This is a great addition in Arcadia. From drinks to cake slices to savory bites, there's a lot to choose here. I love all things mango, so I got the mango drink and mango cake. The service was pretty fast and indoors, there's plenty of seating. It's also clean indoors. I prefer the mango drink over the mango cake. The mango cheezo drink hit the right stuff. I will definitely have to order this again
I recently had their mango custom cake in Labubu design and I loved it! The cake was moist and flavorful. The mango tasted fresh. Overall, it was a spongy delicious Asian cake with just the right amount of sweetness and freshness! Service is always good. The interior ambiance is cute and cozy. They also have really soft fresh bread that they use in their sandwiches. I had the spam and egg sandwich last time and the toast tasted like pillows.
located in a main plaza on a baldwin, this cake/boba spot is a great addition to the community. This was my first time ordering a custom cake and the owner, CC, made the entire process easy. I sent her two inspiration pictures i found on pintrest and her and her team ran with it and produced a beautiful cake. They went above and beyond with small ceramic mushrooms on the side of the cake. we originally agreed on pick up at noon but because of some delayed had to pick up at 1pm. She asked for our understanding and gifted us 2 drinks which were perfectly balanced and fresh(soft boba) order: custom birthday cake comments: no comments from my end. super helpful owner (CC) and staff were super attentive 10/10 would definitely recommend and come back for my next occasion
The perfect spot for unique, high-quality birthday cakes with one of a kind flavor combos that are perfect for celebrating loved ones! Each cake comes with a complimentary sparkler, which is nice for photos. Highly recommend placing your order at least a day in advance. The staff was very attentive, and the overall vibe of the boba/cake shop was super cute and girly. 1. Soybean Cream Bliss with Mochi: this was a rich, creamy cake with a subtle, sweet soybean flavor that reminded me a bit of the sweet tofu dessert. The crispy bits added a nice contrast in texture. The mochi layer that replaced a layer of cream in the cake gave it an extra chewy dimension that made it really special. 2. Salted Egg Yolk & Mochi with Pork Sung: a creative take on the classic savory pork sung pastry. Perfect sweet and savory cake. The balance of flavors worked surprisingly well- the pork sung brought the right amount of saltiness, while the salted egg yolk layer (which I was surprised to see replaced an entire layer of cream) was bold, rich, and savory. This one's a must try if you're looking for something more unique. All the cakes (and especially the cake bases) tasted super fresh and were not too sweet. Would definitely be back to try other cakes!
Its a very cute place. Plenty of seats to hangout while drinking and enjoying the dessert. Walking in, checking the menu's for drinks and desserts. Ordered on the kiosk. No hi no smile nothing. The lady was busy on the phone taking orders. The other lady maybe busy with the something else. Walking in and out. No other customers in the store. My drink came out so cute but oh so lack of flavor. I asked for regular ice, and the other one less ice. Both came with same amount of ice. I asked for regular sweet and the other less sweet, barely taste the sweetness. My son said," cute place but the drinks are made with no love." Despite all that, I'll come back again to try it. Maybe not a good day for the staff.
We decided to check out this cute cafe with kitschy pillows on sofas and chairs. We ordered Durian mille crepe, magnum crunch chocolate cake box, original basque cheesecake, durian coconut sago drink, and brûlée Oreo boba shake. The durian milk crepe and durian coconut sago drink were both delicious and not too sweet. Cashier was patient while we were deciding on our order. Parking can be an issue as it shares the lot with other businesses in the plaza.
My sister in law bought a cake and several drinks for us for my niece's birthday. I can't say much on the service or inside the bakery because I was not there. The presentation and packaging... CHEF'S KISS. So cute and pretty!!! I got a cheezo strawberry, it was very good. I would go back to order it again. But would ask for it to be slightly sweeter and have more cheese. We also got the fruit tea, although delicious it wasn't as sweet as I wanted it to be. The cake...I hate asian cakes. But this cake! The cream was so good paired with the fresh fruit and soft sponge. I told my husband we're going back here for so many other things!! I can't wait totry everything else, especially the cheezo grape.
Pre-ordered my custom cake design two days in advance! Included the reference photo and final product below! I am so happy and satisfied with how the cake turned out! It looked almost identical to the reference photo! CC has such an amazing attention to detail, as she kept my add-ons of icing roses and strawberries color-coordinated to match the rest of the color scheme. I also really appreciated that they accommodated my request and wrote part of the birthday message in Korean (which I had said we can omit if it isn't possible to include). The packaging and presentation was beautiful, coming in a clear box with a ribbon :) My grandma absolutely loved her cake! She kept saying how it was so pretty, took photos of it, and enjoyed a good portion! Usually, she can't have much cake and scrapes off the frosting as it's too sugary for her, but she was pleasantly surprised that the cake, fruits, and cream were not too sweet! The cake itself was soft and moist! So very thoughtful and kind of the bakery to provide us with a sparkler (you can choose between a heart or a star) and a cutlery set. We thought it