This place was recommended by a colleague & decided to try but was not too impressed. Was not expecting bbq sauce to be all over the rib & polish sausage. 1 price was okay but the other was very chewy & was unable to eat it after a bite. Chicken was good. Flavor was just right & not dry. Coleslaw was a bit different & was good. Chili was a little sweet but was okay. Bread that came with the combo meal was really good. This was perfectly baked with great flavor.

Picked up a bbq pork sandwich for lunch. The meat had a great Smokey flavor that was as covered in a homemade bbq sauce that was flavorful. Portion size was good.

We were craving BBQ so came up to Caveman Kitchen. We ordered two HamBetters for breakfast tomorrow, and the bride got the Salmon Dip sandwich and iced water. I ordered the Poor Boy sandwich meal with Coleslaw and Jones Root Beer fountain drink. Also got a side of Salmon Dip for later. Food came quickly and the sandwiches were wonderful. The Coleslaw was great, as was the Salmon Dip later. The next morning we enjoyed the HamBetters with Chutney. Very nice. Great BBQ and great service. Thank you.

No complaints on the service and a salad is a salad. The problem those ribs. Sorry no good at all. Trying to force myself to eat them because I paid for them. If only I had a dog. I will not be a repeat customer.

Delicious!!! I had the Alabama slammer it was great! Meat was smoked perfectly, coleslaw was delicious, and the sauce was right on the mark. Outside seating available, service was good.

Sliced beef. Red sauce that tastes just like ketchup. I don't recommend if you enjoy BBQ, this place will make you mad.

Had the beef, chicken and that pork/veggie pack. They only thing I liked was the chicken. It was very tender. The beef was sort of dry.

Perfect balance of meat and fat and perfectly crispy and yummy bbq sauce. $8 Brisket sandwich. 2 this could have been a 5 star had there been bbq sauce on it. It was forgotten. I'd have asked for some but after the food was dropped off no one from the kitchen or bbq place was seen again. $18 Pork ribs. 1 . I had such high hopes for this. In the pics they look so good. But for $26 I expected more than 5 small ribs. The sides. The Mac n cheese was pretty good. I'd give it a solid 3 . The waffle rides were also fresh and crispy with a bit of smoke flavor. 5 Service. Also going with 1 . I don't expect to be waited on hand and foot. But it would have been nice for someone to just be out front to answer questions. Give me some extra sauce etc. I did wait st the podium for about 5 minutes before poking my head into the kitchen so I could place my Order. I didn't want to do the same for sauce. We were there 40 minutes. In that time I saw the guy twice. Taking my order and dropping off my food. I'd go back again before they close. I'd stick with The burnt ends.

Was bar top this visit passing through town through business this week. Chris was my main server today. What a gentlemen! And so accommodating to me! We weren't that hungry so just ordered the pulled pork salad and fried chicken salad. Both are HUGE and great. The meats were of course the highlights. I honestly wish we were hungrier so we could try the burgers and apps. We also ordered a side of fries, which was also huge. The fries were a bit disappointing though - lacked flavor. Overall a great find by the airport!

The restaurant itself (and bar) is cozily set up, booths and tables, and charming art work from the movie "Caddy Shack" - loved that! The brisket sandwich was tops, the fries were good, the loaded potatoes are a fun option (the bacon was a little hard to eat - not crunchy, not soft). The main upset was the French Onion Soup, which was, let's just say, not their specialty area. It was overwhelmingly salty, with meager bread to soak up the broth. The server was kind enough to take it off our bill - it was, at least for me, inedible. My spouse thought the same. This was a glitch in an otherwise fine evening. Also notable was that, even though we came in about an hour before close, they never made us felt rushed. We will definitely go back for the ambience and try other menu items - and other drinks. The staff were great! I wasn't going to get dessert but our server insisted on it and I'm glad I did. Yum !!! Perfect ending to a beautiful day The fam can't wait to come back.
