Just stopped in while driving by and tried the Vietnamese summer rolls with mango sauce and the sushi pizza. Both were excellent. I was actually craving some nime chow so the summer rolls were a very tasty alternative. The mango sauce paired perfect. And the sushi pizza.. on a scallion pancake with seaweed salad hit the spot. And I don't even like seaweed salad by itself. Portions were great too. Staff was also very friendly. Gonna have to come back for the all you can eat sushi. Just know they automatically add an 18% gratuity onto the check.

Amazing all you can eat sushi! The restaurant is small but allows the experience to feel more personal. The server was pleasant and insightful. You can pick up to 4 rolls at a time, appetizers, and single sashimi's. 4 rolls and some appetizers should be plenty speaking form experience. The price is fair for the quality and amount of the food. The spicy yellow fish roll, TNT roll, ell roll, and crab Rangoons were my favorite.

Awesome unlimited sushi! Great selections and fast and friendly service. Sitting area is mostly booths but I loved everything I ordered. Tempura shrimp and the fried dumplings were delicious. Make sure you finish all your sushi so you don't face a charge at the end. I will love to go back.

Their sushi is rolled in the absolute maximum amount of rice. After complaining they switched it out. When the bill came I had a $30 extra charge. So I mention it to the wait staff she said I'll go get the manager. Manager comes and tells me to pay what's on the bill or he calls the police.... Salmon tasted old and warm Fluke was chewy and had a funky smell. Last time I eat here.

Our son invited us since he is a sushi lover; I was very impressed with how good the sushi/rolls were, really good place. Service was very friendly and the place looks well maintained. Definitely going back!!!

The sushi is really rich in flavor not only that but it was a vast variety of different types to try. The waiter was really sweet and came out with the food pretty quick. The ambiance was nice and relaxing, the dim lighting allowed and chill mood. In addition it's very affordable for the amount of food

TLDR: A very fulfilling and diverse All-You-Can-Eat sushi dinner for $35 w/ tip. Relatively long wait before sushi gets on the table, but the quality is great. Service can be hit or miss depending on time and table size. Came with a handful of friends on a weekday night, so there wasn't a big crowd, but still several tables. Cayenne gave a slightly shady first impression, but it wasn't that bad once we sat down and started getting food. The AYCE comes in rounds - you check what you want for each round, and they will get it to the table, giving you and the restaurant a chance to pace yourself. However, each leftover piece is charged $1: sashimi, sushi, nigiri, or whatnot. The owners keep a close eye on that, so definitely avoid overordering off the bat. The wait between appetizers and the sushi can be overbearing (~45 min), but it makes sense: There are only a handful of sushi chefs, and they present everything you order per round at the same time on a single plate, regardless of how much or how little you order for yourself. I personally liked the nigiri/sashimi here better than the sushi rolls. I enjoyed their scallion pancakes as well. Most of what we ordered here was fantastic, so try as much as possible without leaving any leftovers!

Honestly, this wasn't close to the best sushi I've had, but definitely wasn't expecting it. For $27 each person, it was All You Can Eat, and while better quality fish would be nice, it was really just for volume. At some point, the fish tasted very bland and was just mushy with no distinct flavor. As a friend said when suggesting this to place - it's great for getting full, not a place to go as a first date or celebrating an important occasion. It's a little run down and was pretty empty through the evening, but because of that the food came out relatively quickly and we were able to eat plenty.

Waited over an hour after being seated for our first and only round of all you can eat last night along with many other tables. Charged full price + auto gratuity of 15%. Will not be coming back.

Cayenne sushi is an awesome spot for all you can eat sushi! It's located in a strip mall off of a main road in Johnston in what used to be a D'Angelos. The interior is nothing to write home about but you don't come to an AYCE spot for the ambiance. The price is right here and the sushi is even better than expected. It always tastes fresh and the specialty rolls are bomb. Favorites include tuna extreme, special rainbow, Johnston roll, elegant roll, and TNT roll. The restaurant can get a bit busy on weekends so I recommend if you are with a bigger group to try and place your order in one complete round rather than doing multiple small rounds otherwise you may be waiting a while for your food to come out. The waitress is a total sweetheart here and knows the regulars. She works so hard and we always are happy to see her. I've taken off one star due to the sometimes slow service when busy and the sushi chef. He has always been pleasant to our groups but on a few occasions we have witnessed the behavior mentioned in other reviews such as coming out to speak with groups about how much they ordered or cutting them off from ordering. So just beware of that and the potential slower service but other than that you are in for a treat!

