Almost immediately after I told him who I wanted to buy wine for, he told me they'd just walked into the shop. He went into a different room so they wouldn't overhear our conversation. Connor asked me about the price range I was interested in, we discussed a few options, and we landed on a red and a white that he was confident my friends would enjoy. When I asked if they like to munch on anything while they're drinking their wine, he said, Yes! The truffle popcorn. So, I added that to the order. The next day, I picked up the bag with the bottles of wine and the popcorn, and delivered it to her where she works. The best part of the surprise was that my friends loved the wines and, of course, the truffle popcorn! My next visit to this shop will be to sit, relax and enjoy a glass of wine--hopefully, recommended by Connor!
