My first CAVA experience and it was not so great. I explained to the server that it was my first time and his non response threw me off. Maybe my expectation for some enthusiasm in explaining their offerings was too much. It was mid afternoon and they were out or low in A LOT of options so I didn't really get to build the bowl that I wanted. I'm giving three stars because the bowl that I did get was delicious. I was surprised that the spicy chicken was actually spicy and not mild. I loved every bit of that. I probably won't come back to this location, but I definitely need some more of that spicy chicken in my life.

This location is the worst. Employees actively avoid you, modifications aren't available on the app and ingredients are often out.

Very confusing menu. Cannot order it while you're in store. Takes a long time to prepare food and sell. It was not that good.

The music is nice and you can tell they really focus on creating a beautiful Mediterranean experience. The food is completely incredible and very unique. This is not your average Greek pita place. This is a restaurant that could easily be in Turkey for some European country. We started with the Mezza platter ( $29) - which included 6 different dips. It's pricey for an appetizer, but it is definitely worth it because it's so unique and flavorful. It was probably my favorite thing that we ate. Everything felt just a little bit overpriced for what it is. My baseline comparison is Hillstones and R&D, and this is definitely Hillstone's pricing, but not the same experience overall. My wife and I shared the lamb shank and the falafel platter and also had a side of cauliflower (which was incredible). My 3 year old had the kids item which was $18!?. it was all very very good. My wife and I had a glass of wine and the average price was $18. They also had no descriptions of what style of wine it was e.g. Cabernet Sauvignon. When I asked the server, he just recommended the Caymus. The service was transactional and something you would get at most fast casual restaurants. I get that a lot of the servers are not professional servers. For the mezze platter, it would've been helpful to have an explanation of what was on it. Basically they brought the food. They took our order and that was it. Parents: they have one kids meal which included four chicken kebabs and a side of either rice or fries ($18). The price felt very steep for a kids meal. I probably would rather have had half the portion size for half the price.

It's calm, clean, and the staff is genuinely friendly in that effortless, grounded way. The food here is fresh and actually cooked with care. The grilled chicken plate is my go-to -- tender, seasoned perfectly, and paired with the softest, fluffiest rice. Their vegetables taste like they came straight out of someone's home kitchen, not a restaurant kitchen. But let me tell you: the bread here is unbelievable. Warm, buttery, soft... it tastes like it's baked with love. They should honestly charge extra for it, but they don't. The Turkish tea is another comfort -- simple, hot, soothing. You sit there sipping it and you forget you're right next to one of Dallas' busiest stretches of road. The servers here? Handsome, kind, and attentive without hovering. They make the experience feel even lighter and more enjoyable. Ephesus is the type of place you come to when you need nourishment -- real nourishment -- and a break from the chaos of the city. Great prices, great portions, great energy. It's one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in Dallas, easily.

Speaking of hummus, the Izmir hummus was silky smooth and incredible. I've had a lot of restaurant hummus and this one was MILES in ahead of them. It also paired beautifully with all of the other items. A flawless base. I cannot wait to come back here! Marcelo was an amazing waiter and even gave us recommendations for next time.

I came here with family to celebrate a birthday and they more than delivered. The ambiance was nice, not too loud and with a classy look. The staff was very helpful and attentive. They came and checked on us multiple times. We did family style, and honestly that was probs my the best choice because there was too much goodness on the menu. I had some experience but also leaned on the staff for guidance. I would say my top three personally were the: lamb kebabs, Iraqi Quizi and the Lehmajuhn(flatbread pizza) The Quizi might have been the best part of the meal and a whole party in my mouth. I'm also a sucker for good hummus & baba ganoush and I was just about ready to lick the bowl clean. I have only had Ezme at one other place, and this was definitely better. I always love baba ganoush and this was so good, especially with the warm bread. The family meal for 4 was plenty of food. All the meats, including the chicken items because a lot of time those are over cooked. The lamb tikka, and sheeh tawook were my favorites, but I did enjoy them all. The desserts were a miss for us over all. The ice cream was on the icy side and not as creamy, kunafa was ok but I've had better. The baklava was like any baklava you can get, so not bad. It is slightly pricey but worth it in my opinion. Nice place that can accommodate larger parties, but also has some booths for intimate date night. The meat is also halal so a great option for anyone that needs that.
