    Home made Fried Mushrooms

This place has turned out to a be a pretty solid option for us. My man loves their burgers more than I do. I just happen to a be a huge fan of the buns they use but the bringers are always fresh and very flavorful. Lots of great options for the burgers. You can easily get them by less or lettuce wrapped if you're looking for a low carb option as well. The chicken wings are solid too. Crispy and zesty too. A small portion of fries comes with the order and while the American in me says I need more fries, in actuality it's the perfect amount. But what you should NOT order are their fried mushrooms. In fact, they need to remove these off the menu. Horribly disgusting. Do not recommend 0 out ten. If you're in the area, call ahead for east and fast pick up. They tend to get busy during lunch.

Good people and good food. Hidden gem in Kent. If you get a chance and you're driving by, do yourself a favor and stop.

So we decided to try this place using Ubereats. I read the reviews some good, some not so good. But I figure why not?! I dislike leaving negative reviews, but with the prompting of my unhappy husband, and the money we spent, I had to just be honest. The fried mushrooms were chewy on the inside(did not taste fresh), and some of the batter was hard like a rock I thought I was going to crack a tooth. My husband had some ok batter, but also experienced some of the bad ones like I did. We were looking forward to trying some good burgers. But these were not good. Although the menu said gourmet charbroiled burgers, it tasted like they were frozen, then over cooked burger patties. The Hawaiian burger had a tiny slice of pineapple, and I think the only thing good about the chili burger was the chili. Glad they had it in a separate container so I could just eat the chili alone. I could only take two bites of my burger. It was so dry and overdone even drenched with chili. The back cheeseburger was ok according to my daughter. But the fries were so tasteless, I even put it in my air fryer to crisp it up a bit, then used the sauce provided, and still didn't taste like freshly cut potatoes. We paid 68.51 including a 10.00 tip. We have Uber one so we don't have a delivery fee. I should've just ordered McDonald's like my husband asked for. And I don't like McDonald's!!!

The food is good, very fulfilling. A lil pricey but good. Customer service is good, good spot to go to if you're in Tukwila. Fry sauce is also good.

I had the california bacon cheese burger and it was terrible. The beef was thin and tasted like it was cooked yesterday and warmed up for my burger, the bacon and the cheese were so thin that it was see through. The avocado was not even ripe and the tomato was okay but thin too. I could only have two bites, that's how bad it was, just terrible!!!

I asked it it was the owner's dog and they said yes. So cute! Just a dog on the napkin box haha

Oh my gosh. This is my new favorite burger joint. Quite possibly the juiciest yet not greasy at all burger I've ever had. Shake n' Go is in an inconspicuous plaza next to a 7-11. It's right near a huge busy intersection and a stones throw away from Costco. When I went, we ate inside and only waited about ten minutes for food. I got the Hawaiian burger with fries. Like I mentioned, nothing was greasy at all. Everything had a ton of flavor and the fries were so good that I didn't use any ketchup. They were good the way they were. The restaurant had a lot of personality, too. Like the napkin holder had a picture of the owners's dog. I would come back any day!

On her way home from a busy day my Mom picked us up some Shake 'N Go, which was our first time as we've driven by it many times but had never actually ordered anything from there, well tonight was the night. I got the Hawaiian Burger had a nice soft bun with a: juicy, tangy, slightly salty, with the gooey cheese just adding the finishing touch to the burger itself. Great quality and the food was still warm when it arrived home, big plus from me-I'll be back here again!

Ordered chili. Menu and container say 12 oz but it's was only partially filled. If your going to charge $8 for chili it should at least be the full 12 oz and not 8 oz that the scale showed.

The food here is a solid three stars. Five stars for the people who work here, who make it feel like a down home diner. I had the Hawaiian burger which came with fries. The burger was flavorful but the pineapple didn't have the sweetness of canned. It may have been fresh cut but it was a bit woody. The sauce, however, was extremely salty. Had the saltiness been toned down, I would give the burger 4 stars. The burger was huge so I saved the fries. French fries were actually solid, and they crisped up nicely in our air fryer for a post-work snack. I can see how this place is popular among the working crowd in this part of Kent. It's in a convenient strip mall in an industrial area with ample enough parking.