would have just forks and napkins, but it came with the cutest mini serving plates and a decorative paper crown saying "Happy Birthday"! Service was wonderful! Text responses arrived in a timely manner, always within 3 hours. We actually arrived 30 minutes early, and the cake was already ready! CC also gave us pointers on how to use the sparkler and how to safely seat/store the cake for the drive! We also ordered 4 drinks on the side, which were ready within 10 minutes and all tasted high-quality! On a side note, disclaimer about using the listed website: I ordered through their website which took me to Chowbus, and this ended up causing a lot of confusion. The cafe almost double-charged me the $50 deposit fee as I had paid and tipped on Chowbus, but through text, the owner (or employee?) asked me to Zelle or Venmo and I'd be all set. Luckily, once I informed them I already paid and sent screenshots, everything was all sorted. Chowbus also allowed me to set my desired pick-up time which I chose 4:00PM, to which I received a text this morning around 11:00AM asking what time I wanted the cake by. Not sure if Chowbus didn't notify the cafe correctly, or if the cafe didn't verify my order number, or if I wasn't providing proper details (maybe I should have texted the order number and pick-up time directly, rather than rely on my screenshots), but it all worked out in the end. Also, when I went to pick-up the cake, they almost didn't charge me the rest of the fee! I kept asking didn't I owe them more money since I only paid the deposit, and she almost sent me home without paying the remainder; after a while of me saying I do owe her, she realized Chowbus only charged me for the $50 deposit. Again, these are not complaints to the cafe and only to the website/Chowbus. Just to avoid the added stress, I recommend placing your order through in-person consultation, text, or Instagram Highly recommend! Will definitely be returning for future birthdays & holidays & parties!
This place has such a pretty aesthetic + delicious drinks & cakes! I ordered their taro mochi creambox, cake wasnt overly sweet & I can really taste the taro from the paste. There is also mochi in the middle which adds a chewy texture too. Mango mille crepe was so light and delicious, mango & cream was perfectly sweet. In between it also had mango paste which had an interesting pumpkin puree element to it. I got their Puff Cream Osmathamus Oolong Milk Tea with Tea Jelly, 30% sweet, SOOO YUMMY, fragrant of the tea. I would definitely come back to order this drink here and try out other ones as well. Service was quick and I signed up for a free membership card, you get 5% cashback per order and you can add it to your digital wallet :3
Forgot to purchase a cake for my husband. Didn't have time to go to regular spot happened to remember this cake spot on the way home. Little did I know they don't have full cakes readily available. You need to order at least one day ahead of time. Sigh.. Luckily they were generous and was able to whip up something later in the day. We ordered the Berry Buddy and it's adorable. Even better it tasted amazing. I've never seen my in laws finish their cake serving they actually had to have seconds. If you know the Asian elders, they won't waste their calories on dessert. The frosting is perfect, the fruits are perfect the cake was moist and fluffy. Thank you CC Cake for helping me out and providing an amazing cake. everything comes with packaged with it as well. Plates, forks, serving utensils, candles. The store is amazing and clean also very friendly workers.
Where have I been all this time? Was craving cake so found this place and decided to give it a try. I ordered the pork floss cake and taro mochi box. Both cake are filled with ingredients! The pork floss covered the cream cake completely and the taro box was layer with mochi and taro cream! Both cake was light and not overly sweet! The person who helped me was attentive and very knowledgeable about their products. I think I found my fav dessert place!
The cake that I ordered was really pretty! CC Cake provides a huge selection of cakes to choose from and I think they can also customize any cake that you ask them to. However, the process to customize the cake is super difficult. I called in to order and the person that picked up told me to text a picture of the cake I would like to order and my information. However, after texting my info, nobody responded to me for 2 days. It was getting close to the day that I needed to pick up the cake so I called back, only to have them say that they missed my message. Luckily, they will still be able to accommodate my order. However, through the same text messaging process, they would take forever to respond. I was nervous the entire time, thinking I might not actually get my cake. Upon pick up, I went on time and they were still not done with the cake. I think I might have waited almost half an hour, but she did give me a free drink to make up for the time I waited. The store seemed really busy because they sell milk teas, cakes, and pastries. It was really cute inside though, so I didn't mind the wait too much. The cake was pretty, but it wasn't very good. It was almost all cream with very little of the cake or filling. I was left a bit disappointed. I might go back for another cake that doesn't need customization, but probably not for a custom cake. It was too stressful.
Cheezo mango smoothie (less sweet) - I do not like the crystal boba too much it tastes like coconut jellies I would give it a 7/10. Avocado love mango - mango is good in this it has nice chunks this one was the better drink I got. 7.5/10 Not pictured the mochi mango ball which I devoured it was so good. Not too sweet and nice and cold I bought the last one 9/10 Service is nice. No bathrooms. Very cutesy pink inside

