Owners never called, despite multiple requests, finally went to another company and within days they had it fixed. Costing me $1389 which should have been covered by SW Spas and Pool. We recently purchased a new Dimension One spa from Southwest Spas in Gilbert. We were so impressed with our purchasing and the follow up experience that I had to submit a review. We were immediately greeted as we walked in the showroom door. We spent hours in the store asking questions and looking at different models. Melinda, Andre, and Luke were all very helpful and patient with us. We ended up purchasing a floor model and got a great deal with lots of perks added in. The delivery company they use was very professional and friendly. There were some issues trying to figure out how to remove our old spa but Emir and his guys worked through it and made the extra effort to make it happen without another service call and extra charge. Initially we had a couple minor spa issues but worked with Dean at the warehouse and he had a service man out the next day and the issues were all resolved. We've received three follow up calls making sure we're completely satisfied, one after set up, one after the service call, and the third two weeks after installation. That means a lot to us. We're amazed at how well made the spa is and it comes with a great 5 year warranty. We also like the fact that Southwest Spas is a local company that's been in business for a long time. Would give these people ZERO stars if able. Waited a week to get an appointment to get service work on my spa. Service was supposed to be anytime from 7am to noon. I hadn't heard anything from them at 10:30, so I called only to get an answering machine. At noon I get a call to tell me they cannot come, and they could reschedule me sometime next week, as they have to give service priority to clients that buy there products. read more

We had our spa serviced in July 2024 and keep getting the run around by Jessie and the owner Melinda about our spa being fixed. I keep calling them and they never return calls. One time Jerrod answered on September 27 probably by mistake and told me he will relay the information to the owner Melinda. I'm sure the owner is telling Jessie and Jerrod not to return my calls. The business is a scam. I wouldn't recommend them. They should be shut down by the customer service they don't provide. read more

We initially dealt with the owner which was a great experience. Dealing with Tom (manager ?) Has been a terrible experience. He is disrespectful, unsure of what he can do, changes the contract terms, verbally talked down and insulted my wife. We initially paid our deposit on credit card. When the tub came in they called and we wanted to pay the balance on credit card. He refused to take our payment saying he would have to charge us an additional 3% for using the card. I feel we would have been better purchasing the tub at an automotive dealer - at least we've played that game before. We also dealt with other employees and were given different excuses or information. This business needs to get on the same page with their sales information and not treat customers rudely after the sale. read more

Not only did we get sold on the "biggest and best" recommended spa (D1 - Amore Bay) by the owner, Melinda, over paying. We've owned it for just at 6 years and from the very beginning we'be had problems! First the lights went out, wI thing the first month, then the pumps started going a couple months after that. Over the past couple of years there have been leak after leak!! The spa has been broken down more often than it's been in an operational state!! It is still sitting empty and BROKEN, yet the service center came out and found more leaks, but don't know how to fix it, per Dean it's waiting on parts. the plumbing is cracked, what parts? We now have a very heave, large, paperweight in our backyard, that we paid a lot of money for. read more

Never have I had such great customer service!! We walked in, began looking at his tubs, a nice young gentlemen named Tyler walked over to my wife and I and asked if we needed any help or information. We said yes and we began. I am a question asker,I also am very blunt. My wife would get information that was needed. I asked the price on all, explained my clumbsy body, he listened to all we had to say. Never rushed, never annoyed, never running to another customer. He never pressured us and he never had a sales pitch. He simply gave plenty of information. We asked for flyers, pamphlets for hot tubs we liked, said our thank yous, and left. We thought about it, hummed it over, made a decision,we didn't have the pamphlets with us,I figured a couple calls I'll find the place. I found Tyler!! we got the location and went back.We walked in, told Tyler we made our decision. He remembered us, me, my needs for steps, something to hang on to etc. He remembered everything and was still so kind and helpful. That's how he got our business! No pressure, never tried to talk us into anything. Listened, answered, helped and told us everything and made a sell. We then sat with Jasmine who helped us get the paperwork done. She was very kind, thorough and answered the remaining questions! The owner of the place was also there and she was a sweetheart! We had the installers show up on time on the day we set. They were friendly, kind, thorough as well. We loved the entire experience and feel thrilled we made the decision. I'm taking about the Gilbert location. We will refer them over and over. We found Southwest Spas and Pool by accident; We happened to be driving by. Lucky for me, we decided to stop and look at what they had. They had a great selection at all price points and made sense about why it was better to buy from a local dealer rather than a big box discount store when it came to follow up service. As it turns out, they were right. They gave me a great deal. When the spa was delivered, something I had purchased was accidentally left off. We called the store and they promised to make good on it which they did. If you are looking for a spa dealer that keeps their promises, this is it. I would like to add to my previous review. Dean, the maintenance guru, has a lot of great knowledge on servicing spas. He can answer any questions that you have. Our spa came with a different configuration to get the temperature to 104. He took the time out of his day to call the manufacture to find the correct settings. We ended up purchasing the Dimension One Amore Bay. The process was easy and they accommodated us with delivery and set up. Very down to earth people. We had went to Desert Springs Hot Tubs in Chandler in the past to look and almost bought there; however they were really rude to my wife, sarcastic, and incredibly pushy. After shopping about 10 different spa places, I found this one and am so glad I did. Lisa, the salesperson was friendly and very helpful. She listened to our needs and recommended the ideal hottub for us. It was primarily for my husband, who has back issues. He really didn't want to spend much money for a spa, so between Lisa finding us an affordable one for our budget and me twisting his arm, we made the move. A few months ago I decided it was time to purchase a SPA for my home as i have been dealing with sore backs and lack of sleep. The first place i stopped was Southwest Spas and Pools. They had a great selection and a knowledgeable and courteous staff. But I always shop around. I went to approx 20 different SPA retailers throughout the valley. Some had good selections, most didn't, especially in stock. Some had knowledgeable staff, most didn't, most were kids (or young adults) that were just learning and so I received a lot of misinformation regarding their SPA's. The more I researched the more I realized that Southwest Spas and Pools was the right company for me. So I went back and I purchased a Dimension Dream SPA. It was delivered and installed two days after I paid for it. The installers were on time and did a great job not only installing the spa, but educating me on using and maintaining it. We were so unhappy with our spa, we wanted to upgrade but that wasn't an option! Tyler is a real piece of work, after he took our money he told my husband to no longer contact him. The electrician they use also is a theif and works the system. I have told everyone in my neighborhood who has new homes to not even think of this company but to go with True Blue or for that matter any other company. Wow! Never felt better about a purchase. Best thing I've done in years for my health, both physical and mental. Bought a 8x13' swim spa from Southwest Pools and Spas. As an "Older" high school and college baseball umpire, it really keeps me loose and in shape. The "social" benefit is also great. Sit on the edge read or listen to the four speaker stereo, or just visit with the "significant other" before doing "lapes" against a variety of currents and exercises. It fast becomes an almost daily habit. Heating it to a desired temp in the winter (about 90 for me) is not problem. Doesn't use a lot of electricity, but the benefits outweigh the minimal cost of operation. Great, no make that outstanding, service from Melinda at Southwest Pools and Spas.