Yum! What a charming little place! A Burger stand... with all kinds of speciality burgers made with fresh meat, top leafy green lettuce, purple onions.... And for a toasted bun, they use a quality Kaiser Roll. That's quality! All made to order....I couldn't resist the blue cheese burger.... And oh my .... Did that blue cheese tickle my tongue.... Just the right amount to compliment that Burger and thinly sliced sweet purple onion.... Yummy yum. And let's not forget the fries... though stock fries from the freezer, these guys know how to cook and serve quality crunchy non-greasy fries.... Yummm and bonus.... They came with fry sauce. I had sweet potato fries, hubby had regular fries. These guys get 10 stars from us!

I came to Shake 'N Go on a crazy day. There was a disturbed individual challenging the staff at the store. Even with that going on, they took our order and got us our food fast. The burgers were cooked and seasoned very well. It absolutely hit the spot! I felt bad for the team working, but they did a great job handling a difficult situation! Thank you!

While shopping at Costco we were hungry for a good burger and found Shake N Go accidentally.. we thought lets give them a try.. we ordered the Pastrami burger with fries.. their pastrami burger was really nice and their fries were super fresh (clearly not frozen nor were they soggy - maybe we got really lucky with a fresh batch of fries) and their divine chocolate strawberry shake.. what more could one ask for?!? It is a gourmet burger place so dont expect the prices to be very low at the same time they are not very expensive either.. quality of food is good.. give these guys a try if in the area..

I've been wanting to come here for a while and I'm happy. I finally had a chance. I'm looking forward to coming back and try one of their burgers with chicken Katsu and also pork Katsu in the near future, but I had to go with the original beef patty on the first visit. Service was great. I was greeted quickly and provided with some suggestions after I mentioned it was my first visit here. Their menu is unique so that type of help is appreciated. I made mine a meal and got it with fries and you can choose from four different types of seasoning for your fries or get them plain. I got mine with the furikake seasoning which was nice and added that umami flavor profile perfectly. You also get to choose dipping sauce and I went with more Katsu sauce, but they have five or six others that looked good. I chose a lychee oolong tea in a bottle from the cooler as my meal drink, but you could also get a fountain drink or upgrade to a milkshake if you prefer All in all, this is a really really cool creative twist on classic burger spot. They also serve some bento boxes and Katsu style hotdog at this Kent location here. The bathroom was really clean as was the lobby and the open kitchen. All in all, I'll give them a 10 out of 10 and I will be back

It's so refreshing to visit a place that doesn't nickel and dime you. After placing our order, I realized I forgot to get a patty for our dog. Karla came by to check on us, and when I told her, she said she would make sure it came out with our food. It actually came out a few minutes before, which was perfect so our dog could eat first. That level of care really stood out. As for the food, everything was delicious. The loaded fries were savory and rich with a perfectly cooked egg on top. The burgers were juicy and flavorful, and the truffle fries with greens were a nice balance. The orange juice was honestly one of the best I've had. It was fresh, tangy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The space itself is bright, open, and welcoming. There are games at every table, and it's both dog friendly and family friendly. If you look at reviews, this place has issues with being consistent. Reviews tend to be 5 stars or…read morea single star. I knew I was in for an experience, so here it is. I was in the area for business and came here about noon. I was tempted to do a burger or the chicken strips. The guy that helped me said, no to the chicken, but recommended the breakfast burrito. A coupe review suggested this as well and the single photo on Yelp, looked pretty tempting. This is where everything went wrong. Per the menu, the burrito combo is $10. That includes the burrito, a drink and hashbrowns. So I requested the burrito, with Orange Juice as my beverage. Someone in the back shook their head and the cashier told me they were out of orange juice, wo when I asked what my options were, I was told soda or coffee, so I chose a Sprite. I was then given a total of $15. I asked how a $10 meal became $15 and I was told, they charge an egg fee. I get it, the price of eggs went up, but they also came back down, so continuing to charge a fee is shady. I was also told there was a charge for soda. So after being out of Orange Juice, you are going to charge me a fee for soda? Being hungry, I paid, I was told it would take 5 minutes and the food would be out. Well, the wait was 15 minutes and the food I got was warm at best. It was clear, this place was mismanaged. I'm sure my meal was done and someone was either too lazy to bring it out, or couldn't figure out who it belonged to. I also requested fry sauce to go on my hash brown patty and after I didn't get it, I asked what happened and was told, they were out of it. How are you a burger place without fry sauce. The hashbrowns also tasted funny. Either the oil was old as other people have posted, or they cook everything in the same oil. Most places have two fryers. One for potatoes and one for the meat. I also noticed that the burrito I got was close to half the size of what was pictured again, proving, this place was cutting corners. It actually tasted pretty good, but it needed a sauce. They had a mayo they put in it, but I turned that down. Mayo doesn't belong in a burrito. You either needs a good salsa, or for breakfast I will accept the option of whole or refried beans or gravy to add that savory sauce effect. So to recap. Extra charge for eggs, extra charge for soda, 15-minute wait, out of orange juice, and fry sauce and food was not served hot or in the advertised portion. For the years this place has been here, I wondered if it was a sound choice and my opinion today is no. There was no real value here, the service was slow and anytime you are out of staples from your menu, they means either you are bad with money or you can't manage inventory and neither is good for your business. I'll just assume your burgers are also overpriced and inconsistent.