Amidst being fresh and brightly colored, the dish was quite bland overall. I begged for some elevated heat and flavor profiles-- it definitely fell short and was not spicy in the least. And I'm not a fan of a grease soaked platter... maybe it settled while I drove home but I definitely mopped up oil with a napkin/strained. No bueno. *Sidebar: They have a delicious green sauce that was really tasty and quite frankly saved the dish. I opted for this in place of a sweet Chili Glaze sauce that is provided because I hate sweet flavor profiles in all things dinner! Lol MVP: A wonderfully kind and efficient staff... the order was complete, error free, prepared timely and everyone was very friendly. The best item I purchased was the SANGRIA topped with fresh pineapple! Not the food-- it was all about their in-house beverages. Unfortunately, the set up is almost buffet like with add ons (I paid extra for Pico de Gallo... this also elevated the dish. With the sauce I selected and the pico, the dish literally would have been as bland as a cardboard sandwich). Perhaps it's me-- my palette is pretty elevated and I love heat. Peruvian dishes aren't exactly known for bombastic flavors, spice and heat... but the crowd and utter lack of parking got me excited. Will I return? Perhaps... definitely for a different item (perhaps the roasted chicken everyone was eagerly ordering) and it's a must on the sangria option! But $32.90 for a very basic fried rice mixed with lo mein moment + salad (I tipped $3 amidst to go).... Nah. I'd be lying if I said it was worth it. Lovely aesthetic and energy, however. Chef's energy on the food though was a miss.... Season! The! Food! Sir!

They do have a menu - takeout or dine in (few tables but the space is small) and they also have cafeteria style prepared foods that you can peruse. I called in an order for Chicken Mee Ka Tang (Cantonese Noodles), Beef Pho, Cold Cut banh mi, Lort (Cambodian eggrolls) and a Vietnamese coffee for the mister. When we got there I was enticed by the offerings and got a small container of the braised pork and eggs and stuffed bitter melon (don't knock it people, it is an acquired taste, lol). We really enjoyed everything we had but our faves were the banh mi (great flavor and didn't skimp on the meats at all!) and the Mee Ka Tang - it did have a bit more gravy than I'm used to but really great flavors - add a little bit of chili oil or sriracha and chefs kiss! The pork and eggs were a tad bit too sweet and pork was tougher than I'd like other than that, everything was delicious. Service was super quick and food was ready as promised. We were sadly in a rush and had to be out by a certain time to catch a show, and our server understood the assignment and got us out on the tight schedule we needed. I ordered the Snow Mountain Ramen - the creamy tofu broth is unlike anything I've had and was so so unique and delicious. I thought about it for at least a week straight after eating it and am still dying to go back to get more. I also got the Iced Rose Matcha drink - $10 felt too pricy for this but I wanted a fun drink and a little caffeine kick - and again the flavors were unique and tasty. Both my friend and I happened to see someone we knew here - it's definitely a popular spot! It was packed on a Saturday night but it was still pretty quick for us to get a table for 2. Being a downtown city restaurant, the tables feel a bit cramped and I was a little too close to the table next to me for comfort - claustrophobics beware (honestly the soup is worth it though!!) Parking is pretty easy in the lot, although Holy crap they need to fix the potholes / harsh drop-off where it meets the street, and it still was not fully plowed many weeks after the big snowstorm (it's a shared lot so not a Y Noodle specific issue, but just saying). The only thing that was unpleasant were the bathrooms - I get it was a busy weekend night, but they reeked of a litter box the second you stepped in, the floor was dirty and very wet with unknown substances, and the Dyson hand dryer is at such a weird, too high level on the wall that it sprayed water in my face. We checked in with the host on the first floor, but she escorted us to the second floor to be seated. I always liked that this restaurant seems to be a small house converted into a restaurant since it literally makes me feel at [someone's] home. We were given QR codes to scan for the menu; not my favorite. I overheard another table ask for paper menus, so it appears there is that option. For a starter, we ordered handmade lamb dumplings and for entrees, original meefen and lamb on dry land with a side of white rice. It all ended up coming out around the same time and the tables are a little small so it felt like an overwhelming amount of food, but it was actually the perfect amount for two people. The lamb dumplings were flavorful, albeit, the wrappers were a tad too soft. The original meefen was very tasty, especially the minced meat. However, the uden noodles don't do a great job of absorbing sauces, so it felt like a lot of the oils and flavor were left behind. The lamb on dry land was good, but it was difficult to eat especially two people. We didn't realize it would be meat on a stick, similar to a turkey leg but less meaty. We ended up eating the easy parts, but took the bone home to finish out of the public eye. The crispy potatoes on top were my friend's favorite. The total was about $50 which was fair. Our waiter and other staff members did an excellent job of getting us all we needed and clearing plates as we finished. Upon pulling up to the front of the building, you can drive slightly further down SE and park in the small lot with several spots. I actually don't remember anything about the interior to comment much. I was laser focused on getting food in my tummy. We ordered; Tan Tan Men ; a bowl of ramen with spicy pork miso broth. this absolutely hit the spot. it was deliciously salty and full of umami, and the toppings were just right, and I inhaled it in minutes Fried Calamari ; another excellent dish. the calamari was nice and crispy and the meat was tender. couldn't have been done any better. the mango chili puree sauce was also very good and something I haven't had before Tako Yaki ; I'm not sure if I need to say anything about this. it's about as yummy and expected of a properly-done tako yaki as you would expect Karaage ; this one was actually pretty upsetting with how bad it was. the chicken seemed like it was very overcooked - the skin was hard and crunchy instead of crispy, the meat was not juicy, and honestly the portions of these chicken bites were pitiful. I even sent a snap to a friend and she felt bad for me. the flavor was also immensely salty. it came with spicy mayo (which was actually spicy! that never happens!) and a tonkatsu sauce, but honestly I was desperately in need of something sweet like ketchup or honey. Wife and I ate a total of 3 pieces. Our waiter was very apologetic and asked multiple times if we wanted it re-done or if we wanted something else, but we were already pretty content by the time we could air our complaints. To my satisfaction, he removed the karaage from the bill. Despite the miss, the customer service and the quality of the other foods makes it easy for me to still give the place full stars.

