I drink hibiscus tea a lot in the mornings and got used to a more tart flavor, but it was hot out today so I went for the iced, unsweetened version and was surprised at how good it was! Asked the kind staff why the flavor was so different and they told me that it was because they cold brew it. Cold brewing my hibiscus for the rest of the summer, thanks for sharing the tip! My daughter & I came in this morning for our first time and we definitely left very very impressed. Let me start by saying that the coffee was GREAT, service was excellent too. fast, delicious lattes brought straight to your table!!! The ambience was one of my favorite things. The Christmas decor was stunning and way better in person!! I love that it was super mellow when we came in around 9ish. I purchased a hot vanilla latte and I felt it hit instantly. My eyes felt more awake and I was instantly in love ahahaha!! My daughter got an iced salted Carmel latte and she loved it as well! This is definitely somewhere will be back very soon! I decided to go back to one of my new favorites. It was once called the Chocolate Bar but now it is called the Cbar. Still quaint and relaxing with front outdoor seating. You can order at the front and then go sit down in open seating or you can have table service. I decided to go and have table service. My waitress Bria was super sweet, kind, very approachable, she was an absolute delight to have met. They have a full service bar from various coffees, teas, and lemonade of your liking to wines, beers, and very few cocktails. There is a full menu of delicious food. I went back to what I had previously and that was the Veggies on Focaccia bread, and it came with a side of delicious fries. I am not a Vegetarian nor Vegan at all but this sandwich was exquisite. My drink of choice was their in house Cbar Blonde and that was absolutely refreshing. They have various local bands performing on Fridays and Saturdays and activities each month so check their website for upcoming events. If you do decide a fancy glass of wine and you also fell in love with it, don't be shy and grabbing yourself a bottle on the wine shelves. I have become a Cbar regular! This place has such a great vibe. They always have amazing music and fun entertainment. Trivia night is becoming a weekly favorite. Oh and the FOOD! We received no apologies when everyone's food came out one at a time and we were left waiting 55 mins from the moment we ordered for the last meal to arrive, we all waited to eat until we all had our food...The live musician was incredible, we absolutely loved her but our large party with a reservation was sat right in front of her, so we couldn't hear a thing amongst ourselves. We were also celebrating a bride-to-be and her wine glass came to her very dirty. We returned it to manager, who willingly replaced...but we saw him sipping on his own wine on the floor throughout the evening, with little to no care for how we were doing (?!). I am disappointed because I'm a local and wanted to support the local businesses here in the village but I will not be coming back due to the quality less than the price . First of all, don't let the name deceive you...yes they have delicious chocolate treats but they have a full savory menu too. Everything we got was so full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Service was great! I know some people have had an issue with this place because of the switch from fully GF to introducing some gluten items but let me put your mind at ease: if you have celiac (like me and like the owner!) you are safe to eat here! There are no cross contamination issues and they are super knowledgeable. If you're not gluten free there are plenty of options if you're one of those people who dislikes GF bread etc. It's a win win! Can't wait to go back soon! read more

Donuts and panini were very good. However, as other reviewers have mentioned the croissant is not good. It is like a mushy roll or something. Saw this place on instagram and had to try it. I'm a big chocolate fan and love supporting local. I was disappointed and very confused as the menu in person didn't match online. I was excited to try the snickers popcorn and chocolate pairings which both were not options in person. The chocolate display was tiny. We ended up getting a few truffles and a bag of chocolate pecans up front to go. I think this place has room for improvement. They just opened recently & I was unimpressed by a few things. They're priced at the high end of local spots but the coffee and sandwich I got were very unimpressive unfortunately, I won't name competitors but locally there's at least three spots that feel as though they have a more special coffee and sandwich product on offer. Service was friendly but felt like they needed more training and practice. And the vibes were just kind of off (no suggestions on how to fix that, it may just come with time). That being said, I'd give this spot a second chance when it's up and running smoothly, supporting new local spots is near and dear to me so I wish them success and hope they get the swing of things in the end. read more

I waited to try the Chocolate Bar so the kinks could get worked out and was anticipating so much. Just as another reviewer said. "Where's the chocolate?" We tried two of the truffles, but that was about the extent of the chocolate. We also each had a savory item. I had the avocado toast, and my friend had a croissant sandwich. In both cases, they were not tasty. Mine wasthe equivalent of two slices of a baguettes and lots of sprouts. Very skimpy with the avocado and the bread was not crunchy. When you think of toast, you think of crunch. Same for the croissant sandwich. It was very doughy. When you think of croissant, you think of something very light. I don't think anyone tasted either item. Also, it was very slow when we went and there were a couple of people at the front and it would've been nice to have them come over to see if we had any questions or tell us about some of the popular items. I dropped $55 on two sandwiches, two coffees and two truffles. That would've been fine if they were absolutely delicious. read more

It's unclear if it's self-serve or a traditional restaurant. We had to ask for water, silverware and napkins. I ordered a croissant sandwich and it was harder than a stale biscuit.