On a Saturday afternoon, as a quick-ish gift for a kid's birthday party, and because giving the typical cake would've been kinda boring, my girlfriend recommended checking out the pork floss cakes here. The lady behind the counter greeted me cheerily, while two preteens were busy playing on their cell phones near the back. My first impressions? Feels like a rather cozy place to hangout! For a set of 6 of the original flavor, the price was about $12, and I was told that a 2-3 minute wait was needed before they'd be ready. I took that time to admire the decor, which included references to a particular 90s anime and the upcoming Spring Festival. When the cake finally showed up, I was surprised to see that they were smaller than I expected. Upon closer inspection, each piece resembled a cube covered in pork floss about 1 1/2" each side. Not bad, not too sweet like most cakes, some mentioned. Next time I'll see if I can try the other variations, since the original flavor felt too familiar with all the pork sung/fu rice and buns I've had over the years. read more

I went to eat at the sushi restaurant in the same plaza. Came here after wanting boba but ended up with watermelon jasmine drink. It was sooooo good and so fresh with real watermelon in it. Never had something like this but was pleasantly surprised. The interior decor is soooo cute too. Felt extremely welcoming when we walked in, she greeted us and gave us a menu to look at. This will be my new go to bakery for cakes! I ordered their ballet cake just 1 day in advance and it came out amazing! I chose original chiffon with mangos. The flavor is perfectly balanced and not too sweet. I'm not a cream person but it was amazing and not heavy. Everybody was impressed on how cute it was and how good it tasted. This was their 6in round cake and could feed up to 8 people. They included plates, utensils and a heart shape sparkler candle which was a nice touch. I'll definitely be ordering more for all my future events. Thank you! read more

