I finally stopped into CAVA after hearing all the buzz--and wow, it absolutely lived up to the hype! This is such a welcome addition to the area. Located just minutes from Garden City on Old Country Road, it's a perfect spot for a quick lunch or casual dinner. The food is fresh, flavorful, and super customizable. I built a greens and grains bowl with grilled chicken, tzatziki, harissa, tomato + cucumber salad, pickled onions, and a drizzle of garlic dressing. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the portions were generous without feeling heavy. The ingredients taste really clean and well-seasoned--definitely not your average fast-casual meal. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially since it was my first time and I was a bit overwhelmed with all the options. They walked me through everything and kept the line moving efficiently even during the lunch rush. Inside, the space is modern and clean with a welcoming vibe. There's plenty of seating, and they even have a few spots outside if you want to enjoy your meal in the sun. Bonus points: they have great vegetarian and vegan options too, which makes it easy to come here with friends who have different dietary needs. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in or around Garden City. It's fast, fresh, and delicious--my new go-to! read more

I've been coming to Cava for several weeks now and each time I have been there, I've left happy. Now, depending on the time of day you go, the line can be long and the wait can become a bit bothersome, but that's expected now. The workers are doing their best to get online orders and line orders together. Just as with other popular places, you should time your visit so that you're not waiting too long or come back when the traffic dies down. Seating is limited, but it allows for traffic to flow effectively. The place is clean and the ambiance is relaxed. Filled with light chatter and music gently playing in the background, it's easy to understand why some people take a while to get up. The food is good and the atmosphere is easy hench creating the mood for good conversation. The portion size that I receive at each visit is enough to make me rub my tummy after a dozen or so bites. I'm left wondering if I should wait for my food to digest and then continue eating it or save it and come back to it at another time. Most times I share it with a family member because I like the taste of fresh food and it's only right that they get to experience Cava the way I have. Cava is definitely my go to place for a good salad. read more

It was a normal day and me and my sister were busy from going place to place running errands and decided to stop by Cava. I forgot to take a picture of the food I ate, but I ordered the Chicken & RightRice curated bowl with pita chips. When we were about to pay, the cashier started to have small talk with us and even said that our food was on the house. Little did we know that he was actually the manager! He even asked if we wanted drinks and we both declined but he gave us drink cups anyways. He was really kind and me and my sister truly appreciated the free meal! Not only was the service so welcoming and friendly, but the food was way better than I had expected. Honestly, I don't favor food places like this because I am biased to think that it's a scam that the "healthy food" being advertised will leave you feeling full and good, but this bowl lasted me two meals and didn't leave me feeling sluggish or lethargic afterwards. It was an overall great place to get food from and I hope your business succeeds! read more

I have been counting down until Cava opened in Westbury, and let me tell you, this location does not disappoint! From the first time I walked, I was greeted by the friendliest staff and amazing aroma of Mediterranean spices. All of the ingredients are freshly prepared, replenished frequently, and the options are endless. No matter how busy this location gets, I am always greeted with a warm smile and quick service. Pete, the general manager, always makes sure that every customer is well taken care of, and takes pride in ensuring customer satisfaction. Cava has been a great addition to the Westbury area with consistent quality and service. My favorite menu items include the Harissa Honey Chicken served over SuperGreens, with various toppings and the garlic dressing. I also love the Mint Cucumber juice and always leave with a few bag of pita chips. Whether I pick up or sit for lunch or dinner, I can always guarantee I'll have a great meal! read more

first time going here and will most definitely be returning here along with recommending to friends and family the service and food being a 10/10. restaurant was very simple and clean while also being fast with making your food. workers were all very kind and friendly along with owner which makes it feel like you personally know each and every person there. most importantly the food being so very fresh delicious and the serving size is amazing for how affordable the food is. i was starving and got a bowl with rice lettuce cheese tzatziki chicken and many more yummy toppings and was able to finish the bowl but normally you would definitely be able to be full and still have some more leftover which is amazing cause then you can have it later. i would also consider it a very healthy options compared to the other fast food options on the same street/area!! read more

Cava just opened in Westbury NY. I was super excited to try it. I have been back 3 times since they opened. Today I returned with my daughter for lunch. Think Chipotle only Mediterranean. Only this is so much better! The staff was beyond patient and friendly while I made my selections. I never felt rushed. The menu features custom pitas and bowls and also offers a build your own option. I built my own, 1/2 greens 1/2 rice as a base topped with grilled chicken / roasted veggies. Topped with hummus tzadiki pickled onions corn tomato cucumber olive pickles. I chose yogurt dill for the dressing it was unreal!!!! All in all I thought the food was fantastic and fresh! Flavors were amped up and authentic! The manager Pete checked in and made sure we were enjoying our experience. I would return to Cava any day of the week! read more

Wow, I've been to Cava's before but no other one has ever made me feel quite at home as this very one in Westbury. A big part in making me feel so comfortable and welcomed was the amazing staff, but more specifically Eamon and Rasheena. Not only does Eamon look like Mr.Beast, but he is absolutely the boy. He was so kind to my friends and I and made thre yummiest most scrumptious bowl ever. Despite the long line, the staff was quick to service my friends and I, leaving us with a very positive experience. The atmosphere within Cava was great! Looking around you just see people connecting with eachother, smiling, and laughing. Cava brings friends together, fills our tummies, and the staff adds a little more brightness into every day life. I love Cava. Shoutout the strawberry lemonade mix, brother Eamon put me on. read more