The patio outside is really clean and comfy, and it's a great spot to have lunch. What really caught my attention was the Peking Duck Quesadilla , it was AMAZING. The flavors all worked so well together, and I would definitely order it again. One thing that was a bit of a problem was that it was kind of hard to eat, everything kept falling apart, but it was so good that it didn't really matter. We got a bunch of other things too, like General Tso's Chicken, coconut rice, crab rangoons, coconut shrimp, and a shrimp sushi roll. everything was really good and fresh. The coconut rice was a great side dish, and the crab rangoons were gone in no time. The drinks were also really good, One thing though, they didn't put a lot of liquor in them, but they were still fun to drink. Our server was really great, and did a fantastic job, especially since we had a big group of 12 people. We get that it can be tough to handle a table that size. The only problem we had was with the timing of the food. Some of us got our appetizers and main courses before the others had even gotten their appetizers. It wasn't a huge issue, but it's something the kitchen could work on to make sure big groups feel like they're eating together. It would be great if they could improve that, so everyone can enjoy their meal at the same time. I would definitely go back to TigerFish. We visited midweek, so it was fairly quiet. The restaurant is conveniently located just a short walk from the ferry and offers plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors. Service was fast, friendly, and especially helpful when it came to identifying which menu items were vegan or could be modified, which we really appreciated. We ordered the B.Y.O. Tofu Spring Rolls and the Pork Potstickers. Both appetizers were generously sized. The spring rolls were fresh and flavorful, but having to assemble them myself at the table was a bit messy and took away from the enjoyment. I would have preferred them to come fully prepared. That said, they were still quite tasty. The pork potstickers, on the other hand, were a standout and an easy favorite of the meal. One downside was that the doors were open to enjoy the beautiful weather, but that also meant we were battling flies throughout our meal, which was a little distracting. Overall, Tigerfish was a great find with good food, knowledgeable service, and a convenient location. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our visit and will definitely return on a future trip to Block Island.
