My coworkers & I placed a mobile order for pick-up at this location today. I arrived and the food was ready on time, but the portions were ridiculously small. 2/3 of our bowls had only been filled up half-way or less than half-way. I had to call one of the staff over because I asked another customer what he thought and he laughed when he saw the bowls. I've been here dozens (1-3x a week for months) of times and know what the portions should look like. I never thought I'd encounter then skimping out SO bad. I had to argue with a staff member who tried to convince me that the volume was smaller because we didn't order lettuce on the bowls. We did though?They were also missing 1/3 of our free pita sides--we didn't see until we arrived back at work. I didn't take a picture of the half-bowls, but here's a picture of the sauce we asked for on the side. I didn't even notice how empty it was until my coworker showed me. Check your order before you pick-up. It's clear they do not care about quality. Summary: Food tastes really good, but the service is rushed and quality/quantity is poor. read more

The staff had 8 people and they were all standing around talking. The bathroom was dirty and all the tables had trash and food on them. I ordered food and they said they did not have chicken for bowl and it would take 10 minutes and they bring it to me. I went up and asked if it was done and then got quizzed like I was trying to steal food. As I left I believe there was a manager and one of the staff just talking by the sit door and did not even say thanks for coming in. When I got there there were 6 people in line and the guys behind the counter kept talking and one must have been his first day as he stood around and was like what do I do next. This is the first time I had to leave a 1- star review, I went around 11am ish on a Monday ordered a lamb bowl for $19.02 after taxes, the bowl wasn't about half full and for that amount of food the lamb wasn't even flavorful and dry. I had ordered this in the past few years ago and this wasn't the quality I remember and the price was way more expensive. I can't believe after paying close to $20 and they were very restrictive about how many dressings you can get etc or sauce to top it off. I'll stick to Chipotle next time read more

I've been trying to eat healthy, but Chipotle has been getting old. My boss introduced me to this place a few weeks ago. Here is what I have ordered: Grain Bowl $11.95: I usually go for their saffron basmati rice, tzatziki on the side, grilled chicken, extra fire roasted corn, cabbage slaw, and shredded romaine. I tried to get the pita crisps, but they did not have anymore. Their garlic dressing is bomb and I always opt in for their free side of pita bread. This is about $2-3 dollars more than the usual Chipotle order, but I would have to say the quality of their food is much better. Their chicken is super soft and I have never gotten any cartilage or chewy pieces that I usually get from Chipotle. It is always soft and moist, and their sides are great. I wish they had more locations. From my, I'd have to drive either 8 miles south or 8 miles north. Bring one closer to Lake Forest! read more

Ok so this was only my second time ordering here, and the first time I didn't care too much for it, but this time trying out the Harissa Honey Chicken, I was blown away with its scrumptiliousness! It's got a superb spiciness for that perfect kick. I went with the bowl and added tomatoes with onion. It comes with corn, cucumbers and avocado, which I absolutely love. i come to this cava at least once a week and then get excited for my next visit. my favorite fast food place. this build your own bowl/pita can factor in how your experience is, as you can get a variety of options making it taste different. i get the same thing everytime and it never fails to fill me up with satisfaction. i start with lentils and romaine, hummus, red hummus, and harissa, then chicken for protein, with majority of toppings, and a little red harissa as sauce. considering my bowl is lactose intolerance friendly, it is very yummy. i'm sure adding the other yogurt based dressings are great. the workers there are all very nice and patient. they work very hard to fill the chicken as it runs out fast. highlight of the bowl, it is so tender and flavorful. they also give good portion sizes! read more

My bowl: splendidgreens, brown rice, traditional hummus, braised lamb, grilled chicken, Fire-roasted corn, tomato + cucumber, salt brined pickles, lemon herb tahini and pita bread. Drink: Pineapple Apple Mint The splendidgreens has chopped greens, romaine, radicchio, escarole, chicory - endive, and cabbage. I love a good hummus. The lemon herb tahini was very tasty. The lamb was tender. I liked it much better than the chicken. The brown rice is a little crunchy. One of my friends didn't like the crunchiness. I would have liked more greens and bowl could have been filled more. Spacious seating area. Like the open kitchen, where you can see them grilling.