The customer service was over and beyond, especially by an employee named Michale Tilli. Who ever at Cava is reading this you need to either promote this guy or give him a raise. He made every customer feel at home and put a smile on everyone's face. The same goes with an individual their named Eamon. They were extremely outgoing and just made it a pleasurable experience. Now I don't have any prior relations with either, nor have I ever made a yelp review. But after going in for dinner yesterday, I knew these guys deserved it and really are the best at what they do. They really are the reason people want to go and eat there, they ironically is what makes Cava great. Again, thank you to Michael Till and Eamon for being extremely nice to their customers and making everyone smile. Deniz read more

I recently visited Cava in Westbury, and the experience was very disappointing. One of the workers, who had multiple piercings, was extremely rude. He talked to customers like they were dumb and even mumbled rude comments under his breath. It was clear he had no interest in being polite or helpful. To make matters worse, when the ice ran out, a customer asked the manager to refill the machine, but they were left waiting for over 10 minutes while the manager did nothing. The lack of organization was shocking -- I saw a customer with a baby who had to keep going back to the end of the line because no one seemed to know how to handle the situation. The overall laziness and rudeness of the staff made this one of the worst dining experiences I've had. I definitely won't be coming back. read more

Visited this location for the first time on 5/19/23 toward closing. The place was still packed with a tremendous line. However the staff, many whom appeared to be new employees, were amazing. Although it seemed stressful, the staff members were polite and did everything to try and make things move smoothly. Isaia and Melissa prepared our meals and they were great. We were also very impressed with the manager, Pete, who clearly had a lot oversee between training new people and preparing meals. . He kindly and quietly checked with the employees to correct any mistakes, as some were new, and tried to keep things moving smoothly. The food was also so good. Very fresh and delicious. We will be visiting this location on a weekly basis. Thank you for a nice experience. read more

This was my first time trying CAVA and I had an excellent experience! Mainly due to the nice manager, Eamon. I walked in close to closing time and figured I would be rushed but he assured me to take as much time as I need and gave me helpful advice on what to order and allow me to try a couple of samples since I expressed I can't eat any spicy food. The bowl itself that I ordered was so tasty, all of the food was fresh even though it was closing time which was really impressive because usually you get the scraps and leftovers at so many food establishments, but not this one! The rest of the staff members were very friendly too. Overall I had a positive experience and definitely plan on coming back. read more

I'm giving this review strictly for the service I received from Alex, Sejel, Melissa & Isaiah. They were super efficient, kind & hardworking. It was the end of the night & I saw that it was a bit stressful being there was a lot of people in line. I saw how they maintained their professionalism & friendliness & I would only go back to this place if they are working! Besides them. I think this place needs a better manager to streamline their processes. The manager is constantly talking & walking away handling money & food at the same time it is unsanitary. That's my only complaint but I really love the food & the service received read more

The staff is always super caring, and I never feel like I'm at a chain restaurant. All the employees are super friendly and I never felt rushed like I would at other chain restaurants to order. The food itself is out of this world, always fresh and once you combine everything together there is no way the food will come out bland. I find it amazing too because unlike other cuisines at Cava it's more Mediterranean style food so I love the feeling of not having to worry about something being fattening, and maybe besides the optional side of pita crisps nothing there is deep fried. Awesome feeling about this place!! read more

My boyfriend and I had lunch at Cava today and we had an incredible experience and a delicious meal. When we arrived, there was a bit of a line which we were surprised about for such a rainy day. The manager Pete checked us out and apologized for the wait. He was super kind and covered our drinks. While we were eating, Pete was going around asking everyone how their food was and cleaning up tables. Just from the thirty minutes we were there, we can tell that Pete is a hands on manager that takes the customer experience very seriously. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this location. read more

Let's face it. CAVA is the new best thing to hit the healthy food market and it adds a load of flavor with a twist of Mediterranean groove. I'm a pilot based out of Islip airport and travel across the nation. CAVA is my go-to and the experience/flavors are all identical to everyone I have been to. I had the pleasure of being helped by the gentleman running the kitchen (Pete) at CAVA here and he does an exceptional job! My two favorites have to be the Spicy Chicken + Avocado Pita and the Harissa bowl. Personally I like to sub the hummus with the eggplant dip for more flavor. Try it out! read more

My first time at Cava yesterday was a great experience. The line went very quick and the workers were very nice, patient as I decided what I wanted to get as I've never been there before. The cashier was nice and making conversation with me as I was wearing a college shirt of the college he went to. The food was delicious, especially the chicken, falafels, and the pita chips were addicting. The restaurant itself was nice, and I sat at a table with a friend. Overall a great experience, with delicious and healthy food, clean and welcoming environment, and friendly and polite staff members. read more

I visited this location after learning that they had just opened less than a month before. Upon arrival, I saw that the line to order food was wrapped around the entire restaurant! I ordered the Harissa Avocado bowl without the pickled onions, and it was absolutely delicious. The service was very quick, given the amount of people in line, and the employees were very nice. The manager, Pete, was very personable and made me feel welcomed by making small talk once I reached the register. The restaurant was very clean and organized. Will be returning very soon!! read more
