it for very long. They also did a beautiful job of fixing a crack in our pool. We got a new Pentair filtration system which works great. We spent very little of our summer maintaining it. The pool was the cleanest, most beautiful and trouble free it had been in 28 years this past summer thanks to CDC Pools read more