I have been buying milk tea at this store. The service is particularly good. This year, I tried ordering birthday cakes twice. The pictures were exactly the same as the actual products. The taste was especially good. The most important thing is that for the same products, other private customizations would be much more expensive. I've never been so amazed from any Cake store in Arcadia. I have placed an order for a birthday cake for my mother. My family is very particular about cake, especially since traditional American cakes have a lot of sugar. CC Cake has been successful in producing an amazing lightly sweet cake! CC Cake has many cake options from chocolate to pork floss with many different variations on presentation (rolled, boxed, and even pancake). The options are very abundance in options and flavors. They also have drinks. I do recommend the Oreo Brûlée drink. If you are like me and have a hard time choosing, the staff at CC Cake are very knowledgeable on the taste and feel of each cake. It is amazing to go into a cake shop where staff have tasted and can give an accurate description of each cake. A big shout out to the people who help me settle for the Strawberry Fresh Cream Cake, Yuto and Fei. Additionally, the workers are also very accommodating to different languages like Mandarin and Japanese which helped me communicate what I wanted. Back to the cake, the Strawberry Fresh Cream Cake was exquisite! It is a very light cream which actually REAL strawberries in the cake. The spongy texture of the cake was very desirable to everyone who attended my mother party. Additionally, CC Cake should take pride on the presentation of the cake. The cake was given to me with a beautiful clear casing tied with a ribbon. NOW THAT IS PRESENTATION! Additionally, they have also provided cute pink utensils and sparklers for the cake. The quality of the cake, the spectacular presentation, and amazing customer service makes this place the top place to get your next cake or sweet treat. Their lot is located in a small strip mall off Baldwin that is shared with a few other popular businesses. When they are all busy, parking can be challenging. The store is relatively small, but similar to a Starbucks in size. There are tables with plugs along the wall opposite the order counter and one man was sitting with his computer while we were there. However, it was pretty hot inside on our visit in late June and seems like the airconditioner is not on very low. Consequently, going to there to study for a while or even enjoy your food/drink during the hot months might not be a good idea. Like McDonalds, they have an order kiosk, but there was no one ordering while we were there so we just ordered from the register. We got a small of the oreo boba and shared it. It was pretty expensive, but tasted good. Because of the price we will likely not go back very often. It seems like their prices are a little higher than other boba places. However, their niche seems to be different flavors/types of boba drinks than other stores offer. Their bobas were cooked just right for our taste, not too hard and not overly chewy. In addition to their drinks, they have a large variety of cakes. We did not try those. During our visit, there were two ladies working there, one took our order and the other made the drink. We did not have to wait long. Overall, we would recommend going here if you are in the mood for unique dessert cakes or boba drinks. Just be prepared to pay a little bit more. read more
I was very impressed with my visit here today! As soon as you walk in, you can smell the delicious aroma of their cakes!!! I happened to stumble upon this place after I got my chun chun corn dog next door. The teas are made with fresh fruit. I got the super fruit tea (it's mixed with watermelon, orange, strawberry flavors). It was SO good. My sister got the orange fruit tea and she also really liked it. I also decided to try a cake. I got the small mango cake box and it was incredible. Maybe one of my top cakes I've ever had. The mango was so fresh, ripe and sweet. The one I ordered was made fresh to order so I did have to wait about 15 min for it. I highly recommend trying this place out! read more
I came here yesterday with my friend as it was our first time. The menu had a lot of options and I wasn't sure what to get. I like how you can order your drink on the kiosk and pay for it. Our drinks came out very quick. I ordered the passion fruit tea drink and added lychee inside. It was so delicious and refreshing. My friend got a watermelon drink and she enjoyed it as well. I actually really enjoyed my drink (I got the cheezo mango) but was so disappointed to find plastic as I was drinking. Weird part is, my sister ordered a completely different drink (uji matcha milk) and she had plastic in hers too! I was driving home from the place and so my sister was drinking her boba in the dark. She actually freaked out because she thought a worker dropped their nail in there... Overall good drink but not sure if I would come back since there were two separate drinks, both which had plastic in it - mine was plastic but I'm not sure what we identified my sisters was. read more

They have a sign that lets customers know that their drinks are less sweet than other establishments, so if you're looking for something sugary, this might not be the place for you. Alternatively, I think you can ask for extra sugar. Ordered the cheezo mango smoothie (less sweet) and wasn't sure what to expect. It was a good amount of sweetness for my palate (I don't like super sweet stuff). In terms of flavor, it tasted like a mango cheesecake drink. It came with agar boba, which has a firmer texture compared to the standard boba. The mango part was more icy than smooth. Overall, I thought it was great. The staff was friendly, and the drink came out fast. The place was also pretty cute. read more

i absolutely loved visiting cc cake!! i came and got the puppy roll cake. i mainly bought it because of how adorable it was, but it was also soooo delicious! it was perfectly sweet but not too sweet, and the cream was very fresh. the cake was also really light, so it satisfied my sweet tooth without weighing down my stomach like many other denser/richer cakes. it was just the perfect cake. the cafe is also very clean and gorgeously decorated. everything is so cute! and the service was wonderful. the lovely woman behind the counter helped me choose what i wanted and had some recommendations that i'd like to try next time! read more

THIS PLACE IS MORE THAN AMAZING! seriously!! i ordered a cake online, everything went extremely smoothly. My bestie & I were celebrating our 10th friendiversary and we just had the best time there. The male & female workers were extremely kind and considerate, & and friendly. The female worker, as they were about to close offered to help us even retie the ribbon of the cake!! it was amazing & fantastic the service, and just felt so welcome. AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE CUTENESS OF THE INSIDE. It's super pink and cute right when you walk in you just feel like you walked into someone's pink paradise lol. The cakes are simply wonderful, soft, fluffy and cute and I couldn't recommend it more if you're looking for a place to hang out and celebrate with your friend. I hope this place stays forever!! I went there today to buy some cupcakes to take to my friend's house. My first and last time! After buying only 4 cupcakes for $35 (you expect freshness for this price!) I go in the car all 4 cupcakes tilted and smeared! I couldn't even make them straight because of the tapes that shut the lid! My friend which lives only 7 minutes away from the store, opens the box and I see vanilla cake instead of chocolate! So the kids didn't eat any of them! I take a bite and it tastes horrible! It was so old and dry that I think an amateur can do a better job! Please don't waste your money! I felt embarrassed in front of my friend! read more

