I have to say this. NO ONE, I MEAN "NO ONE!" has ever been on time for an appointment! Please tell me if I am wrong! CB Concrete Constructtion was a bit EARLY, basically-they were "SPOT ON!" The finish that occured after a Rain Storm seamed to be a problem. But, in reality, it was not! The people working were VERY FOCUSED! The end product was what a customer should not HOPE for, but expect! A BIT-of-OVER-EXPECTATION! Thank you CB! Great job! GREG

    Repaired sidewalk and removed tree/stump.

CB Concrete did a great job for us. After receiving a notice that we had to have our sidewalk repaired due to root damage, CB concrete came by and gave us a quote immediately. They suggested some related improvements, and also were able to handle a couple additional things I wanted them to do. All of this and they fit us into the schedule quickly and completed the work very efficiently. Their price was lower than what the city would've charged us to do the work. I highly recommend CB Concrete. Excellent quality work and fast at a good price.

The scratch that they denied, with concrete all splattered over my car.

They scratched my car, denied it and didnt even call me back to apologize. They did work for the studios we live at. I called 2-3 times, a girl said how can we even do that, how couldn't they... when they brought multiple machines for 3 days worth of work for a slab of concrete. The man said the owner would get back to me and that it was on the top of his to-do list. Its been 2 solid months.

CB Concrete replaced about 8 feet of sidewalk that had been lifted by the roots of an adjacent tree on my lawn. I purchased a 24" deep sidewalk root barrier and asked that it be installed when the concrete was poured. CB said sure but it would be an extra $105 to do it and I agreed. All was well until I decided to double up the the barrier and had to dig out the dirt behind the new barrier. Found that CB had cut out half the depth of the barrier before installing it - from 24" to about 13"!! I'm pissed. The price of 24" barrier was more than double a 12" barrier so it cost me even more. - Moral of the story is to be on-site and watch the crews do the work that you contracted for. i won't be using CB Concrete in the future.

This involved pouring over 1,500 sq. ft. of concrete, a large retaining wall, a patio deck, a new lawn, and a playground area. Here were some of the highlights of my experience: - Design Guidance: I relied heavily on Baltazar's experience and keen sense of design. His elegant hardscaping solution for the pool transition zones exceeded my expectations and tied the yard together perfectly. - The grading and drainage were very well done. Despite heavy rains, there was zero pooling; the rain gutters were routed directly into pipes beneath the concrete for a clean, streamlined look. - Smart Home Integration: All landscape lighting and irrigation were hooked up to smart-home enabled controllers for total automation and convenience. - The office staff was very responsive, addressing any concerns or follow-up questions usually within a single business day. Props to Gladys and Dahlia! Highly recommended!

It was over 3500 sq ft of lawn and irrigation, as well as concrete fixes around other parts of our property and pool tile repair. I chose them because they had the best strategy to combat the problem, even though they weren't the cheapest quote we received. I wanted the fix to last long term, not just hold me over for a year or two before another gopher invasion destroys our yard. Everything was extremely professional and delivered to contract specifications. We were extremely happy with the results. They had to move a portion of our fence to get the big equipment in but you wouldn't even know it had been moved because they were total pros putting things back. When we asked for additional scope of work (a French drain), they were quick to get back to me with a quote and incorporating the additional work didn't push out the timeline. All in all, highly recommend and we'll definitely use them again for our landscaping needs.

We hired Leticia to pour a large stamped patio. When completed the Far East half of the stamping was barely there due to the concrete setting up. When she saw the job she knew it was done poorly but refused to correct it. She did offer to saw cut the area which would not look correct or tie in with the other section. When I requested that she complete the job per our contract she refused and later I received a notice of a lien from star concrete because she never paid her contractor. Because of this I had to pay them 2368Since I have filed a claim with the state contracts board. Currently under investigation. Now we have to get the concrete removed and repoured to look right. A simple job that just wasn't managed well and held no accountability. Very disappointed considering the history of this company and the reviews I saw before hiring her. Be very careful.

He was thorough, detailed, creative, conscientious and he truly listened - to my goals, likes/dislikes, and concerns. He provided me with recommendations across all 3 work areas that took into account the needs and special considerations for each location. He worked to ensure that we had a good strategy for redirecting water from the downspout to the patio and for redirecting water via a small 'channel' parallel to the driveway to allow for better water management. Being a highly visual person, I also found their showroom very helpful in choosing colors and patterns for the stamped concrete finish. In preparation and execution, Paul and the team took great care planning out each phase, protecting my new glass garage door and fixing a small nick on the house during the cement pour. He also personally adjusted the patio downspout, intentionally going out of his way with a plan to avoid creating unnecessary holes in the new siding. He also helped me anticipate and plan for mail and other deliveries during the time the walkway would be off-limits. He also worked well with my neighbor to plan for and to gain access to the garage each day in my absence. He regularly sent pictures and text updates. All of this because he is thorough, creative, conscientious, detailed and seems to sincerely care about his clients. The result: Exactly what I had hoped, delivered on time, with quality, care and with consideration for my schedule and the well-being of my home. Paul delivered to his word. I would hire Paul and the Alexander & Sons team again for any hardscaping in the future.

I was looking for someone to replace our makeshift…read moreend-of-line cleanout with a proper one, and Jose came out on a Saturday to give me an estimate - super fair pricing and great work done quickly on the next Friday. We ended up telling him about our crumbling cast iron main sewer line under our slab foundation, and a belly in the garage that's been causing us problems every year, and Jose offered us the CIPP + robot cutter trenchless solution so that we don't have to dig up every connection in our house, and it was at a fair price. Since they did a great job with the cleanout replacement, we decided to do the whole sewer line CIPP and dig up the belly too. Jose and crew arrived promptly at the scheduled time to start the work. They dug up a trench in the garage and replaced the section of the pipe with the belly on day 1. After the belly was replaced with new pipe, there was still not enough slope for the new section to properly drain, because the two end of the existing pipes were just at the wrong height and simply replacing the belly was not enough. Jose communicated this to us and proposed another solution where they would pipe burst under the current pipe for the section that's too high to my front yard clean out so that the whole section would have proper slope, at no extra charge. Meanwhile the crew in the back were working on the CIPP in parallel. They measured out where the openings were and carefully marked the linings with the measurements. Inserted the linings, cured it, cut it, then used robot cutters to reopen the connections. After everything was done, they patched everything back, and cleaned up the whole place. When they patched the concrete in the garage back, they made sure put in rebar to support that small cut out section of the concrete. We saw the final result together in the camera inspection and the pipe looks great - no more bellies and one nice sewer line with proper slope and smooth lining. I'm so glad I found this company and Jose who I know I can trust to do high quality work and do the right thing when there are unexpected hiccups that arise. Throughout the process, Jose took time to explain to us what will be done and how it will be done so we were never left in the dark. I really appreciated the clear communication.
