They have a great selection of all kinds of trees as well as fruit trees. I wanted one lemon tree, one orange tree, one peach tree and one plum tree. Jason explained all the different varieties of each. I chose a Meyer lemon tree, one Cara Cara orange tree, one Desert Gold peach tree and one Santa Rosa plum tree. I also spoke with Barb about the care of all the trees, she took the time to give me detailed care explanations on each tree. That really help and she really knows a lot about plants and trees. The crew that delivered and planted the trees were very prompt, skilled and polite. I am very pleased with my whole experience with Whitfill nursery. From the price of the trees to the level of customer service I received. The staff immediately greets you with a warm welcome, and the entrance is so beautiful. Fillmore Coffee Co. is sighted as soon as you enter and there's some cute seating options. It's open until 3 pm and they have breakfast, lunch, and drinks. There are so many gorgeous plants to choose from. Staff is so helpful and eager to educate you on what would be best for your home. I ended up bringing more than one plant home and I can proudly say they've been blooming ever since. I appreciate the advice they gave me on taking care of my babies and I want to go back for more. Their plants are pricier than you'd find elsewhere but it was a great birthday experience for me.

My first trip i ever made to the plant stand was on a Mother's Day weekend when we got a free outdoor plant. But with inflation now this weekend when i had went not even a discount or free plant. Anything marked as a 2 for 20 etc or 12.99 is not accurate and they don't care about price matching what is in their store. Absolutely do not care. They make so much money why would they honor what "sales" they supposedly have. The customer is never right god forbid. I could have gotten such a better deal on plants towards the back on stakes but i thought they would have honored their own deals for 6" hanging plants(signed all the way down the aisle) but nope not the case. I refuse to step foot from now on I'll pay the upcharge for better service at whitfill or summer winds.

I told myself I wasn't going to get anything unless something truly called out to me... and, well, it happened. A Nanouk caught my eye (and heart), and now it's settling in at home with me. Their outdoor plant selection is broad and vibrant, though I'm not the best at keeping outdoor plants happy, so I admired from afar. Inside, the houseplant section had a good mix of some plants you see often, but also a few rare and interesting ones I don't usually come across, including some unique philodendrons and a couple pothos. The indoor area is on the smaller side, so when it gets a little crowded, it can feel a bit tight... that's probably my only minor critique. That said, the overall vibe was welcoming. I appreciated being greeted when I came in and then left alone to browse when I mentioned I didn't need help. That balance matters. The prices were fair as far as my knowledge in cruising through plant aisles and sections. Nothing unreasonable from my perspective. I'm glad I stopped in, and I'd definitely come back once I and my new Nanouk get to know each other a bit more. All in all, a peaceful and worthwhile plant stop.

I got a stick about 30 inches tall, prepared the planting hole as I was told. 30 days we had tree. I cut branched (small) and then cut them to about three inches. She put them in the pressure cooker and we ended up with some great tea. Read up on the tree and others you might have questions about. You will get the straightest answer you could ask for. No forcing products off on you, but they will tell you the correct product to help this tree survive. What to avoid that people will try to sell you. They are verry honest people.

This week I snagged some guara, hummingbird bush, and a gorgeous pink trumpet vine that's actually not toxic to pets (as most trumpet vines are). The staff all seem very knowledgeable and are really helpful. There are two older gentlemen that walk around and are always especially kind and helpful. There are some chickens clucking about and if you go in the indoor plant area you can meet parrots Jack and Diane who are happy to have a chat with you. There's also a huge selection of pottery.