The taro cream cake box here is very good! I asked for it without mochi and they made me a fresh box with some extra taro paste. I wish the paste was blended to a smoother consistency because I found it to be a tad too "grainy". Others who like more texture may find it to be really good. Definitely recommend this spot for those looking for Asian desserts! read more

CC Cake came highly recommended by a friend, so we brought some home to enjoy. We opted for the Original Pork Floss cake (6pc for $11.95). Each little cake was about 3 inches in diameter and was made with two layers of super fluffy sponge cake covered in a mixture of pork floss and sesame seeds. They also offer versions with taro paste, salted egg yolk, or mochi sandwiched in between. The original variant was definitely reminiscent of the crescent-shaped pork floss cake available at many Chinese bakeries, but was a smaller version. I could easily have devoured half that box in one go, but instead restrained myself. I'd be interested in trying out their other cake flavors and/or drinks next time! read more

My friend suggested coming here for a late night drink and dessert and needless to say, I was not disappointed at all! Walking in, we were greeted with friendly cashiers and a beautiful pink room filled with pink cushions and plushies like Sailor Moon and flowers. As someone whose favorite color is pink, I was definitely drawn to the ambiance of this place as it was so cute! Great for photo opportunities! Definitely worth coming here for the vibe. Also, even though they say they close at 8:30 pm, they didn't kick the customers out which was nice so we were able to chat longer. In terms of the drinks, there were so many options as well! I appreciated how the menu recommended different drinks based on what you're feeling-- decided to go with the Cheezo Mango smoothie since that's one of the top drinks. It was so good! The mango was sweet and loved the agar boba and coconut milk together. Definitely would get it again. My friends and I also wanted to try their cakes so we ordered the mango crepe cake. Honestly it wasn't that good- the mango didn't look fresh and the layers felt very hard and not a soft texture. I wouldn't order this again but I am curious about the pork floss cake so might try that again when I visit! read more

I ordered from CC Cake through Uber a while ago, 4 star. I can't comment on their cakes, because I ordered none, but I have to say this place's drinks are pretty good. I liked how they packed the drinks nicely, and no caps came off during delivery. Their drinks stand out in terms of unique flavors, for example, they have the grapefruit magnolia and coconut mango. But they don't have the best selection and price is a little more, the small/normal size being $7.00+ and big size (which is only tall) being $8.00+ on Uber, which is why I rated 4/5 stars. read more
#78 in my Teaholic Diaries. Let me start by saying I really wanted to like this new boba shop. I'm a strong believer of supporting local business, especially women-owned business. Sadly, I just wasn't a fan of my drinks here. I had ordered the Golden Phoenix oolong milk tea and a Camellia milk tea, and both drinks tasted watered down - I think it was a problem more with the milk than the actual brewed tea, or maybe just the ratio. Plus I could hardly detect any notable flavor to the oolong milk tea. The Camellia was slightly better in that I could actually taste the light floral notes, but overall I wasn't a fan of either drink. ******************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Decided to try a new boba place. I ordered the ceylon milk tea with boba and hubby got the puffy cream osmanthus oolong milk tea. We choose form their popular drink on their menu. The Ceylon milk tea with boba was 1.5/5 rating for me. The tea was so strong and overpowering. It is not my favorite Ceylon milk tea I have tried. Plus their boba was not good at all. It was very hard and not cooked all the way or it was old. The puffy cream osmanthus oolong milk tea was actually really good. They have tea jelly topping inside. The tea was light and not too sweet. I rate this drink 4.5/5 for this drink. Drinks are hit and miss here. And wouldn't satisfy my boba craving if it isn't cooked correctly. read more
This is what eating is all about. Those nights when u randomly see a shop and decide to give a place a try, and it instantly becomes 1 of your favorites. After eating noodles across the street. I decided to go here for dessert and I'm so very glad I did. I came across The Magnum Roll, and it was love at first sight! The way the chocolate and nuts sparkled at the top just right. Plus, with it being the last slice. You can't convince me that it wasn't fated for us to meet on this night. I've literally driven past this place hundreds of times! After lunch, my sister and I checked out the desserts on a warm Saturday warm afternoon in August. There was slices of cakes in the glass case. We got a slice of chocolate roll and slice cheesecake with large passion fruit kumquat drink. The tables seating was very cute with fur pillows. The chocolate roll was not sweet so I felt wasn't eating anything heavy. The cheesecake was good too. The large passion fruit kumquat was refreshing with less sugar. They also make custom cakes too. read more