This classic, no-frills spot carries a nostalgic charm, with a casual, welcoming atmosphere that makes it feel like a staple of the community. It's the kind of place where the focus isn't on trends or presentation, but on delivering satisfying, flavorful food that keeps people coming back. The Hamburger perfectly captures that philosophy. It's simple--nothing overly dressed up or complicated--but that's exactly what makes it shine. The patty is cooked well, with a satisfying sear that brings out the natural flavor of the beef, while the bun and toppings complement rather than overwhelm. Every bite feels balanced, familiar, and genuinely delicious, like a reminder of how good a straightforward burger can be when it's done right. The California Burger steps things up with a more layered flavor profile. The meat is cooked just right--juicy, tender, and full of flavor--and paired with fresh toppings that add both texture and brightness. There's a satisfying richness to it, but it never feels too heavy. Each component works together seamlessly, creating a burger that feels indulgent without losing that classic drive-in appeal. Another standout is the Onion Burger, which might be the most memorable of the bunch. The patty is cooked to a juicy perfection, locking in flavor with every bite. What truly elevates it, though, are the caramelized onions. They're soft, slightly sweet, and deeply savory, blending into the burger in a way that feels effortless. The combination of the rich beef and the perfectly cooked onions creates a harmony that's hard to beat. Not everything hits the same high note, however. The Calamari Rings were a bit of a letdown. There was a slightly off-putting seafood smell that took away from the experience, and the breading felt excessive--so much so that it would fall off easily. On top of that, they leaned a bit too greasy, making them heavier than expected and lacking the crisp, clean bite that good calamari should have. Despite that one misstep, The Family Drive-In excels where it matters most. It delivers consistently great burgers that highlight quality, simplicity, and flavor. For anyone craving a classic drive-in experience with satisfying, well-executed burgers, this spot is an easy recommendation and well worth the visit.

Stuffed Hash Browns: I upgraded my regular hash browns to the stuffed version with bacon, and it was the best decision of the day. They were perfectly fried and crispy--exactly how hash browns should be. In reading reviews. More than one person said the prices were high for a truck, but I did not expect burgers approaching $20. The burgers were grossly overpriced. Someone said they had twice the meet of most places, I doubt that, I'd be shocked if it was more than ¼ patty, the burgers were big, but also incredibly thin. I would have much rather had a burger twice as thick on half as much bun. I actually ended up tossing the lower bun and folding the burger back on itself. That was issue 1. Issue 2 was after a decent wait for free food, my fries were under-cooked, and I didn't get any fry sauce. There were bottles on the tables, but it was 50 degrees, so we weren't eating outside. I assumed there was a small cup in he container, but only ketchup. I had the guacamole burger and instead of thick, chunky, rich guacamole, I guess a tangy avocado sauce. It also had a strip, maybe two of bacon that was so thin, it added no flavor. I've had much better for a lot less and despite the women being as pleasant that can be, this was not worth the money and proved to be a massive waste of time as well, because we certainly passed at least 6 places that make a better burger for less. I can't recommend and won't be back. The food could have been 30% less and I still would have been let down. Unless this was a bad day, this was the worth burger meal I've had in my life. 100% overrated.
